  1. Haha. So true. Hmm. How about every time she gets arrested? That would be interesting, but that's probably why they won't do it. Although it would probably burn Callie up that she put herself through all of that for nothing. Of course Diamond will be her next project. I'm still on the fence about Aaron, but Callie's so awful that even I wouldn't want him in her orbit. Run! Also, hasn't Mariana started a protest already? When they got rid of Timothy?
  2. Thanks for the spoilers. Is it too late to start a Callie drinking game? Though I fear we'd all be drunk if it was a real thing: "Drink every time Callie makes a stupid decision!" I want this Kyle-Troy story done yesterday. It's obvious Troy is the killer and it's so ridiculous that the detectives in this case haven't figured that out. When two high school kids can find out that Troy's alibi is his girlfriend, but nobody else can? Come on. It makes me think what's his face is dirty. But I'm sure once the truth is found out about Troy (because no way is Callie going to jail) that Callie will inevitably find a new crusade. Sigh. I'm not trying to hate Callie, but she makes it difficult by being so impulsive and reckless.
  3. C'mon guys, give Kelly a break. I mean, she martyred herself to save Brandon and Dylan's friendship! Okay, okay, so she might have made out with Dylan while she was with Brandon, but it was with Dylan, so it's forgivable! And she might have kissed Brandon while with Dylan, but Brandon was working his Mr. Washington ways and well, Dylan wasn't 100% focused on Kelly, so she's allowed. And maybe, just maybe, she flirted with the idea of hooking up with Brandon while Colin was away, but in the end, she didn't. Kelly's a good person./Sarcasm/ LOL. I can't even honestly say that with a straight face. Fuck Kelly tbh. Doesn't she also screw Dylan while he's with Gina at some point? I think that was when Matt's wife came back so he and Kelly weren't really together, so I guess technically she didn't cheat on Matt, but she had no problem boinking Dylan yet again while he was with someone else...yet again. Oh, Kel. "You're a monster." Don't get me wrong, Brandon sucks, but that's slightly dramatic, don't you think?
  4. Today was the beginning of the Val-Noah date rape arc. This has to be the gang at their assholiest. Val and David should have told those jerks to peace out and never spoken to any of them again. Screw it, I'm making up my own canon in which Val and David moved back east and got married and had a bunch of babies and bitched about the gang on those rare occasions that they'd bring them up. Except they'd totally get back in touch with Brenda. She'd be the only one they hung out with. Seriously. Fuck Kelly and her "So, Val, how did you end up at that $10 million?" and looking so smug. And then when she 'apologizes' to Val after hearing Josh's testimony, she's STILL an asshole. If you're going to apologize, then maybe you should, oh, I don't know, actually apologize? Newsflash, the person you're apologizing to doesn't have to make it easy for you. That's kind of the freaking point.
  5. Ah yes, poor poor Kelly and nobody taking her seriously because of her "beauty." Uh, Kel? Maybe people don't take you seriously because you say shit like you've taken four semesters of abnormal psych when you're only halfway into your sophomore year of college, therefore making it impossible to have completed four semesters. Unless you took a quick summer sesh in between going on vaca with the Walshes. RME. Also her whining about being labeled as easy to Val of all people? Yes, please feel sorry for me, but by the way, guys, Val's a whore. Shut. Up, Kelly.
  6. You raise a good point. I believe they loved each other, but I don't think they were in love, at least during their second go-around. It was almost as if they outgrew each other, but they were in love with the idea of being in love and in this idealized version of their relationship than their actual relationship. After Dylan, Kelly wanted someone she perceived to be more stable and she did have a thing for Brandon in high school. Plus, I think Kelly always felt comfortable at the Walsh house and in a way, this was just cementing her place there. If that makes sense. As far as Brandon, I think Kelly was attractive physically, but you mention Lucinda and Clare. Not that it was the same as Dylan and Kelly, but in a way, it was similar. He was going into "politics" and wanted a woman he could have by his side who was appropriate. Brandon worked best with Susan. Had GC not gotten pregnant, it would have been interesting to really see Andrea and Brandon give it a go. He needed a woman who challenged him. I don't think Kelly fit the bill. And Kelly? She's harder. I never liked her with Dylan and she was such an asshole with Matt. Maybe she would have been good with Steve in the end since he matured, but still had that childish side to him and he and Kel probably could have had fun. What was the line he gives about chandeliers? That it never occurred to him and Kelly to swing from them? That being said, I think they did love each other and cared about one another, but they were more suited to friendship.
  7. Ah, you beat me to it! Was just about to post it. Thanks! :)
  8. LOL. Noah and his crying scenes. Just plain awful. Were he and Tori already dating when he got on the show? As in, is that how he got casted? Because yikes. VY was just....not good. Noah seemed poised to be Dylan lite, but he wasn't. And then when they brought back LP and kept Noah on? Why???? I love me some Val, but I can't sympathize with her choice to screw over Donna because it made no sense. Not that Donna doesn't suck, but it was shitty for Val. At least later this season gives us Val & David 2.0. Donna and David really sucked as a couple now that I think about it. I enjoyed them as friends. Their moments on the boat in S6 were some of their best, but the minute they got them back together, it all went to hell. Oh Brandon and Kelly. What, exactly, were the writers even doing with them this season? They start off with her getting shot and having amnesia, which did lead to some sweet moments. But then Bad Bob Emma comes on and is immediately attracted to Brandon (Why, show, why???) and likewise, he is for some reason infatuated with her to the point of cheating on Kelly, who dumps Brandon when she finds out about his tryst. We're then subjected to episodes of Brandon whining and pining for Kelly. They get back together, however, with a boat load of trust issues. Drama ensues! He proposes, they plan a wedding, and then don't go through with it. Seems like a whole lot of legwork for something that ended up being nothing.
  9. I'll start off with what I liked. The good: Lena and Stef getting remarried. They may not always be the best parents or communicators, but I do love their love. Lena holding the sex ed class even though she didn't have permission slips (this might come back to bite her, but I hope it doesn't. These kids need a safe space.) Sharon. Annie Potts is great and I like Will a lot too. Brandon. I know. He's still on my good list. I like what he did for Grace, although I'm meh at the kiss. (Doesn't she have a boyfriend?) Not that I don't like Grace, but a) Brandon probably won't stay likable if he has a gf b) he just got out of a relationship. Not all teens have to constantly be in relationships. It would be nice change of pace for them to stay friends. AJ. Seriously, thank you for spilling some truth tea for Callie. The bad: Jesus and Jesus and Emma. I felt so bad for both of them :( Emma's hope dissipated once Sharon told her that she didn't read that part of her letter to Jesus. I hope these kids can find a way to stay together because I like them. With that being said, it might be too much for them after everything that's happened. I'd imagine even without a TBI, a young couple going through an abortion would bring undue stress. Callie. Good. Lord. Can this girl just stop for one damn minute? My sympathy and patience for Callie is nearly worn out. I'm not saying she should forget all about Kyle, but Stef's a detective. Maybe trust her to do this stuff Callie so that you don't get your ass busted along with AJ? AJ thinking Mike only wants to adopt him because of Anna. I mean, to be fair, that is how it was framed, but you can tell how hurt he is thinking his adoption is really only the means to an end for Mike's current relationship.
  10. I'm really liking the show thus far. Sure, it's a little hokey, but what show isn't these days. And I never saw the movie so I'm not bothered much by the differences, though my hubs did and he's pointed out the differences. I keep saying John/JTR is assimilating quite quickly to the 21st century as opposed to Wells, but I suppose it makes sense. It is slightly ridiculous how many people knew they were coming although I had a feeling that Griffin wasn't being truthful the whole time and now we know for sure that he wasn't. I'm curious about Chad's mom and why she wanted him to keep them from going back to 1893.
  11. Parents who do this to their kids should IMO have their parental rights terminated. And the guy who helped his cousin get out of that place, her parents actually had the gall to say they love their daughter unconditionally? Whatever.
  12. He said he didn't know why he did it. RME. Jennifer was so brave and strong, and I'm glad to see that she's happy. I wanted her to get her moment in court, but the coward killed himself, which I had a feeling he'd do. At least she got some sense of closure when she went to his grave and the ant bit her, and she figured that meant he was listening. I wonder how much guilt her mom had. Not that she could have known what would happen. But still. The one time she asks her daughter to go back to her room and look what happens. I was so impressed by all the details Jennifer remembered and gave to the police. A lot of adults probably wouldn't remember that much and the sketch artist was dead on with her sketch.
  13. This. What exactly was Val's grand plan? It made very little sense. Seems like they did it just to segue into the Kelly moves in and wants Val to leave story arc. Speaking of, the graduation eps just aired today and that was another shoddily handled Val storyline. So, Val is planning on killing herself...but then everything is okay because Brandon lets her stay at Casa Walsh. Nobody sits down and asks Val if she's okay or thinks about suggesting Val sees a therapist. Fucking hell. She was on the bluffs contemplating suicide. That's not a situation you just shrug off and fix by having the Cardigans play at a party. Not sure why I'm surprised though since the previous season had the gang being all "Hey, David, sorry your mom is not doing well, but maybe you can snap out of your funk now?"
  14. Yeah, definitely sounds like Milo is done. Although irony is, it's not the fans pushing for more. In fact, I think the general consensus (that I've come across at least) is a resounding no. Most of us seem to be of the mind that a) there's not a lot of story left to tell b) those of us who were happy with certain aspects - LL getting married - know that ASP would come in with her sledgehammer and screw it up worse than she already has. So, yeah, this would be a big thumbs down for me. In a way, the open ending leaves it for fans to do what they want with it. Hey, there's always fanfic. But I honestly don't need another batch of episodes. Last year at this time, there was excitement and anticipation, and I totally get why. The show never ended the way the Palladinos intended it to end and for whatever reason, most of the actors really admire and respect Amy and Dan, and that's why so many of them were for it. Now though, what is left to tell? It gives off the vibe of just continuing it because you can, and that's not a good enough reason to keep doing it.
  15. No, the ages are fine. I know different states have different cutoffs so they make sense. It's more the pretending that all of this stuff has happened in less than a two-year time span that I find ridiculous. When they were working out whether or not Callie should take the deal or go to trial, they mentioned she had another eight or so months before turning eighteen. Seeing as she has a July birthday, that puts us around November. But eh, it doesn't seem that the writers care much so I guess I shouldn't either. The only saving grace is that they have tabled the Brallie relationship (I wish forever, but I'm not holding my breath).
  16. This. Bradley and Peter defend their choices by claiming it's a drama. Yes, we get that. It was also a drama in the first half of season one and they managed to balance the moms' relationship along with the mayhem the kids got into. And then it started to get OTT. Especially considering it's only been a little over a year since Callie and Jude came into Stef and Lena's lives. Callie has: been in and out of juvie twice, at Girls United, confronted her rapist, slept with Brandon, met her biological father and half-sister, created FostandFound, was an accessory to a kidnapping....I could go on. Same thing for Mariana, Jesus, Brandon, and Jude. Don't these kids want a nice, calm boring life for a while? I know I would!
  17. The timeline is a thousand percent screwed up as Callie is a senior along with Brandon, although Callie turned seventeen in the summer and Brandon is now eighteen. Mariana and Jesus are juniors at sixteen. Jude is in eighth grade at fourteen. At least, I'm pretty sure Jude is still in eighth grade since someone (Brandon?) mentioned the condom on the banana was ninth grade sex ed as opposed to whatever grade Jude is in now.
  18. This was definitely one of the worst Friends' storyline. Emily should have never gone through with the wedding since the subsequent episodes made me really dislike her and it's odd since we're supposed to have sympathy for her since Ross said Rachel's name. But when she gets pissy that Ross is in Rachel's apartment and that Rachel is there, I have no more sympathy for her. It's fine for her to not want R/R hanging out solo, but what does she reasonably expect of Rachel when the whole group is hanging out at her and Monica's apartment? That Rachel should leave her own place every time Ross is there? Whatever, girl.
  19. I remember that movie and that line. Ugh, that poor poor girl. She had no idea what he had planned. I agree. It does need to be bigger. The fact that the law seems to regard it as a nuisance is frightening. And the victim shaming is also disgusting. Instead of trying to protect the lawyer, they just lecture her about the dangers of online dating. And that is supposed to help her how exactly? Justin Massler seems like a ticking time bomb. His skype call with Erin was....alarming to say the least.
  20. Seriously. This storyline makes no sense. Troy was driving and left the scene. Now he gets to be the deciding factor in Callie's fate? Giant eye roll. He gets a pass leaving the scene because he was injured. Unless it was life threatening, he should have stayed at the scene until police and EMS showed up. But Callie has a record and apparently Troy just gets a pat on the back. Oh, Jude. Not that I'm surprised and while I never went as far as Jude, I probably did more riskier things when I was his age than I'd care to admit. Not that I ever met up with anyone in person, but I didn't always use discernment. I'm glad Callie didn't push back, but she still got her message across. Monte can GTFO. There's a part of me that still thinks she's into Lena and is just being spiteful. I enjoyed Mariana and Stef, although I agree the twitter is going to cause some major blowback. I'm really not hating Brandon anymore. I'm even enjoying him. It's a weird feeling. I'm happy he was there for Emma, but I can understand why Jesus thinks something is up (and to be fair, something is up. Just not what he thinks).
  21. Anyone watch Saturday's two-part episode about stalking? I felt bad for all the women involved, including Pauley Perrette. It sickens me that even with emails and tweets, voicemails, et. cetera, most members of law enforcement won't do anything or claim that they can't until the person is physically harmed. I can't remember if it was Pauley or Lenore or the lawyer who got told that she should have let her stalker break her arms so that then they could arrest him? WTF? Yeah....that sounds like something any sane and/or rational person wants to do! And restraining orders seem pointless as they'll either ignore them or do what the one guy did and park 105 feet away. They really do need to change the stalking laws. I was a little annoyed at the one guy's mom, but she did admit that she can't completely know that he won't do anything to harm these women that he stalks, so I guess that's something. But she still sends him money and enables him to travel and such.
  22. What is Jesus's secret? Hmmm. RME at the Callie/Aaron road trip. I remember there being a spoiler somewhere about a girl causing some jealousy between Callie and AJ. I don't normally root for jealousy, but I really don't like how Callie treats AJ. Truthfully, I think all the Adams-Foster children should step back from relationships for a while, Callie especially (as much as I like AJ). She needs to be by herself for a while and figure a lot out.
  23. Brandon and Callie work best for me when they're acting like siblings like they were in this episode. Snarking on one another for the crap each other has pulled. I never bought their "love" and it's less believable when you try and figure out the timeline of this show since their period of being "together/in love" was all of a few months.
  24. Bwahaha. Maybe she should start a blog. Which brings me to...while I'm super happy that Mariana is purging herself of secrets, I'm a little concerned that she's, you know, publicizing shit that could get her (and possibly Stef and Lena) into trouble. It's probably not the wisest move to admit to stealing your brother's pills. I know Mariana is a computer whiz, but I'm sure if they really wanted to find out who is behind that twitter account, they could. Oy vey. Even when they don't mean to, the Adams-Foster brood make dumb decisions.
  25. I'm also pleasantly surprised that I'm liking Brandon more these episodes. It'll probably pass, but for now, it's good. I'm hoping it's not meant only to give him another love interest, but to help him realize that there's multiple avenues his music can take him. I can't with Callie anymore. The girl's got this ridiculous tunnel vision that makes her oblivious to how her choices can affect her future. It's getting to the point where I don't even feel sorry for her because she continues to dig herself into huge holes. I'm glad Mariana is in therapy, but quite frankly, the whole family should be, Callie especially. I do think Callie means well and is noble, but she's also hugely detrimental to herself and people that love her as an extension. I don't know if it's partially guilt because she ended up with Stef and Lena on top of having a wealthy biological father, but damn, girl. AJ is right. His brother didn't have a choice. I get that her integrity is being called into question and of course nobody wants to be accused of something they didn't do, but with her record, I don't know why she'd want to risk going to trial. Poor Jesus and Emma :( While I'm glad Emma is not alone in this, I'd rather Mariana be inserted as Emma's friend than Brandon, simply because of the drama that is inevitably coming from this with Jesus believing Emma and Brandon are involved. This show may be a minefield of contrived drama at times, but I don't think they'd hook up Emma and Brandon for real. So it's just more crap for Jesus to deal with and Emma on top of her being pregnant. Good grief. I'm also sure the kid killed his grandmother and someone messed with the video. Sigh. I hope Stef knows what she's getting into with detective asshat over there.
