There was conversation on this thread months or maybe years ago re Mika seemingly being sarcastic with Sam Stein. When he was introduced today in one of the Hollywood Squares panels … she actually seemed to stiffen. But now here she is chatting about Bob Marley! Props to her. And why wouldn’t Joe be in on this? Him being an authority and a musician.

I cannot stand the Kathy Lee Gifford ad for vitamins. She "prays" before she takes them in the morning. It just seems (to me) gratuitous and a little craven. But I must admit the brief "scenes" from her daily life make me envious. Yes, I know it is staged. But still.

Yes, Ooompa Loompa Land. Or Oz - with Victor the Great and Powerful running things. Sweet Jesus, I wish Nikki would go on am embarrassing, public bender; probably the only way to get her into rehab and off my screen every single day. I am sick to death of her; and her husband, family, friends, etc. ....doing nothing but enabling her. And then Nick today ... condescendingly congratulating Adam on recognizing the error of his ways and trying to do better. Suck on it you greasy, angry-looking putz. The thing is, the actor is handsome and truly likable in real life. I guess it is his Emmy-winning "ackting" that makes him so believable.

Regarding Sally. Yes, she is a beautiful woman; yes, she is very very fit. But those clothes? Some (a lot) of the wardrobe for the actresses looks cheap. But Sally? Her clothes manage to look both cheap AND tacky. Yet she still presents better than poor Sharon.

I don't know where else to put this....so here goes I loathe networks marathoning shows; I think HGTV started the trend. Even with different hosts, the shows are all the same. And then there is the worst example - USA with Law and Order SVU. Seemingly for days. I love Mariska H but I am sick to death of her, her hair and her drama. (I will lap from my saucer of cream now). 911 is the newest for the all-day treatment. Paramount with Bar Rescue or some such. Is it still in production? Bones and several other shows are marathoned on different networks. At the same time. Maybe it is me; maybe I watch too much tv. Maybe I only enjoyed Bones for the first couple of seasons. As my daughter tells me sometimes ... I have First World Problems.

So both Daniel and Tucker exhibited frightening, relationship-breaking behavior. But it is a secret? And is anyone else sick of the Newman drama? Mainly Nicki's relapse? And everything and everyone around it? I sometimes forget there is a Chancellor Winters. If that is what it is still called. Did Elena die? Adam is on in snippets. The upside? So is Nick. Winning on that one.

Yes. Devon and Abby. When I think about it, they have almost been relegated to Day Players. Especially Abby.

"Barbie Pen" - seriously? Again, I didn't see it and barely know who Alexi-something is. But. If the network were to banish the reporters/analysts/hangers-on that appear who have basically nothing new or pertinent to contribute, there would be huge amounts of hot air waiting to be filled. I don't believe I have observed veteran, well-respected show hosts belittle (if that is what it was) a guest unless it was some shady, loud, rude and obnoxious person.

I guess we are all expecting an eventual showdown between VictorMumblesALot and JackBitesHisLipALot regarding Nicki. So looking forward to that - it has never happened before. And always ends the same way. But who knows, maybe Mumbles and Biter will unite against the probable evil that is The Sponsor.

I think the first one was popular; maybe people didn't like the new one? And that is why they continue to show the original. Seriously, if I was prescribed Jardiance, I would check to see if there was a reliable alternative. I hate the commercial that much.

I didn't see any of the Alicia Menendez/Alexi M interview. In fact, I had forgotten who she even is. That being said - for me, anyway, I am uncomfortable with anyone who is hosting a show to display a "You are not good enough to earn my time" tone. If that is indeed how it was; it doesn't seem professional. Now if the person being interviewed is a tinfoil-hat-wearing outlier.....

I guess Joe is so confident in his standing and importance at the network that he doesn't think twice about trumpeting possible controversial ideas. That was quite the long sentence. 😉

Back to the new Jardiance commercial - because sadly, I am just that catty. I have to wonder if the first actress declined to do another one. Got an opportunity to do something else? Or if the entitled, full-of-herself way she came across in interviews was the reason. Lapping from my saucer of cream.

I am not looking forward to Claire continuing to be a "poor" re her childhood and lunatic aunt. Obviously she has not met the crazy that defines The Newmans. Probably because she has yet to get the chance; but so far I cannot imagine her having spark with anyone. Hardly any of the current couples have that "it" factor. Sadly, Tucker has not really sparked with anyone other than Audra; and it seems like he is now being used as a scene filler/piece of furniture. What a waste of a good actor with tons of charisma. But not surprising. I was just talking about my particular sunroom/happy place.

I am fortunate to have a sunroom; that is heated in the winter. It was sunny out; temps were below freezing - but I was warm and cozy. Conducive to cattiness and pettiness. But even with air conditioning, it is too hot to be out there in the summer.

I think Victor may have called Victoria "baby" something or other today while hugging. Are there any truly likable Newmans? I have to wonder if Sally is using birth control ....or is Adam. I don't think any of us is up for a Sally/Adam baby right now. If ever.

I was up early this morning and needed a distraction. Pablo T was on - he and Joe discussed the weekend playoff games; Taylor Swift was mentioned, I think. Joe let him talk, Meeka didn't sigh; just a great back-and-forth between Joe and Pablo. Then. Did anyone hear the joke Joe made about Trump's bronzer? He was apparently repeating it from another source. I actually snort-laughed, Meeka was horrified. It was a wonderful way to start the day. I won't repeat the joke because it is probably inappropriate. Still....it was discussed on the show so maybe....but no. I did text it to my adult children. It got their day off to a great start, too.

Has anyone else seen the new Jardiance commercial? There is a new actress/singer leading it! And better dressed! This one is easier to take; but they still have the singing and dancing.

The ads for last night's new movie were about the only ads this year that made a movie look like fun to watch. I haven't seen it yet but am glad it was a fun watch.
