  1. Unfortunately, that only works if you are aware that there is a missing episode/movie. I had no idea there was an episode (elongated as it was) that aired. I knew nothing about "Secrets of GH" until @treeofdreams posted the list and I checked it against my list. p.s. @Cowgirl, OT, if you're interested, I have a recommendation of an Australian series called, "800 Words" for you. It's another "sort of" family Dramedy about a man whose wife died and left him and his two teens to try to live on without her. They lived in Australia and subsequently moved to New Zealand and all the hilarity that ensues. Again, small town (REALLY small town) where everybody knows everyone else's business. Dad is pursued by four ladies who vie for his attention, and his daughter is pursued by all the local boys. Geek son also seeks love. I actually learned a lot about Australia and New Zealand. There is no lack of diversity as half the citizens are New Zealand Maori (who are seemingly far better treated than Australian aboriginals) and the other half Caucasian. If you have an Acorn TV subscription (British TV) you can watch there. Otherwise, you'll have to acquire the series another way. Series 3 should begin airing sometime in the Fall.
  2. It showed up on season 1 AFTER you were watching season 2? How does that happen? I don't know if "Secrets" was part of the season pass of S2. I did a search on Amazon, and it gave me S3. S3 is the only season/episodes I'm watching live. I acquired all the movies and saw them in sequence. Also, I saw S1 & S2 on either Hulu/Amazon or Hallmark On Demand. I didn't see "Secrets" until a few days ago.
  3. Fortunately, Amazon had "Secrets of Grey House" available and I was able to watch it. I was surprised to see they managed to snag Teryl Rothery to play Martha's nemesis, Meredith. Ms. Rothery is a SciFi favorite as she has been in a few series like "Stargate: SG-1" and "Kyle XY". Amazon showed the episode out of sequence. If you bought a season 3 pass, it would have been the last episode on the list when it actually should have been the first. The movie, while a bit cheesy, managed to answer some questions (like when did Cassie and Sam begin to date) but it did leave me with some puzzles to figure out. One was already mentioned by @treeofdreams, who actually owned Grey House originally? I too thought it belonged to Cassie's family. What the heck happened to the hole in the wall and was it between Stephanie's diner and Abigail's flower shop? Did Abigail really try to date three guys at the same time and expect to keep juggling so they never knew? I laughed when Abigail asked why they weren't going to fight over her and one of them said, "Why bother!". These writers must have an weird view of romance if they thought that up. And who, in their right mind, would show a woman that he loved, an engagement ring, berate her slightly for not figuring it out that he was proposing; all the while claiming that he wanted to do things right. Then proceeds to put the ring on her finger, never actually proposes, and never even waits for her to say "Yes". That was one of the least romantic proposals I've ever seen. However, watching the movie makes me want to rewatch the season in the proper sequence. Although I don't know if I can take a second helping of "Martha".
  4. I have no idea what you're talking about, but this made me chuckle. :) I know, it's one of those, "You had to be there" scenarios. @AudienceofOne realized how ludicrous that sentence sounded, but it makes perfect sense to fans of the series. Basically, it's an OT quickie. The actress who plays Bozzio is on another series on The CW called, "The 100". She plays Niylah, the temporary lover of the show's protagonist Sort of a post-Nuclear apocalyptic drama where mankind's survivors have separated into 12 clans (e.g. Trikru, Azgeda) and are joined by a group of pre-Nuclear citizens (Skikru, the 13th. clan) who escaped the holocaust by living in outer space.
  5. Thanks. I'll see if I can check it out. Mine, is an older list that I compiled to get then in order for viewing. Speaking of lists, my list is single-spaced but when I cut 'n paste to this forum, it's double-spaced. Anyone know how I can correct that for the future?
  6. Here's what I have: (Sorry for any redundancy, I'm on the road and this was done on the fly) The Good Witch The Good Witch's Garden The Good Witch's Gift The Good Witch's Family The Good Witch's Charm The Good Witch's Destiny The Good Witch's Wonder Season One The Good Witch's Halloween Season Two When did "The Secrets of Grey House" come out?
  7. Hmm, seems like the ratings are all over the place. However, the ratings seem consistent in the 18-49 demographics. These are the ratings from TVBytheNumbers:
  8. Not bad for the Hallmark Channel, I think. What does GW usually get? Frankly, I'm sort of surprised, I didn't think that many people watched GW.
  9. @iRarelyWatchTV36, I didn't get the impression that 'Mum' was faking still being CR, although the Show Runner might have indicated that TH may be back next season. However, there's no assurance the actor will be playing 'Mum' or the real CR. For those of you who are curious as to what might transpire in S3, NerdGasm uploaded a YouTube video with some informed guessing. You can try checking that out there.
  10. Thanks for the clarification. The last two episodes were so hectic I couldn't keep up with who went where. I just want to know who that last little nightblood is with Clarke. Too bad the Previously.TV The 100 forum is so anemic. Thanks again.
  11. Good eye. I didn't place Bozzo as Niylah on "The 100" until you mentioned it. Clarke's temp replacement for Lexa sure gets around. Good for her. I think she was one of the Grounders that survived Primfaya, but I don't remember what clan she belonged to. If I recall correctly, she really wasn't affiliated with any clan, although she may have been Ice Nation.
  12. Jason Dohring is an old fan favorite from "Veronica Mars" days. I think he played her boyfriend for a while. He was also in "Moonlight" with Alex O'Loughlin and played his vampire best friend. In iZombie, he's playing Chase Graves, the brother(?) of the deceased (for good) female leader of the Zombie school. I believe she was in charge of preparing the Zombies' move to Zombie Island. She was in the helicopter that blew up. Liv and Peyton met him at that reception for the Zombie candidate that's running for office. The candidate was shot and almost zombied out in front of his son and guests until Liv got him to calm down. @sacrebleu With regard to Liv's hair & skin tone, I just think they use her appearance as a running in-house joke. There is always a reference to her appearance by both live and undead characters. Someone always mentions her paleness or suggests that she use spray tan. I also think the showrunner uses her appearance to set Liv apart from humans and zombies. As an aside, I can't wait to see Peyton in that bunny outfit. Even though I hated her infatuation with Blaine, I still think she's totally hot.
  13. Not an attractive part. I think Grace has been wearing too much makeup this whole season. :-) I have two nieces who live with me, and the bathroom trash can is always filled with discarded paper towels with makeup smears. They each spend an hour in front of a mirror applying makeup. I understand that the makeup department applies the actor's makeup but I think sometimes it can be too much. Writers, please don't try a Nick, Grace, Noah triangle. That's not the kind of drama this show needs.
  14. That whole attempt to bring more customers into her flower shop was a thinly disguised competition. Seeing as how almost everyone stopped by to chat with Cassie and she easily remembered tidbits about the person and offered advice and/or encouragement seamlessly, rankled Abigail. She was an afterthought to those chatters. It seemed like Abigail wanted to beat Cassie at her own game and when she successfully usurped Cassie's customers, she gloated like a little kid. "I guess I have more customers than you!" or something to that effect. Childish! I guess the writers want to paint her as the "anti-Cassie" or the foil. Why? Why introduce the subject of the "Merriwick Women" and then clearly put one of them at odds with the other? At least in "Charmed", Prue and Phoebe had traditional sisterly spats. Perhaps Abigail is envious of Cassie's relationship with Sam? (Not that there's much to be envious about)
  15. How weird, an Abigail-centric episode! Although she's not my favorite character, I was initially curious as to where they were going to go with this. Alas, the writers dropped the ball. I agree with you @Cowgirl. I'm confused about Abigail, does she or does she not share Cassie's and Grace's knack for intuition/"magic"? She was certainly aware of Cassie's gifts regarding caring and helping people with their concerns, so much so that she wanted to emulate it. (For selfish reasons, though) However, she frankly sucks at it. Grace, who I think is 16 or 17 yrs old, has more sensitivity to others than Abigail does. Are they trying to make me think that Abigail, a grown woman, needs help from a teenager to comfort people? The only conclusion I can come to, like @Cowgirl says, is that Abigail is extremely self-centered and superficial. Also, she is extremely lazy. She realized how much work it was to be to be a better listener and just gave up. Are the writers intentionally trying to make me dislike Abigail. The writers introduce ideas then don't follow through or explain things. Were the chocolates infused with magic or were they just plain chocolates and through the power of Abigail's personality, calming. Were they always bought from the store next door and Abigail wrapped them with her "flair"? No answers to those questions. Also, what was up with Abigail telling Cassie that Liam was interested in her? Was he really interested or am I that old where I can no longer tell? She deliberately approached him in the shop and then said she was "currently not dating". Was that to slyly tell him she was "available"? Was she being coy? As an Abigail-centric episode, all the other interactions seemed to be just filler. Sam plays guitar; Nick and Noah dislike each other; Martha, Tom, Tara & Brandon argue; Grace is REALLY sort of nosy; Stephanie has an extremely odd confrontation with a food inspector; all fillers to what should have been an intriguing peek into Abigail's mind and it was all a waste. Okay. I was just wondering if the books were an inspiration for your choice of username. Thanks.
  16. I hope this isn't rude, but if I may ask, what made you choose the user name "Absolom"? It is the name of the Adversary in the "Repairman Jack" books by F. Paul Wilson. Just curious, as I love that series.
  17. I think the show could use a little spice to make it more believable. Currently, there is very little 'There' there. It just seems like it is lacking an overall arc to allow the individual episodes to weave into. If that makes any sense. Right now, the series has left the serialized portion that allowed the Middleton Merriwick's cutting story to be at least interesting. Now, it's just "This week in Middleton...blah...blah....blah". I think the actors need better writing and directing to show their talents. Although I never watched "J.A.G.", Catherine Bell must have been able to act as she helped keep that series going. I enjoyed Sarah Power's acting on "Killjoys", where she played an aristocratic rogue physician and the love interest of one of the Ashmore twins. James Denton was on "Desperate Housewives" for a heckuva long time. (Another show I never watched) I'm not familiar with Bailee Madison's portfolio, but I assume she was chosen for some acting talent. I don't think the acting is lacking, just that they are not given much to work with. I, and others, have contrasted "Good Witch" with "Gilmore Girls", and the difference is glaring. Whereas GG was fun, GW is alarmingly Generic.
  18. Monarchs have to make hard decisions. Yes, Lola was a mother and a wife, but she still tried to kill Queen Elizabeth. The murder attempt was in full view of others. Elizabeth may have loved Lola, but she still had to punish her or be seen as weak. Mary had Lord Ruthven executed. He could have also been a father and a husband, but he threatened Mary, his Queen. HE chose to try to harm Queen Mary, knowing she was with child and in cahoots with Knox, who turned out Lady Emily. If the culprit tries to kill you, and THEY also also have family, should the culprit be granted leniency simply because they have family? We as fans, loved Lola, and her death was hard to accept, but I bear Elizabeth no ill will because of it. Knox is the TRUE culprit and Knox should be made to pay with his balls and then his life. I could somewhat understand if Knox knew Mary was a traitor to her people or an evil despot, but Knox was a misogynist who simply could not stand to see Scotland ruled by a woman. Don't forget, Knox forged a letter, presumably from Mary, delivered by the Nanny to Lola. Upon orders from "Mary", Lola was to kill Elizabeth. Elizabeth didn't find out until after the beheading, that it was all a ruse devised by Knox. Both Elizabeth and Mary should have gone after Knox with everything they had. HE caused the whole thing and consequently, both Queens lost a woman they dearly loved. Anyway, that's how I see it. :-) One last question: Why do you think Queen Mary was so outraged with Narcisse after he presented her with his "gift" and she realized that he had arranged Gideon's death?
  19. Oh, he's a very good actor, but I will always see him as the Keeper's (the Devil) minion in LotS. I don't remember him in LOTR, was he a bad guy in that also?
  20. Actually, it's Nuts in a Box, even classier, since he hated a woman on a throne. Now he can be a Eunuch on a Rope; dangling without his dangles. I like what Narcisse did to Knox, but I think he went too far with Gideon. Gideon was alway a straight-up honest man and while he played no role in Lola's death, he should NOT have been used as revenge against Elizabeth. Neither should Elizabeth be the object of Narcisse's revenge. Elizabeth thought that Mary had plotted her regicide, and she was sort of justified in Lola's beheading. Everything was Knox's fault and both Elizabeth and Mary grieved Lola's death. Both Queens should have been acting in unison to bring Knox down. They both loved Lola. I hated that Lord Ruthven died so easily and quickly, but they had to move his story along. I did like the fact that his smug look of thinking he had the upper hand with Mary being in the castle, fell just as quickly. Not knowing anything about Henri's penchant for crossdressing, I was caught by surprise. What also caught me by surprise was Nicole's easy acceptance of it. I don't know if she was sincerely understanding, or just accepting it as another step in her rise to power. I DO however like her twisting in the wind with the surprise betrothal to Charles. (That betrothal should last as long as Claude's dance with Luc, Catherine will have none of that crap!) Nicole is another one that should get a nasty ending, as should Henri. Too many people playing with others' emotions while good people like Lola and Gideon pay the price. I don't know what's going on with Claude but she needs to move on from Leith and stay with Luc. He seems to be an honest man, unlike his father. I DO believe that she has grudgingly come to love Luc, but her vow to not love anyone else except Leith is noble but a waste. Find love where you can girl, it may not last forever. @PinkRibbons, I think you've got it right about Jane working for Narcisse. If Narcisse was playing Gideon a couple of episodes ago, when he gave him that sage advice about the saltpeter then it truly was a long con; Narcisse is indeed formidable. Too bad I don't like Craig Parker from his days as Lord Rahl on the "Legend of the Seeker".
  21. Yes, Boki is one of the team's silent "stars". I don't think she has ever spoken except perhaps maybe once. Also, I think in one of the most recent episodes, someone even spoke to her and even called her by name. (I haven't watched Grey's since the Mer/"What's his face" plane meeting, since I can't stand the character; he's so un-Derek-like) She's been on the series since the beginning and appears in most episodes that have operating theatre scenes. If you DO watch "The Last Ship" it is essential that you watch it from the beginning; it's a very serialized series. As far as "Supergirl" goes, my youngest son sort of refused to watch it because he's not interested in female superheroes, however I made the argument that since he has female children, he should really introduce them to "gurl power". He finally let his daughters watch "Supergirl" and they loved it.
  22. I think I saw a person of color standing in line waiting for the new theatre to open, although I can't be sure. /snark GG worked BECAUSE it had diversity. Let's see the breakdown: Lane (Rory's best friend):Korean(?); Her mom, Mrs. Kim; Michel: French Canadian, Gay(?); Ms. Patty: Puerto Rican; Gypsy: Lebanese/Dominican; Caesar (Luke's chef): Mexican(?). Then there's our fan favorite, Kirk: Alien Most of all, GG had tons of humor - "Oy with the poodles already!"
  23. Yeah, IMDB had to drop their discussion boards because the "young boys" only wanted to talk about T's & A's. They were, let's say, "Not Ready For Primetime" and it became pretty nasty. As for the Anagrams, there were some sites that had special sections that decoded the titles for each "Blindspot" episode. p.s. The best way to navigate the forums is to customize your home page to the shows you want to follow and just bookmark your home page.
  24. Well, Chyler Leigh is doing just fine and looking hotter than ever as Alex Danvers on "Supergirl". She play Kara Danvers' (Supergirl) adopted sister and is a badass. Eric Dane (McSteamy) stars as Commanding Officer Tom Chandler on TNT's "The Last Ship". They're both doing fine. Chyler, is a regular and almost top-billing if not for her sister. Eric is the star of his show. They've both moved on to better roles.
