  1. Oh damn, you just had to put that image in my head. It's like a Tentacle worming it's way in my brain. That uni fits perfectly on Nicole. On Nedley, I'll have to claw my eyes out.
  2. LOL, he creeps me out also and I have no idea why. He doesn't seem very friendly, nor does he seem good enough for Grace. (I sound real elitist, don't I) It might be due to how he was introduced. Crashing a house party and letting Nick take the blame. (That's sort of a dick move) He's kind of smarmy and listless. Actually, I still see Grace with Nick. They have (or had) an easy friendship and I still wonder if Grace was disappointed when Nick said he wanted to ask her something and she thought he was going to ask her out on a date but wanted to talk about Courtney instead. I'm surprised that Grace is even interested in him (Noah). Perhaps she just wants a boyfriend and is settling.
  3. Agree about the Dolls/Wynonna tension, as she was checking out his body when he was exercising, and he always seems to make comments about her leather pants and his jaw dropped when she was wearing that red dress. Doc/Wynonna lacks any kind of romantic inclinations, at least from her side. To me, they just had sex, that's it. Scratching an itch, so to speak. Wynonna was determined to save Dolls, and her little cooing about getting him a terrarium with some nice plants was a sure sign that she prefers Dolls. Besides, I hate to be crude, but Doc looks like he smells and isn't very hygienic. Wynonna should be with Dolls and not Doc and certainly NOT Brendan Fehr's character. Doc should be with Rosita, since they have chemistry. Last thought - NO BABIES IN THE SHOW!!!!
  4. I re-watched that scene and Demelza didn't actually volunteer the information of Ross' plan, she was telling Drake to find a new purpose and not to give in to despair but to keep living because life is precious. She then said if Ross were here, he would tell him the same thing. Drake then asked where Ross was and Demelza cautioned him to keep the secret and then told him of the plan. So, unfortunate, but not dumb. Of course the contrivance of the conversation would still lead to the same action by Drake. On a side note, when Ross was preparing the would-be saviors on French soil and giving them a chance to back out, watch Drake's reaction. He's watching Ross intently and trying to learn everything he can from his brother-in-law. He clearly admires Ross and is taking notes on how to be a heroic leader. Smart boy! I can see him growing from a boy into a man.
  5. That's why I never look at "Next time on such and such.....". It's a spoiler. Someone can be on the brink of death, and then the "Next time on..." shows that person alive. I understand that the "Next times" are done by the network and NOT the show, but they really don't take into account what they're showing.
  6. Someone posted a link that has transcripts of television shows. It's "audo" or "auto" something. I bookmarked the page, but I forgot to bookmark my bookmark :-) and cannot seem to find it. I think Cudgel said something about the rescue attempt NOT being unsuccessful as George believed, then he mentioned Armitage. As for the Drake/Morwenna love affair, it wasn't that I didn't care for it, it was just that it took away from the valuable time I wanted the show to spend on other more crucial matters and characters. I'm glad Demelza didn't tell Drake that Morwenna does feel the same about him and lied just to protect him. If told that, I'm sure the hopeless puppy would have been back at her heels sniffing for scraps. Wow, that sounds mean.
  7. So much of this! They may be overdoing the George desperation, but I love it anyway. The man takes so much pleasure in others' pain that he deserves some derision. I loved the scene at the Ball where George was standing all alone after Armitage's Uncle walked away. George doesn't need any enemies, he is is own worst enemy. I also loved the scene when Cudgel broke into the small dinner and made his announcement. Everyone turned to look at George, and he grew smaller by their looks. If someone can tell me what Cudgel said about Ross' success on the mission, I would appreciate it. I couldn't make out the words. George tried to twist what Cudgel said into a failure of Ross' losing the life of one while saving another and 20 other prisoners escaping. George just doesn't understand how Ross inspires his people. I eagerly await Armitage's Uncle's confrontation with George. The look on George's face as he heard Elizabeth's confirmation of the importance of saving Hugh Armitage's life was priceless.
  8. R.I.P. Captain William Henshawe. He died, the way he would have wanted to: a Hero What an outstanding episode. I really don't care if this is how it transpired in the books or in P75. It's an adaption of Winston Graham's work in P2015 as written and produced by Debbie Horsfield and it was glorious. Ross was once again, the goes-against-the-grain hero, while "wittle, tiny, baby" George Warleggan was on the losing end. I was even sort of laughing with that fool, Reverend Osborne Whitworth's expression, when he heard George's disapproval of Ross and announced he would not be voting for Ross. It was like,"Oh, man, are you ever going to be disappointed." Loved Aunt Agatha throwing shade at George and George finding out that TPTB wanted Ross and not him. I wish I was in the scene, so that I could laugh in George's Face. Even Elizabeth showed her disappointment with George at the party and Demelza actually asked George when would he grow up. It must have been particularly galling to have a "Kitchen Maid" put George in his place. Drake stepped up and maybe even proved that he's a better man than what the Gentry thinks of him. Loved Aunt Agatha's advice to Morwenna that if she truly loved Drake, she shouldn't put Drake in George's cruel sight. I generally liked everything about this episode. A moment of silence for Captain William Henshawe...... @SilverStormm: Thank you for moving this to the proper thread.
  9. No, it's cool. I'm just a completist, that's all. Start to finish, good or bad. I cannot compare and contrast without having the evidence before me. I was just saying that I loved NCIS, even when it started with Sasha Alexander before Cote de Pablo. I watched the first few episodes of "Angel" before I watched a single episode of "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer". Once I realized Angel was a spin-off, I watched the Buffy movie and then started off with BtVS before I watched another episode of Angel. I've been meaning to watch JAG regardless of who was in it.
  10. What season of " Doc Martin"? I heard they're filming their final season. I'm anxious to see how it ends. I watch " Doc Martin" and "800 Words" on Acorn TV.
  11. Still, the question remains, what about the S1 story of the 9 royal families? Are they affiliated with the Hullen?
  12. Damn, I started like my 10th re-watch and now I feel like I've missed the boat. We've been discussing "Fringe" in other forums and the Mod slapped our hands (a Fringe fan also) and cautioned us to not take over certain threads with Fringe talk. All of the Fringe talk got me going again and I just said, F' it, I can't keep the floodwaters back. My DVD's are in another state and I can't access them for another couple of months, so I just went ahead and bought the season passes from Amazon. (Thank you Amazon) So I've started my re-watch today. I understand this forum is barely on life support, but it's nice to be amongst Compadres.
  13. Knudsen is okay, but the actor seems like he doesn't have much range. He's basically the same dull character he was in "Continuum". The NOT!Knudsen nerd is a waste of space. The female nerd probably has the most potential, and she shows initiative and guts, but she needs to lose that hero-worship of Dutch because like Dutch said, it makes her appear to be a weirdo, and a brown nose.
  14. Okay, THIS is new. Finally, a place to discuss "800 Words". It seems that the few that are here have only seen the first season, is that correct? @SilverStormm, it's nice to bump into you again from the Poldark 2015 AND Good Witch forums. Same rules apply? I will be a good boy and not reveal any spoilers. (Unfortunately, by my saying "have only seen the first season" I may have already revealed a spoiler?) There are similarities between GG's Star Hollows and 800 Words' Weld, but not much. Both are quaint towns but in Weld, everybody knows your business. Yes, both Shay and Arlo have a rough time being accepted in school, but it's only by a couple of kids. Shay has her Paris in the local McNamara girl, and Arlo has a problem with the McNamara boy. Not many similarities between Everwood (the show) and 800 Words other than in both shows, a parent has died. It would seem strange to move your family after a painful loss, but like @Quilt Fairy said, that's the main premise of the show: How each of the Turner household deals with the loss. George Turner has a difficult time, as is to be expected, but he has his kids, and their new house to deal with. Shay, is very much like her mother and is barely keeping it together because she was the closest to her mom. Arlo, is probably the glue that keeps them all together because he is the most sensitive and understands his father the most. It's a good series and I hope you'll enjoy it. There are comedic moments, but there are also tragic moments, It has a good balance of each. Like Kirk in GG, there are some odd ducks, Hell, they're all basically odd, but you'll learn that they're just regular people with odd foibles.
  15. Works for Doctor Who, but most shows just go with the old plastic surgery routine. Or flat out replace the actor and hope no one notices. Hey, it worked for "Bewitched". (Well people did notice, but back then, nobody gave a shit) They replaced the son in "The Strain" and gave us this kid that no one liked and hoped he got turned.
  16. I had no idea Maria's "Space-Boy" was going to be in this show. Haven't seen him since Roswell. I didn't feel any chemistry between Brendan Fehr and MS and the show runner knows better than to add a third party to the mix. While I love kids, I don't want a baby on this show. Loved how Wynonna was messing with Haught's mind at the end. As far as Haught's uni, I hope she's the only one who got the upgrade. Makes her even more special.
  17. Okay, I re-watched the ending and I now see what you were talking about. I must have not been paying attention because she did NOT look like the DSK we saw in the past. Again with the difference in skin tone. I hardly recognized her. This begs the question of her inclusion on Aneela's ship. What happened to The Nine? We're they always a part of Aneela's plans?
  18. Oh, okay, I thought you meant Yoki was DSK. That's why I was startled. (might as well say confused)
  19. I was asking if Delle Seyah Kendry was supposed to be the Asian woman who tried to help Ollie/Clara? Who were you saying looked different?
  20. Wait, are you trying to tell me that those two are the same????
  21. WTF? Seriously, Ollie was a skin of Clara?!?!? Way to confuse the shit. I guess they needed to close the Clara story and move on. Yeah, Knudsen, is now in a new series since "Continuum" is finished. (loved Rachel Nichols in that badass suit, Knudsen, not so much) This show is trying to fit a six-pack into a 48 ouncer. I love the energy it brings, but they should slow down. Like. I said before, they need an army and I guess the Hackmods will be part of their army but stop with the short strokes already.
  22. Yet, April went with him and he didn't have to drag her out. Admittedly, Jackson should have said something, and everyone knew she was waiting for him. Jackson didn't want to be the cause of her break-up but I think everyone also knew that April's marriage wouldn't have lasted long. She would have been pining for Jackson. Truth be told, they both really loved each other. I liked that he stepped up and admitted that at the wedding, while Stephanie was right there in the seats. I did NOT feel sorry for Stephanie at all. She knew Jackson was in love with April, but tried to ignore what her eyes were telling her.
  23. Interesting. Ran across a YouTube video of when Lucifer first met Beatrice (Trixie) and Lo and Behold, Douche is NOT Douche. Luci doesn't even call him Douche, he called him some lame derogatory name but it wasn't Douche. Now, I wasn't a fan of Kevin Alejandro is the beginning (True Blood ruined him) , but THIS guy, is defiling the role. I now can't see anyone else playing our favorite Douche besides Kevin.
  24. Skip a season?!?! Never!!! If I had, I would not have followed up with a lot of shows that had trouble out-of-the-box (e.g. Buffy, Babylon 5). No, I'll watch season 1, my intention to watch was never because of Catherine Bell, it was just the connection to NCIS. Thanks for the recommendation.
  25. I never watched JAG, but it's on my watch list because I used to be a big NCIS fan. This was before they introduced Valderrama (not a fan). I guess I wanted to see how NCIS got started. Do you recommend watching JAG?
