A snippet from the blog post: My younger sister, Joy, and her best friend, Carlin Bates, came home with us! It's been a blast having company and they've been such a great help to us while we bury ourselves in the books! I will not want them to leave after their two week visit! I love having them here for the friendship and Israel certainly loves all the extra attention! Did they always refer to their Central America mission as "home"? May be this is going be a mission extend-a-stay, thank you Josh....

Sorry for double posting. Moved from Reunion thread. Thought I was in Small Talk. Sorry. I agree.Plus, I really don't see it as much of an issue here. I have posted on boards where this was a too common occurrence and it's pretty obvious. And really annoying. I was on one board that was kind of self-moderating and if a post was reported 3 times it was automatically removed and sent to a queue to be checked by someone sometime and maybe put back up. Maybe not. THAT was bad. As I mentioned, I don't think I've been on a board where this does not happen. Trolls are everywhere.

It would not surprise to find that some posters here might choose to have multiple user names. Depending on which of their accts. they are logged on with, I'm pretty sure they can "like" their alter-ego's posts. I doubt there is a board where that does not happen. I think it was wrong to dump that accusation in the middle of an active discussion, like a pile of poop just sitting there. I worry more that posters who do use multiple names are the ones driving the narrative. Speaking only for myself, I frequently lurk in various forums/subforums/threads here at PTV. It can help me catch up on a show but if I don't see my thoughts addressed I usually will post. I have found varying degrees of response.

Wow. The Daily Mail must really not like Kelly. Those are some really unflattering pictures of her. Made my day! And the single mom thing? You're using that as an attempt at sympathy for a $50k jewelry loss? Good grief.

Never had a liege waffle and did not listen closely enough to know Love waffles were different. Now I need one! But those guys kind of bother me too. Too earnest? Too much hokum? Too? Something? I dunno. At this point Postcards and Pho are my faves. I'm not crazy about the burger guys but I would certainly try their burgers. Were they the team looking for jalapenos in the big box? And really, no jalapenos in that place? Color me amazed. Dosi's Adam reminded me of Adam Levine but I can barely remember what they made. Maybe because of Adam Levine. And I'd kind of like to forget Pho's corndog.

Interesting that he's sticking with the healthy approach as "FIT CHEF EDDIE". chessiegal, me too!, on the recipes thing. Especially with the FIT thing.

If not friends they are at least acquaintances. This picture is from 2012. I just realized that pic is not captioned. It's Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Seinfeld and Beth. I don't think I would have recognized the first two w/o a caption. And to say that I'm disappointed that Beth is friendly with Brandi would be an understatement. But I don't really get anyone being friends with Brandi. But it is one more Housewife connection. Beth is frequently on "chat" shows promoting North Shore Animal League. She really does incredible work for them. But her delivery is similar to Katie Lee-used-to-be-Joel's. Flat, little inflection with a slight nasal undertone. Annoying. I guess she'd fit right in She's fairly unassuming and I can see the other Hos trampling right over her. Unless they decide her connections, mainly through Howard, are beneficial.

I did not follow Season 1 very closely. I discovered the show mid-season. Wish I had been home for the marathon!!I had twinges of feeling bad for Scott too, but mainly because Noelle was so shrewish and she seemed kind of happy for any oppportunity to deballsify him. IRL he had way less than exemplary ethics and morals. RIP or I'd say more. And I was really glad to read that both Noelle and Caprice were gone. I don't know which one I disliked more.

Moved this over from Reunion thread.ETA: Link to article mentioned. Unless she's changed, Beth Stern has many times tried for television success on her own. She had a show on DIY network, I think, and I know she has gone after other television gigs but was unable to participate because of their NYC residency and Howard didn't want her gone for the lengths necessary. And she's friends with Kelly. She sat front row with her at one of the RHONY fashion shows and was seen on camera. I can see her doing this. I can not see Howard participating. I vaguely remember that he questioned why Kelly would sign on. That luncheon was VERY Bravo-celeb heavy. But, Verne Troyer? Huh? Ramona looked cute. I think her look suited her. Didn't see the mid-thick so much. I hope this thread is appropriate for this.

TLC must be hedging their Duggar bets.They no longer have entire episodes for your viewing displeasure but they have a whole catalog of video clips Well, I guess that clips are better for the squeamish. But, what up, TLC? Are you washing your hands of the Duggars or not? Not that long ago full episodes were still available.

And every time I hear the name Kingsley I think RHOBH's Kim's dog, Kingsley. It's been distracting in an odd way. More than once I've read a Kristen post and gone, Who??? Geesh, Betthhenny, a rim job joke? If her crass "jokes" were actually funny or maybe even fit the situation I wouldn't mind but...

I think they both look pretty cute. Love the shoes. Note from the shallow end, Avery might have that Mona-tummy thing happening. Tough to deal with.

And I've already heard too much.

I do have a problem with Bethy doing that. Grandstanding. With sometimes crude and/or crass almost sexualized comments. Making sure she is always right. Plus, Andy is supposed to be doing the mod job! I'm not sure what he was doing there. But I know what he wasn't doing. His job.

Is that common? Restaurant pros buying at W-S? Seems kind of high end. And I would think that those items could be found at a better value in a restaurant supply type place. I really don't miss Jay and I really don't miss Dom.

And it makes me think that those Reunion and Final Show group hug-it-outs will never take. They'll, maybe, all be back next season dishing the same dirt. Except I agree with those who think H has more dirt on L than likewise.

Bolding mine. I think she was trying to get jabs in at John. She also said to Dorinda that she (Betthhenny) knew that John wanted to be able to promote his business on the shows. That's paraphrased but I think she even went on to say to Dorinda, You know he did. Meow To me, it was kind of a shot at Dorinda.

And then the season with Team Hawaii. They were masterful at getting out their crowds. Glad to see the pros back. Like watching a different show! Felt bad for the breakdown but, geesh, didn't they have a clue their vehicle is maybe too old or has too high mileage to go cross-country. But they did handle it well. Agree with the, Tyler needs to shave, crowd. And he should maybe push away from the dinner table a little sooner.

I made it through the first couple of chapters of her book and if her recollections are true he was horrible. But she seemed to kind of give him an "out" because he was abused as a child. And she was glad that Mario suggested/insisted she invite him for a Christmas dinner which proved to be their, I think, final contact. Could easily be wrong there. I think that her mom's influence was easily overwhelmed by her dad's abuses.
