Palazzo pants! Thank you. Now, why didn't the judges call them that? I'm really enjoying Zac this season. Tracee Ellis Ross was faboo. I wish she was a regular. So fun to watch and listen to Laurie's admiration and I'll bet she got a huge kick out of Tracee wanting to own the sari/scarf. Laurie was very deferential, on the runway, to Swapnil. To the point that I worried she wasn't giving herself enough credit.

Bethenny & Jason: The Divorce Showdown

And when called out Bethy will say that she figured if she gave the paps some shots they'd leave her alone. -
Heather Thomson: Inventor of Yummie Tummie

I forgot Kristen's charity YT participation. That was a big deal! But it's a shame that we didn't get to see any of the jeans worn. (did we?) We saw really tacky beadazzling. And we saw racks of them. And when they (any yummietummie) were worn on camera I couldn't tell. Obviously Bethy's product is much more easily placed. No matter the logo. Damn. -

For the sake of brevity I misspoke regarding winning the suit. I apologize. WireWrap pointed that very thing out to me just upthread. I don't know what got into me. Edited punctuation. -

I think it's a good idea to keep the logo inside. -

It really is a terrible logo. I was thinking I didn't really want to sport a belly-button logo. I saw the torso but now I see maxi-pad! Does it appear on the upper left chest like most? Is it even on the garments? But good for her winning the three-panel Spanx lawsuit. That had to take tenacity. ETA not lookin' at thighs, not lookin'... -
I loved all of the big wide pants this go-round and I loved Venice especially. But they all reminded me of Hollywood glamour comes to town. They seemed over the top but I think that's necessary for the runway. Ashley and Candice working together was magic. Unfortunately other teams had less chemistry. And some real dickheadedness was revealed, Joseph and Jake... I hate being called those "hon'" terms but would have said something before the runway. I would have to Make It Stop! Poor Merline. I felt bad for her. Greece was okay. Loved the use of color but agree with upthread poster who ponted out odd placement of the blue. Still not crazy about India and not really sure why it made top 3. But love Swapnil. Such a wonderfully considered thought process. I knew it was supposed to be St Petersburg as in Russia but was confused by the end product. Maybe orchid/purple was to suggest royalty? I wish they could find a better cosmetics sponsor than Mary Kay. I don't think she can provide the colors and drama necessary for the task.

Real Housewives in the Media

Re: Jenny McCarthy Be afraid. I'm pretty sure Andy would consider her a "get". I consider her a desperate grasping disaster. In other words, Bethy's new BFF. -

I don't even know what the YT logo is! lol Have I even seen her logo on any of the shows? She must have one. If not, she missed some brand-display opportunities. I think LuLu was wearing her stuff in a scene. I can't pick it out. And I would if I could cuz I love stuff like that. -
Carole Radziwill: She's a Real Princess!
NewDigs replied to Lisin's topic in The Real Housewives Of New York City
Writer's Digest has fairly easily understood explanation.I would have to just suppose that an author/Carole might choose an already used title because it just really speaks to their book's content. And I would guess that most don't choose someone else's title but find out after they have decided they need that title!! What Remains is, to me, quite evocative. -

And she tried to pimp Skinnygirl at their T&C house. And I still feel like we're missing something. Too much. I would much rather have seen more YT product placement. The line gets such raves and I think some of the "wives" wore selections from the line yet Heather got little attribution. Nice view from her office, though. -
I know. I know. This is a radaronline link but would anyone be surprised if Josh was asking to be paid for an interview?

While I can understand him wanting Merline to be a bit less active and a little less loud this would have been his perfect opportunity to work with her and actually be part of a team. And, bonus, maybe learn something! The quote below is from his Lifetime profile linked in this thread's initial post. "Weaknesses as a designer? Use of volume and color." Asshole.

Josh & Anna Smuggar: A Series of Unfortunate Events
NewDigs replied to maraleia's topic in Counting On
Just a guess but I'm thinking that the Duggars don't need no stinkin' worldly goods. College? Pffft. We'll learn ya' just fine. Car? Where do you think you're going? House? And not live with/take care of us? etc. etc. -
Well if it's a first look at either of these possibilities count me out. Though it might be difficult to resist the siren song of dirty Juicy Joe. Now there's a trainwreck. (What a horrible nickname! Kind of ruins the word "juicy".)

Thanks Julia. This article has lots of info including costs. Takes a bit of work to get to 2k.

My first heyheyhey connection was Bill Cosby. At least my connection was already tainted.

I'm confused. This article states that Josh paid nearly $2000. for subscriptions. I thought the site was free to join but you paid for hook-ups and paid to have your account removed.

I almost wish it was something from the Onion! It was discussed somewhere here in this maze of Duggarness but this article from Advocate seems to cover everything pretty well.

The initial reason I heard for the hack was that users could join for free but if they wanted out they had to pay a fee to have their info deleted. Unfortunately those users are finding out the hard way that nothing ever really deletes from the interwebz. And I'm guessing a fair number wanted out because of lack of results. And Josh is still the only one outed. That seems odd. Maybe others used better hidden email addys. josh_the_man probably wasn't the best username.

Carole Radziwill: She's a Real Princess!
NewDigs replied to Lisin's topic in The Real Housewives Of New York City
That's what seems kind of odd. The hardcover had the more minimalist art and the paperback (usually published app. a year post hardcover) is the one with the, what I am calling, cameos/pix. And they're quite small and not particularly clear. Odd. Because, if you're gonna use the Kennedys maybe make them more easily recognized? Wish I had bought the book! I knew I wouldn't read it but it could have been mined for other info. -
I think it also has to do with making them using low heat. I think most scrambles suggest using a higher heat. For instance, Alton Brown suggests High! I'm usually somewhere in between and always add a liquid. I'm sure LuLu usually gets "The Help" to make them for her. And I really hate that she classifies employees as "The Help". Granted, I'm not in a position to pick and use such terminology, but I am pretty sure that "the help" is not what I would choose. To me, it's right up there with "those people" for a cringe factor.

Carole Radziwill: She's a Real Princess!
NewDigs replied to Lisin's topic in The Real Housewives Of New York City
I had to take a really really close look to determine that it was indeed John and Carolyn. Enough so that I wondered, Why bother? Wow. LuAnn is not only digging in her heels, she's taking up residency with this issue! -

It is very common to have titles duplicated, and more! And cover art changes frequently. It almost always changes from the hardcover to the paperback. Beyond that I know nothing about what drove this publisher's decision-making process. At the end of the day it almost has to have something to do with sales.
