  1. Or even just swapped red for black bustiers. (And ditched the red jacket's lining.) And now that the unfortunate placement of that one bunch of red flowers was pointed out it's pretty much all I see.
  2. What the hell happened between the Tim visits and the Runway? How did all of those clothes manage to look better on the hangers? Out of the minis I liked Edmond's best. But didn't think Candace's was quite the epic fail that the judges did. I hope Kelly can dig deep and pull this thing together. But how do you amp something up with glitter? And I could swear that was one of Heidi's suggestions. Kind of liked Ashley's "crowns". But they were just too one-note. All the same size, all placed on the head the same way. Her mini was awful. Awful. Feels like they kept her around just to say that they have had a plus-sized designs walk NYFW.
  3. One of the comments:so_loving_summer@gksandghs what gives you the right to call sugar fans dumb! Ur one so are you calling ur self dumb. And they rock because they show the love Christ has for us. So go suck it Those words are just so Christ-like I'm surprised they aren't in red!
  4. Earlier I was going to come out in defense of form fitting maternity wear but after seeing that picture of KK? I'm not sure which element of that get-up is, to me, the most disturbing. The color? The netting? The nips? All of the above and more. She makes Jessa look cute! Posed. But cute. eta: and maybe winsome?
  5. Gosh. This thread is such a roller coaster. So sorry for all who are carrying such emotional burdens and others struggling physically. Sometimes there are no easy answers as we process our ways through life. Just hope all can find some relief. And on the upside of the coaster thanks to all who have shared cruise stories. We were liveaboard boaters for years and have wanted to have a cruise ship experience. Lots of good ideas here. Have been looking at NCL and now also at their Gem. We don't need to go far or be very adventurous. Would just like to unpack once, get fed, entertained and relaxed. Did a train trip a few weeks ago. It's an adventure. Plenty of motion! It will be a while before I board again but it's still on my list. I was born on Mothers Day and we managed to handle both occassions reasonably equably. And now (60+years later) plan holidays together for that time. We love those vacays together and it's fun to plan something special.
  6. I don't think box pleats do any person of almost any size any favors. And drapey stuff just makes a person, imho, look like they're trying to look small while making themselves look larger than they really are. All of that extra fabric (ie tunic) adds weight not curves, imho. Embrace the curves! I don't get why Ashley is not doing that. Fail.
  7. Just finished Missoula and share your anger. But I frequently find myself angry reading true crime. Yet I continue. Having now read both Missoula and Price of Silence I find myself upset/angry with the, to me, rather obscene, culture of school sports and the way schools/universities have autonomous security forces that seem to answer to no one except the school authorities who seem to not want to hear about it. Throw in a couple of doses of prosecutorial misconduct and my ire, it is raised. If anyone is interested in religious true crime Krakauer also wrote Under the Banner of Heaven about Mormon fundamentalism. And there is no shortage of fringe-Mormon true crime books. Krakauer does a good job with it, imho. While there were times I also thought Strange Piece of Pardise was going long I remained intrigued because of Jentz's perseverance and ability to investigate this crime. Not everyone has the time nor money to finance such a pursuit and I'm glad she did. And I don't remember reading a true crime penned by the vicitm. A unique perspective.
  8. Me too! But my CaribbeanSoul mind automatically goes to this beautiful island. Wish my CaribbeanSoul body could go there as easily! It's only been a week since they returned to the "mission"? What a scam.
  9. Presbyterian here. Church was a big part of our extra-curricular activities. I think we used a couple of different words. Debts instead of trespasses. I guess it's kind of a Golden Rule thing with "Our Father" watching. I'm also guessing the Giudices attend church when the cameras are rolling.
  10. I learned and recited it by rote. I kind of got the words but no one has yet adequately explained the concepts.
  11. I love how they obscured his face in the second shot. Here I am! DoofusMan! ETA he posted those? I guess I gave our boy too much credit.
  12. Cats vs exercise? Show me the kitties! Every time.
  13. I keep trying to forget that scene... Wrong on so many levels.
  14. Considering the direction this competition is taking it could maybe be, My bologna has a first name.... I don't know who's cheaping out, Lifetime or the Weinsteins, but an injection of capital might help. Spend money to make money. Pursue sponsors beyond Sally and MaryKay. If the show's principals are so damn busy with other projects make it worth their while to better concentrate on a show that they all have to know can be better. Get guest judges more easily recognizable as fashion savvy. Stop with the manufactured drama. Didn't the designers used to do that all on their own?
  15. I was hoping that Vito's big secret was that he was sterile. Props to Caroline and Al et al for appearing sans makeup. Otherwise, snooze.
  16. I was thinking it's usually used as more of a replacement for, You're welcome. Hate it either way. I cannot belive that they were all so oblivious to the Douchedici's wrongs. And don't get how the Gorgas maintain.
  17. Agita?, maybe.I'm hungry for pizza! I used to call her girls little thugs. Now I feel bad for them. Especially Gia. Too old too soon.
  18. He'd be one of those, Give me a blowjob and no traffic ticket for you, kind of cops. I'm not sure what JD has skills for. Does he have skills?
  19. Hated strong flavors as a child. Love them as an adult. It's amazing that a Dullard, er, I mean Dillard, would enjoy anything with taste and spice. Go Izzy!
