I heard that as well - she gave a similar but different answer that Alex heard as being the same thing. They were both very different from the actual answer, but she definitely didn't deserve that comment by Alex.

I was kind of disappointed that they totally dropped the investigation into Deeks in this episode. I'm sure it'll come back, but some sort of acknowledgment would have been nice. I hated the whole thing with Eric and Nell, but the rest of the episode was decent.

Oh I totally agree - I don't necessarily think they're setting up an addiction plot, nor do I want to see one. I just meant that the fact that she's supposed to take the pills doesn't automatically mean that they're not going that route. I was worried about that too - when she tossed her coat on the chair I definitely expected the pills to fall out and a) not be there when she did need them or b) be found by someone who Bess wouldn't want to see them. Somewhat off-topic, but I was actually quite glad to see the return of the Canada Goose jacket. Not that the company really needs the product placement, but it annoyed me that the coat first showed up when she visited Canada.

Just because she's supposed to take them, that doesn't mean she can't get addicted down the road. They're probably benzos, which can definitely be addictive. But yeah, I think her looking at the bottle was debating whether or not to take them, because she really didn't want to have to need them.

This episode had some fantastic quotes, especially from Russell. "Anyone else think he shouldn't drink the tea?" Made me laugh pretty hard. Way too much Stevie though. She irritated me much more than usual. Arm Candy was great though.
-
Arm Candy is Henry. The nickname is also in the title of his character thread and I believe it comes from the whole "sexiest spouse" thing in one of the early episodes.

I don't recall which it is, but I don't think either confirms prior knowledge.

"Live free or die" is the New Hampshire motto (or something like that, it's on the license plates :P), not from the Romanian national anthem. I can't remember the exact clue, but it gave part of the Romanian national anthem and then said that people from New Hampshire could relate or something along those lines. So "live free" wasn't the answer, it just explained why New Hampshire was mentioned in the clue, and "free" was the actual answer. That's how I interpreted it, anyways.
-
I think "Free" was the answer they were looking for, and then Alex added in "live free" because that explains why New Hampshire was referenced in the clue ("live free or die").

I burst out laughing at Cam's dress...at least I saw that the stupid thing was blue and black instead of white and gold (I know it's not the identical dress but it's the same colour combination). And Dr Fuentes' drug smuggling was totally pointless/unnecessary. Christine looked like she was older than three. I can't stand Avalon. I was sad at who the killer was - I actually liked her.

I got the impression that Kensi was a big part of the reason why Deeks was holding back information from Hetty, and that if Kensi hadn't been in the room, he might have been more forthcoming. Having said that, i really hope he's honest with her. They don't need any contrived relationship drama.

I'm so glad Al lost. Partially because I like Jacqueline, and partially because on one of the "strait" clues he forgot to say "what is" and Alex (and the judges) didn't catch it. He almost did it a second time too, but corrected himself. That really irritated me.

I really didn't suspect the nurse at all - too bad, I kind of liked her. It'll be interesting to see how much of an impact this has in future episodes. I really really liked the Nazi guy. I was hoping he'd stick around. It looked like he died relatively quickly to me; the knife probably severed the abdominal aorta. The characters on this show are incredible all around - not just the main ones, and the acting is fantastic. This is becoming one of my favourite shows.

I definitely didn't think the congressman was in on it from the beginning. To me, the ending seemed pretty clear that he had no idea, but seeing how it benefitted him, and as it's already done, he's more than willing to run with it to help further his career. Personally, I think that's even more creepy than him being in on it from the get go. If the congressman has been groomed from a young age to value ambition over family, it's not all that surprising that he'd take this stance. It really would be interesting to have another episode down the road with whatever new scheme they've come up with, and have the BAU realize how messed up the congressman really is. The mother was a fantastic character, and it seems apparent that kidnapping the wife wasn't her end game.

I think that's part of the point, though. Tom gets to grow up, while Danny doesn't. They're not going to look the same age forever. Of course, Tom grew a bit more than you'd expect within the timeline of the show, but I don't think he looks THAT old.

This exactly. "This keeps happening to me, Alex". As if he's jumping all over the board for no reason. And as soon as Tim started editorializing while the clock was still ticking, he irritated me, though he did somewhat redeem himself later on. I'm still glad Jacqueline won though.

I was way too preoccupied by Michelle obama's hair to pay any attention to her clues lol. Gautham alternated between irritating me beyond belief, and reminding me of one of my favourite profs from when I was in school. By the end he was much more on the irritating end of the scale so I was hoping he wouldn't win. And the girl in the middle (Christy?) kept giving so many dumb answers that I didn't think she deserved to win either. FJ was easy if you're familiar with the Pieta. I thought the "chaste mother" part gave it away.

That was such an incredibly easy DD and he came up with "nurgery?!"

The mayor surprised me. I didn't think she had it in her. I'm surprised the many nazi guards didn't just shoot her on the spot. I really don't trust the nazi that walked in on the leader with the son with Down syndrome. I wonder if they're setting up the father as a future ally/spy.

I'm also very good at suspending disbelief, and when I watch TV I am generally very forgiving in terms of ridiculous storylines. For me, the reason I watch TV is not so that I can watch something that could happen in real life. I'm much more interested in the characters themselves rather than whatever the story of the week is. So, with 200, I was really just thrilled to see Emily. I love Emily. It doesn't matter much to me how ridiculous the story is (and I do realize that there are a LOT of issues with it and things to nitpick); I'm just happy that Emily is in it.

Hearing that Kristin loves Survivor brought me back about 13-14 years (I can't believe it's been that long!) to when I used to watch it religiously. Made me like her even more! She had pretty much resigned herself to losing, though - and then when she won, her hands were visibly shaking! Colin irritated me. When he made that huge bet in the DD, I was hoping he'd get it wrong (and thrilled when he did). His swaying back and forth was annoying. He was fast on the buzzer, though, and ultimately his cocky betting cost him the game.

I'm really not one to notice clothing, but for some reason with her I really do notice! Sometimes in a good way - she wore a blouse in this episode (or maybe last?) that was exactly the same colour as her eyes and I remember thinking it looked fantastic on her. And sometimes it's not in such a good way - the winter coat made me laugh, because yeah the pockets were so high up that it looked really awkward when she put her hands in her pockets, and of course it's a Canada Goose coat for her visit to Canada (I don't remember noticing her having that coat before). Because of course it's SO much colder in Port Perry than it is in DC that it requires a brand new crazy-expensive winter coat. You'd think she was coming from Florida or something.

I'm not sure how much of this is new information, but it seems like the rest of this season is going to be heavy on the drama: http://www.inquisitr.com/1921915/bones-spoilers-brennans-pregnancy-booths-gambling-serial-killer/

I thought the FJ was pretty easy - you really just needed a basic idea of where states are located. I'm really not sure how he came up with Arizona. I mean, I guess it's a border state with Mexico, but nowhere near Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. Just like I have no idea how the guy came up with British Columbia for the clue that was asking for a state...it did throw me that the clue mentioned Ontario, because my mind automatically goes to the Canadian province rather than the city in California, but I haven't the slightest clue where BC came from. Much better game than last night, though. And I like Kristin; I hope she continues to do well.

I think there is a scene in series 1 where Beth asks if Danny knew - however, I might be mixing it up with Gracepoint, since it's been a while.
