  2. I really don't see this as one of Sam's fears anymore. He rewrote his own history, and in his mind everything with his powers and the demon blood turned out fine. He even made it a special point of mentioning it to Dean. I figure Maggie will either be hurt badly or die. This will trigger Sam's fear of not being an effective leader. I think there is a potential flashback in this, so I would like to see this but these writers lack imagination and talent. So I think Dean's fear will be the standard, something happening to Sam. I don't think Mary would lose that much sleep over losing her sons. She doesn't seem to like them very much. Probably something happening to Bobby or Jack. Probably losing Mary.
  3. So if Mary is off with Sam, then that means Dean is probably Nu/OldBobby.
  4. I said I believed Perez was trying to send a message that Hatchet man was coming after "bad people" because he left Sam and Sam alone. (could they be any more blatant) and Stuart was attacked because he was stealing. I've seen people comparing Dean to Stuart because he had a squirrel on his t-shirt, and saying that was Dean but its good that his self awareness is increasing because Dirk was his nice side that he needed to get in touch with. The whole Jack story wasn't about Dean's grief. It it was it wouldn't have been ignored in the so-called grief ep, which was actually a shaming/blaming ep for Dean. It was about establishing Dean as a bully. Berens can deny all he wants that he doesnt' write Dean as a bully, but the evidence is right there on screen. Because Dean never possessed leadership abilities. This should have been Sam all along. Dean was just holding him back. Dabb decided that Sam needed to be good at something else. Dean Who?
  5. Mark was supposed to be a MinnConn both Saturday and Sunday. He had to cancel Saturday because of filming.
  6. Mark P also cancelled his Saturday appearance at MinnConn so that means he several of the next episodes. Just go away.
  7. I really can't express how much I could care less about Nick. Just go away and don't come back. Take Chief's army with you.
  8. Don't you know that Sam is the one that got hurt here. He was so stressed and put upon having to look after Jack, 30AU hunters, and Lucifer's vessel. Poor wounded baby bird had to endure being called chief and not having time to shave.
  9. The only spoiler I saw from the gold panel is that Dean eats some slop soon. Someone really needs to talk to these writers about priorities.
  10. I have no doubt if the situation had been reversed, the first words out of Dean's mouth would have been you stopped Lucifer, that makes it worth it. But for some reason the show doesnt' seem to think Dean is willing to sacrifice himself for anyone but Sam.
  11. So true. My head canon is that part of the reason Dean chose that outfit because its completely different from the well tailored, well fitting suits that Michael made him wear. So that if he saw himself in a mirror, he wouldn't be reminded. I wonder if Perez was originally trying to create a parallel with Dean and Stuart, but it got lost in translation. Because we see Stuart trying to steal the ThunderCat, and then we learn that and had range issues. When Hatchet Man escaped the comic book shop and locked Sam and Samantha in, why didn't he try to kill them. We they trying to say that Hatchet man came after Dean because he did bad things. I do find Perez's writing very shallow and superficial. Sam's reason for hating halloween was kind of eye roll worthy. After School Special told us that Sam and Dean moved every few weeks. So even if he was embarrassed by what happened, he wouldn't have had to be there long. So how attached was he really to the girl. Not to mention, Sam isn't over an incident from his childhood but he expects Dean to get over his traumas in a week? Perez also copies and pastes a lot from previous episodes, trying to capture that nostalgia of prevoiously loved eps and their never good as the orginals. So I wish they'd stop with the homages becasue they don't quite seem to have the knack. (My opinion of course).
  12. Chief probably turned it into a bedroom
  13. The promo for next week is a little confusing. They're searching for Maggie and they find their worst nightmares. So its it a generic worst nightmare, like some bad guy shouting, "I'm your worst nightmare." or is it individualized? If its individualized I hope the writers use some imagination and not just go with cliches, becasue Dean's worst nightmare right now should be Michael taking hold of his again. Maybe promo pics will give a more overall direction
  14. I was surprised at this too. I was also glad they didn't go with Dean hitting on Sam's girlfriend. Another moment I liked was Stuart's house. When his mom served the apple cider and Dean grabs The Flash mug. Reminded me of the time in ep 2.2 when Dean went to grab the regular chair. Dean also seems to be a Big Bang fan. I wonder if there was a cut line about Dean making a remark the name of the store owner being Stuart.
  15. What was up with Sam(antha) and Dirk? There are mirrors and then there are carbon copies. It almost felt like Perez is trying to plant the seeds for another Spinoff.
  16. I had the same thought when Sam told Dean to stay behind and baby sit. I was asking where's Dean. Yeah, it would have been cool to see Dean and Dirk (i think and really show Sam and Dirk) both running from the hactchet man and both geeking out and freaking out at the same time. But I guess it was more important to give the MacGyver moment to Sam even thought that's much more of a Dean move. While I'll admit this was the best Dean was written in awhile, there were still little digs at the character. With Dean needing to be saved, and needing simple stuff that makes no sense for Sam to know explained to him by Sam. Sam, the boy that seems to hate fun, knows videogames and internet slang. I don't buy it. It just seems like yet another attempt to turn Sam into Dean. This is why I hated it, because even if Jensen changed it, if its authorial intent we'll see it in further epsiodes. I'm expecting next week, Dean will be out of his room and interacting with the other hunters. He may even try to give them advice only to be told, "stop bossing me around." I do also get a sense we were supposed to see Sam in charge during the hunt, evidenced by all the times Sam spoke over Dean. I think it was just Jensen's dominate screen presences that that sucked all the oxygen out of the room, so Dean came across as mostly in control.
  17. What choice did Dean have? Archangels can only be killed by an arch angel with an arch angel blade (or at least that week). Michael was too weak to take him on. If Dean doesn't' do what he did, Sam and Jack are both Dean and Michael and Lucifer are both on the lose. Because Michael wouldn't' have died. He wasn't going to stop and play nice. Dean had a bad choice and a worse choice.
  18. Lucifer was going to burn down the planet and was twice as powerful with Jack's grace. Because of Dean they have one arch angel to fight instead of 2. I'd say that matters. It would be nice if the show acknowledged it.
  19. I thought that trailer was unnecessary too. Its like they had two minutes to fill so they threw that in there. The thing I didn't really like about the opening scene is that it felt more tied to having everyone in the bunker and Dean being uncomfortable more than the stuff with Michael. I need that addressed, and not just in one "I'll feel guilty forever line." Because that isnt' new.
  20. I hope so. We'll see what the following weeks bring. (not a spoiler just an observation) Sam seems to like it. That's the way Jared plays it.. At least to me
  21. This ep wasn't too bad right up until the last scene. They couldn't make Sam and Dean equals. Nope,Dean's under Sam's command now. I hated Dean calling Sam chief. He's not Deans' boss. I'll give credit to Perez for the reason why Dean loves Hatchet Man and horror movies. The bad guy always loses. Credit where its due. The whole Dean loves Hactchet Man wasn't as bad as I thought. Dean bonding with the kid. I've missed that. Dean geeking out and finding joy in the little things is always one of my favorite flavors of Dean. Dean using whatever he can to fight is another one. Plus, Dean eating a lollipop was oddly enduring. It was nice for someone to finally tell Dean it wasn't his fault, but it would be nice if the show acknowledged that Dean also killed Lucifer instead of just saying Dean did it for Sam and Jack. I don't care if Dean believed it. I as a viewer needed to hear it. Since Dean is a big fan of hatchet man, I would think he would notice that key chain since the original didn't carry it, I thought Dean would have noticed it. But i guess Sam needed to save the day. I called Dean needing to be saved by the random dude. Sam's reason for hating halloween was lame. I still didn't like the sneak peek scene were Dean doesn't know what Fortnite is or the Sam blowing up the door for reasons that belong in bitch/jerk But the end scene still brought the episode down so much
  22. I'm talking about the end of the episode where Dean pretty much said he would report for duty and called Sam chief. Lately its Sam finding the case. Sam is clearly in charge now and Dean is just another face in in Sam's army.
