  1. 300 episode photos. It looks like Sam and Mary get tenderness from John, but why does it look like John is betrating Dean. (photo 14) That is the pose Dean adopts when someone is lecturing him. Hopefully its just the photo. Also with Deans' sacrifice I hope its not a bait and switch, where what Dean read in the book was about Sam (for some stupid reason) and Dean came up with idea to build the box as a way to protect Sam, then once again it would be framed as Dean sacrificing himself for Sam rather than the world.
  2. I woudn't mind if they did something like with Sam's wall. Rowena could maybe reinforce the door with a a padlock rather than just the screwdriver which would give them more time to look for another solution. Panic would be normal in that situation. It shouldn't be treated as weakness, but I don't trust Dabb and co. not to frame it this way. We know that we have "other Sam" coming up. It has to be episode 12 or 13, because I think they had just started filming the 300th when they made that announcement.
  3. this is my worry. Panic and losing your last live line would be normal in that situation. Kind of like Dean's panicked screamed in hell, but I'm worried that show will have Sam see that as" rescue me" and it will framed that Dean was too scared to really go through with it.
  4. That is my guess as well. I've been speculating that Sam was ultimately going to be a prophet since we found out there is a wall of names. Its possible he's having visions of Dean. I saw this picture of Jensen, taken with fans. It's not technically a spoiler but what caught me is how long Jensen's hair was. (unless this is just a camera angle). He doesn't wear it that long as Dean. It wouldn't have grown that fast since Friday. But if Dean was still under the ocean he should have a beard too. Although if he had a beard and was spotted fans would know something was up, so it might be a purgatory thing where it just doesn't' grow.
  5. I hope its not something like, when Dean calls Sammy into the phone, Sam hears him just before the battery goes dead but Dean doesn't know that. Then Sam thinks Dean wants to be rescued so Sam goes to get him. Because then Sam is the hero and Dean is the zero who wimped out. Since we haven't heard much about Dean in the 300th, just that he makes a wish, my ideal scenario would be Dean's at the bottom of the ocean, in ep 12 and at the end we see Sam rescue him and tell him they found another way. (not that Dean wimped out) Dean's happy and we have the 300th, and then in a twist we see that it was just Dean's mind playing tricks on him and episode 300 is a dream. I would give Dabb all the credit if he pulled off a twist like that. Then episode 14 has Sam working with Rowena (Jared and Ruth were spotted filming together, Jensen wans't seen on set at all) to find a way to save Dean, and we more of Deans' struggles at the bottom of the ocean. Episode 14 is written by Yockey and is called Ouroboros, which is a snake eating it's tail. Then episode 15 is Peace of Mind with Yockey and Dabb's assistant (gag). Maybe, similar to what Death did with Sam and Rowena can reinforce the wall in Deans' head. Then episode 16 and 17 can be standard monster of the week, and they don't have to worry about Michael. But 18 is Berens (double gag) so I'm guessing that will be a wayward Sue ep because that his other two eps were. I'm sure Wayward poser will come looking for her spear. Then episode 19 and 20 can deal with Michael. But this is Dabb and he doesn't think long term (no way do I believe he has a plan) and he needs Dean back for episode 300, so I'm guessing the Sam hears Dean's last desperate Sammy before the phone cuts and he interprets that as rescue me. (if that scene wasn't a vision by a prophet). My biggest worry about the Rowena episode is that she somehow transfer Michael to Sam, because we have the spoiler of a new Sam coming up. Although hopefully that is part of the 300th and nothing long term. No more altered Sam's please.
  6. I disagree because Michael had about less than 7 minutes of screen time. We had two scenes that really didn't mean anything. What was the point of Michael's scene with the holy man when they cut the important stuff and the Jo stuff was pure filler. Not to mention how Dabb completely blew Jensen off when he asked for direction. "I'm an island until myself" were Jensen's words. If Dabb really had an intention of making that the A plot he would have responded. Its great that Dabb trusts Jensen, but that the point is Jensen felt he needed direction and asked for it and was given zero support from the show runner. That, imo, was so unprofessional. And speaks volumes about Dabb's interest or the effort he put into the story. Episode 1 I would classify as Sam centric. The only real impact of Dean being gone was one neatly trimmed grief beard. That even stayed after Dean got back. Followed by Jack's multiple pep talks and Nick. We got a little more focus on Michael in ep 2 but Michael isn't Dean. He's a totally different character. Jensen being on screen doesnt' necessaily mean Dean centric. Dean was literally one screen about 15 seconds in the first two eps. We never really had any scenes where people were talking about him or missing him. "Dean doesnt' matter" were words literally spoken by a character on screen. Nothing in the bunker improved when Dean got back, actually "Chief" ended up with more responsibilities since he now only sleeps 2 hours a night instead of 3. We didn' even see Dean trying to track down Michael. After episode 3, Michael was pretty back burnered the rest of the season to focus on Jack. We had some nice scenes from Jensen in episode 7 but the focus of that ep was really on Jack. Dean has no real role in the bunker anymore. I've seen him described as an extra appendage. So Dean is pretty superfluous to the anything happening in the bunker. I agree episode 10 was the first real episode that actually focused on Dean. Episode 11 had some good Dean scenes but IMO, that focus of that episode was mostly Nick. So out of 10 eps, only one really gave us focus on Dean.
  7. I wouldn't really classify this as a Dean season either. The first half didn't focus much on him or Michael. In the premier, we got two measly scenes and even they were apparently cut. Including a key line that showed Michael's disdain for hypocrisy. We didn't even get a glimpse of Dean. Episode 2 was about Michael establishing his plan, and we had about a 10-15 second glimpse of Dean. There were no Dean vs Michael scenes or anything is Dean's head or any real confrontations. Dean, himself was literally in 15 seconds of the two eps. Then Michael just left for....reasons. In regards to the Michael storyline there were two scenes that really went know where and had zero follow up. Not even Dean seemed all the concerned with what happened. If Michael had left Dean in a coma when he left, there would be little the writers would have had to rewrite. He was pretty much useless in ep 3 (although to be fair it was a Kaia Sue Wayward pimp fest and they were all pretty useless) Sam and Samantha saved the day in Mint Condition, Sam saved Maggie in episode 5. Episode 7 and 8 Dean really didn't make a difference in those eps. Jack came to his own conclusions about living a good live since Jack died anyway and Dean wasnt' really a factor in bringing him back. I can't really remember episode 6. I think the trap was Deans' idea, but that's the only major plot point that would have to change. There were some nice Dean scenes but he didn't really factor into the overall storylines of may episodes. I would classify this more as a Nick season if I had to choose, followed by Jack, and then Leader Sam with the Michael storyline coming in a distant 4th. For me this is anything but a Dean season.
  8. I'm surprised "Chief' didn't stomp his foot and tell the demon to go away.
  9. I see Dean is taking a beating among the Cas fans for not saying goodbye to Cas (and ignoring that once again Cas left). It looks like Dabb is getting what he wants in trying to make everyone hate Dean. I just hope they can figure out a way to keep Dean out of the coffin without making him look like he chickened out. Yes, there is nothing wrong with being afarid and not wanting to be buried alive for eternity, but since this is a show it will bring out the inevitable comparisons between him and Sam.
  10. I'd have to watch it again but it looked a lot like Cas's fist punching through the window of a door, probably to unlock it since you can see a lock.
  11. From @catrox14 in the Damaged Goods episode thread While I don't really think Jensen is going anywhere (based on comments from interviews about the 300th ep). There hasn't been a confirmed sighting, (that I know of) of Jensen on set since episode 13.
  12. Even Bobby needed space from needing space with the Ice Queen
  13. Its easy to do, I forget sometimes not everyone reads spoilers. One part I did like was Nick telling Sam it wasn't about him. I've been waiting 14 years for someone to say those words.
  14. @juppschmitz you should probably spoiler tag your last statement.
  15. The problem with Dean's interactions with Mary in this ep is that once again everything was initiated by Dean. She knew what was going on, because Sam told her and she couldn't even be bothered to call and check on him. Bobby was away (even he needs space from Mary, apparently). Why didn't Mary go to the bunker to see if Dean needed anything? Dean was the one that called her and said he was coming for a visit. He had to ask Mary to go get some groceries (okay, I know this was to get her out of the place), but in the end it seemed like he still cooked his own meal.* Then we get this supposedly heart warming story about Winchester Suprise that ends up with John getting upset because Dean didnt' do it right. I'm supposed to find that heart warming. I'll fully admit this is my probably my bias against the character but those scenes with Dean seemed forced on Sam Smith's part. It's like the actress didn't want to play "nightgown Mary" Her smiles during the dinner scene seem forced, as did her tone. *I also admit was kind of distracted during this scene so I might have missed something about the cooking of the meal. If they cooked it together or Mary did it fully than withdraw that point. But the rest still stands
  16. I see double standards are alive and well. When Sam wants to lock himself away with an arch angel, he's brave and sacrificing himself to save the world. Dean has no choice he has to accept it or he's being controlling, sees Sam as a baby or doesn't trust him. Every body wets themselves over how amazing this plan is and how Dean better get on board because they're too hard on Sam and he's a big boy and its time for Dean to accept it. Dean does even if he doesn't like it. Dean wants to lock himself away with an arch angel, he's dumb, suicidal, how will poor Sammy handle this, its a stupid idea. Basically the exact opposite of how everyone supported Sam, Dean has zero support. I fully believe there is a rule in the writers room that Sam must always be braver, smarter, stronger, suffer the most, be the one to sacrifice for the world, etc. Given Dabb's love of SuperSam, and weak cowardly, killer, sloppy, messy Dean, whose only allowed to sacrifice himself for Sam, I still smell major bait and switch.
  17. Sam is much more of do what I say, not what I do kind of person. If Dean doesn't want Sam to interfere maybe he should by him a dog.
  18. Not that Canon means anything, but reapers aren't supposed to kill
  19. I agree Jensen is amazing. (sorry my pet peeve).
  20. It would be an interesting twist if the 300th was in Dean's head, but this is Dabb. He wouldn't know creative if it bit him. Plus, if it was Dean's fantasy then Zacheriah coming back or s4 Cas really doesn't make sense. I figure Dean will be out of the box by the end of the next episode. Either he panics and demands to be let out, which might happen if he prays to Cas or Michael escapes and its no longer necessary.
  21. I Not with the 300th coming up. Everyone will need to be normal.
  22. Unless Jensen is permantly leaving the show, its obvious Dean isn't going to spend much time in that box. So either Michael escapes or they make Dean wimp out. My money is on Dean wimping out.
