There's nothing so meaningful as a gift straight from the fart. -

It's started happening to me, too. A certain nickname I use for Master William Abbott Le Merde now, automatically turns from the B word description I've used into "Billy". It's like having an onsite word roomba divebombing posts. -
Oh no!! I hope the damage to the car is minimal.

I will not miss Phyllis. Nope, I'm driving right at her. -

I'd be more than happy if he started calling him "Hey, Asshole!" But then, I'm just old-fashioned and sentimental that way. -
Friday's show was the most all-around enjoyable episode, for me, in quite some time. I thought everyone pretty much meshed and even though Kristen really had no reason to be there, I loved Marlena slapping her hand away from the flowers and having most everyone else ignore her. I love Belle so I was glad to see her back, ditto Andrew and Paul. I also loved the Maggie, Julie, Sarah and Holly scenes. There's a change in how Holly is being portrayed, I think, and I like it. She's calmer, maybe starting to mature a bit? The weakest for me were the boys playing baseball but that really was fine, too. Our underlying knowledge of what's to come, with Doug's passing and now John's certainly played into my reaction to Friday's show, I know. If Show can keep up this kind of character based storytelling, at least for those storylines, I'll be very content.

Awww, talk about Precious Moments! Vlad rebuilt Castle Transylvania and took us all on a trip down Misogyny Lane. We got to see Victor build his own Bride of Wigglestein from discounted parts and a voice box ripped out of an old Betsey Wetsey, first lured into his fetid lair by Lurch portrayed by Paul Lynde. Through mating rituals designed by the Dark Arts, several monstrous eggs were laid and the Newman Dynasty was born. The castle was redecorated by a demented Laura Ashley and the only romance ever condemned by the CDC as a public health hazard began, nurtured in a house devoted to the kind of love and family only the Newmans can manage. Anybody got a match? -

I'm leaning more and more in the direction that Tara somehow successfully mated with a marked down Precious Moments figurine and then passed off the result as Kyle's. As if. He's hardly a collectible. -

All of you most excellent preverts covered the Wagnerian Opera that was Heather's Taco Bell Drive-thru Funeral complete with white Texas Bluebells so well I've got nothing to add, except......I'd have loved to see Sharon respond, when Daniel told her not to come to funeral with "I'll stay away from the funeral when you and your troll family get your coffee somewhere else". GCAC - nothing says "fine dining" like an accompanying funeral. Rather than all those tributes to Heather, I think a little polka party with Myron Floren and Co. could have really livened things up, given Heather the sendoff she deserved, and one that Paulie Tightpockets would have wanted. You gotta give the people what they want. -

That poor bartender. That poor man was stuck, being stutterbarked at by Phyllis at her looniest and all he could do was polish a glass and hope it would be an effective weapon if she jumped over the bar in hungry velociraptor mode. I know Sharon's the one having the delusions but Phyllis is nothing but delusional, ever. Also, I hate MS's newest acting tic, you know, the almost-crying taut voice she now uses to end every scene, as if she's Scarlett O'Hara declaring she'll never be hungry again. STFU, please. Pity Party Central didn't end with her, though. Billy is back to being full Biscuit with his constant whine of "nobody respects me" b.s. No shit, Sherlock, nobody respects you because you've screwed up your life to this point, so why would anyone believe anything different? Also, you've been handed every job, every position on a silver platter, from either your brother or your mom. Those two roam the streets of Genoa City, free and clear, and it's Connor and Ashley who end up in institutions?? I can't get into this Nate's long lost brother storyline at all. I did a lot of ff'ding with those scenes. It's hard to care about previously unheard of characters. -

I'm pretty sure I've never said a good thing about Billy Nostrildumbass Billy Abbott since Jason Thompson took over the role. In fact, I'm positive. So butter my biscuit and call me late for supper, but I'm going to say something nice now. Against my will, try as I might to resist, but he was GOOD today in his scenes with Sally. Good like I've never seen him be on Y&R, funny and charming and lowkey all the way. Nobody is more shocked than I am. On all of my previous attempts to try and like General Hospital, at which I failed each time, Jason Thompson's character, Patrick Drake, was one I was always happy to see. But I didn't think he fit the role of Billy Abbott from Day 1, not at all. But today, with Sally, he was fine. More than fine. I can't believe it. Now the rest of the show was dreck, especially stutterbarking Phyllis stuck on repeat, as usual. -
None taken. What I mean is that while I don't like the character, I do enjoy their machinations. For instance, I like who the character Maggie is and I enjoy watching her storylines and interactions. I don't like who Vivian is or what she does to people, but she sure is fun to watch and root against. Now a character like Ava, I just don't like or enjoy watching.

Making her a widow would be a good start.

I agree. He's the best of all the young'uns IMO. He also was the MVP of today's shew. I watched, and rewatched, and rewatched again and I'm sure he gave Billy the finger as he exited Crimson Lights main room for the patio. Johnny, how do I love thee? Let me count thy fingers..... Ghost Cameron was gross and getting on my nerves but I'd take him any day over angel-faced St. Nick as Sharon's main vision squeeze. She must always be aware that he's a hullucination since the real Nick never spends that much time anywhere without doing a "Pull My Finger" routine. And as in life, he does not exude the odor of sanctity as much as the after-effects of a late night stop at Taco Bell. Connor's got bigger problems if he thinks his parent reuniting is the key to a good life. -

I'm fond of take-no-prisoners Lily, and I love her verbal takedowns of NIkki and Victor. But does she really think Jill is going to put her back in charge after Lily attempted to sell out Chancellor to Victor so she could get her old job back? If she hadn't done that, I think Jill would have bounced her baby boy Billy out on his flat ass but I don't think she'll do that now and I especially don't think she'll reward Lily for attempting an end run around her with Victor's help. I would love for Lily to win something and not go back to work for her brother. I hate all this assumed servitude to a predestined career based on a dead relative's business and even more subservience to that banal piety of "_______ would have wanted it this way". With all the respect that sentiment deserves, let me give it a hearty "Who Gives a Fcuk". Just let Lily thumb her nose at all the boys who think they know better than her. -

It was hilarious when Abby said something about how Sally did such a good job on her LAST wedding dress so she was sure she would the same for this last minute wedding dress. I'd forgotten that Sally had already designed a dress for Abby. Sally's done one wedding dress for Victoria and now two for Abby. I expect she'll do such a good job on this one that Victor will ask her to design matching shrouds for him and Nikki to wear on the nights they haunt the graveyard. I'm wondering why Jill will be back in town for Abby's wedding. Why would she want to celebrate the wedding of her ex-granddaughter-in-law to the guy she cheated on her grandson with? She better not be getting them a gift since they're squatting rent free in her house. LOL. Absolute perfect description of this silly set-up. While Nate fills out a pair of jeans like a pro, there's nothing particularly special about his character for Damien to aspire to. He's a serial cheater, formerly a surgeon with a god complex, now a businessman at his cousin's company. Not bad by GC standards, but not exactly Man of the Year material anywhere else. Poor Devon pretty much had to ask him to be best man. There's nobody else I can think of, other than maybe Mariah who is even his friend. At least he's not stuck with having to ask Nick. -

That's probably it. She's doing a "Stella Dallas" play. Though, looking at it a bit differently, reuniting Jack with Kyle might just be the ultimate act of revenge. -

Okay..... has Traci been hit on the head recently, or started sniffing glue? Because I'm hard pressed to come up with another reason for the conclusion she reached, after her conversation with Diane, that "Diane only cares about herself"? THAT'S what she took away?? For a supposedly successful writer, she's pretty poor at reading between the lines. Diane's working a plan, solo, and she's the smartest person in the room. Not as hard as it seems considering the company she keeps. Not to be outdone, Phyllis was even crazier than usual today. Besides babbling hysterically at first, Chance, and then Michael, she goes after Christine, accusing her of wanting to punish her by throwing Daniel's case. Ms. Dunderhead of 1993 seems to have forgotten that one of Christine's "unforgivable" sins was how much she loved Daniel and how much Daniel loved her back when his dad and Christine were a couple. Completing the circle of stupidity, we got to watch Nikki finally realize that Victor's great scheme was all about her and Jack's fateful night in the hotel, when Jack stupidly took pills to shock Nikki back into sobriety. How could Victor DO such a thing, even when he told her early on that's exactly what he was going to do???? Further proof, if it was needed, that MENSA will not be opening a field office in Genoa City anytime soon. The only one with all the lights turned on today was Genoa City's answer to Heidi, Little Miss Claire. She explained the ins and outs, the twists and turns of the human heart to widdle Kid Pomp, who was as entranced by it all as Harrison is by watching caterpillers turn into road kill. Just wait till Claire clues him in on the birds, the bees and Brussel's sprouts. -

His return was announced on October 9th so I doubt we're seeing anything he's done yet.
