Another Cin fan, and I also would be ok with them recasting Ciara. I like the chemistry between VK and RSW, though if the rumours are true, that chemistry may no longer exist, so if getting an actress who would be available all the time would get Cin out of their bubble, I say go for it. Hope, though, not sure I could accept someone else portraying her. But at the same time it's ridiculous that the character isn't in Salem with all that's going on with her family.

I kind of miss the show too. But at the same time, I'm getting used to doing other things during Days' tv airing hour, so hopefully I'll be able to get back in the habit of watching once it returns on the 21st.

Over on the DR site, where I still lurk, one of the mods has posted that due to people testing positive for Covid, that scenes get filmed out of order more than ever, so not to trust dressing room pics as proof an actor is still on contract.

I've missed the last 2 episodes so have fallen behind already. Don't think I care enough to watch them online, so guess I'll just try to tune in next time.

I couldn't decide if I wanted to take a look at this thread, and be possibly spoiled on something, but guess I didn't have to worry.

Not sure if I'll be able to watch every episode, but did enjoy last nights, despite no knowing many of the "celebrities".

I'll confess to though not necessarily thinking it's groundbreaking, but thinking that it's a different story for Days to tell. However ... ... not impressed that they've gone with a character who is portrayed by someone who is gay in real life. Maybe it's just a coincidence, but I'd have preferred the actor to have to research the storyline, and then put their spin on it, rather than go with something they may have lived through in their own life. But I will say I was feeling Craig's discomfort as he squirmed while listening to Nancy, and just wanting to blurt out his news. That's what I was thinking.

What was Roman going on about with Craig and Nancy about them doing something to his daughter. Guessing something to do with Carrie? Good that they're referencing the past, but maybe a tiny clue there, Ron, for those of us who either weren't watching back then, or have bad memories.

Big news for a Sunday morning! Even though I'm a Cin fan, I'm ok with them leaving Salem, and with the BTS Instagram rumours, plus VK not willing to stay on full time, it's not a surprise. So letting them leave town to raise their new baby, is fine with me. Killing Abigail also doesn't really bother me either, as I always hated KM's portrayal of her, and am just ok with MM's version. Plus no one is really dead on Days, so if the show stays on the air, I'm sure there'll be a "back from the dead" and/or doppelganger return. However, I will be disappointed if Cady is the one playing Jennifer for the funeral. Maybe MR really is done with the show, but this seems like a very big deal for a recast to handle. And I will be really annoyed if it's Gwen that kills her, or even if Gwen gets to stay on the show. Hmm... maybe a possessed Gwen kills her.

I just may. But for the fun, not the soul crushing. LOL

I haven't watched regular BB in a while, but did see some of the last celebrity one, and was thinking about maybe watching this one. On that list the only ones I've heard of are Todd Bridges, Lamar Odom (when he was in the news all the time due to whichever Kardashian he was married to), and recently saw mention of John Mellencamp's daughter, which was probably because she was going to be on CBB. So not really celebrities, to me, but still may tune in.

Considering they've already foreshadowed it, I'm thinking it very likely that the movie producer will be the first fatality caused by someone possessed. At first thought it would be Johnny, but now wondering if someone in Paulina's family eventually gets possessed and kills him. Despite some weird breaks in the story telling, I am mostly enjoying the show these days. In fact, a little disappointed that we're being forced to take a 2 week Olympics break.

Oh, right. I forgot about Snyder. I think though she's done some pretty awful things to Abigail, killing her seems to be the line she's not willing to cross.

When Ava implied that they should kill Abigail, Gwen balked at the idea, because she had already been accused of killing 2 people in the past year. One was Laura. Who was the other?

Excellent. I'm still not back to watching the show, but can't quit this forum, so lurk from time to time. Glad today was one of those times, so I could help out.

For a minute or so yesterday, I thought Gwen was showing remorse for masquerading as Sarah to Maggie. But then, if I understood the dialogue right, it was not that she felt bad for tricking Maggie into thinking she was Sarah. No, it was because Gwen was upset and jealous after seeing the relief and love Maggie had at seeing her daughter, which poor "woe is me" Gwen had never experienced in her own life.

I'm kind of impressed that Ron has decided to, instead of just rescue Sarah, send others to the deserted island as well. It may end up being stupid, but for me it's an unexpected twist. And since I wasn't watching during Possession 1 or Melaswen, neither story feels like a rehash to me. Gwen, though, really is getting worse and would seem unredeemable, but this is Days, so likely a stay at Bayview, and all will be forgiven.

It's really not a good look. Scanning her Tweets, her hair looks much better in pics she's posted. It was hard to know for sure which pics were current, but found this one from November, which, granted, was months after what we are watching was filmed, but her hair style and colour looked great then.
