I guess it was expecting too much to hope that Sarah was cured. At least the baby voice will fit the character's "age". Sigh. I guess if they can redeem the necktie killer, they can redeem anyone. But Gwen is just getting worse and worse.

I hate the way they pace storylines these days. Belle and Shawn haven't mentioned what happened with Jan since it happened, then today it comes up in conversation, while they're out for drinks, no less, and then guess which prisoner suddenly has an urgent need to see counselor Belle. Jan, and her belly pillow, of course. 🙄 Really hope that's the end of SarahRenee. And now we have AllieDevil. Sigh,

Ahhh,,,, so TR's not rolling in money, and is "charming" Paulina because she's rich.

That all makes sense. I do wonder if Ron, though, sees it that way too. I like Allie, some of the time. Gwen, though, can go.

I watched today for the first time this week, and 2 questions came to my mind. 1. why does TR want to get close with Paulina and Lari/twins? He's only in Salem because of the movie, has shot Eli, so like what's his motive to convincing them he's changed. I guess, maybe to hide that he shot Eli, but he was pretending to have changed before that. 2. why is the devil so interested in everyone but Marlena. I thought she was the reason he came back to Salem. I know, now he wants the Cin baby, which is really stupid, unless he plans to possess the baby, which is just all kinds of gross and wrong, and not something Days has the budget to do anyway. So 2 storylines that started out sort of OK, but have gotten stuck in convoluted offshoots.

I haven't been able to muster up the interest to watch yet this week. Have I missed anything worth mentioning?

I went outside and did some spring clean up, and I also have no interest in watching, or seeing what I missed. And, yes, the comments on this board are the best part of watching Days, these days.

I thought today's episode was really good. Part of the reason I think is having so many characters in scenes at the hospital. Loved Abe looking out for his family. Also glad Eli is just in a coma, and not dead. Hopefully if Lamon needed time off, the coma gives a reason to not be in many scenes, and with all the TR drama, that should keep Lani occupied.

Isn't one deterrent to this happening that Christie Clark is living in the UK now. But it would be great seeing a storyline with Carrie and Anna together, along with Marlena, John, Roman, etc.

I may have missed this, but don't think so, if Sarah thinks she's Renee, instead of just saying she hates Maggie Horton, shouldn't she be screaming that Maggie Horton isn't related to her, therefore has no right to sign the commitment papers?

I really, really hope Ron isn't killing off Eli. I know putting him in an eternal coma is basically the same as leaving Eric in Africa, in that their spouses are stuck in limbo. But I like Eli, and if Lamon can't commit to full time, do a recast. I'd miss Lamon, but not in the same way I miss MR as Jennifer, or KA as Hope, if they ever decide to recast that character.

Today was good, and I really enjoyed the brother/sister chat between Allie and Will, even if it did veer just a tad public service announcement-y. What was up with TR talking to himself. For a second I wondered if he was now possessed. And, yeah, waltzing into the hotel with blood all over his hands. Guess he had those pocket Lysol wipes to clean off the doorknobs. Of course the devil jumped back into Johnny.

But it's come in handy now that she needs something red in her wardrobe. So is she going to do a "memory erase" on Marlena? Is Johnny now free, and will beg for Chanel's forgiveness. Or is the devil just temporarily hanging out in Belle, and will be back in Johnny again? Well that escalated quickly from TR insisting he had changed to him having a drug connection in Salem. Too bad they didn't get the Rory actor. Or is Rory in prison? Can't remember what happened last with him.

Duh. Just realized it wasn't Craig vs Kayla, but Craig vs Mike in version one. So not even a true repeat. And fits for the Craig character. He does look younger than Craig, but so much older than Will or Sonny.

I'm all for it too. It's good to have a different story happening, even if it's one re-Ron dug up from the past. Better Craig vs Kayla version 2, than Dimera/Titan version 25.

I really enjoyed the last 2 episodes. Didn't realize how much I was missing Will and Sonny, and nu-Sonny seems like he's quickly fallen into the role. Maybe doing the Peacock shows helped him get a feel for the character. Hopefully they'll be in Salem for a while. Didn't even hate the Bonnie/Nancy makeover scenes. Bye bye wig. You won't be missed. I keep watching for some smirk or squint or anything to let the audience know Leo is faking his "better person" role, but nothing yet. Maybe they don't want us to know, or they haven't even decided yet. Same with TR. Felt like something was going to happen today, but nothing.

Oh, I don't remember space alien episodes. Maybe I didn't love the show as much as I thought I did. LOL I wondered if having John on Leo's side means the redemption is for real.

Oh, how awful. Hope the surgery is successful.

Although I have my doubts that it's real, I wouldn't totally be against a redemption storyline for Leo. I mean, I guess Bonnie's reformed. Speaking of Bonnie, though I wasn't missing her, or Justin for that matter, it was nice seeing families on screen today. Wonder if we'll get to see Ari? It would actually be good for the Gabi character, I think, to see her with her daughter, and not just always in the tiresome Dimera/Titan CEO battle storylines.

Do you mean the original 1970's version, or is there a new one. I loved Steve Austin, as well as Jamie Sommers and her spinoff The Bionic Woman. And really, compared to the crazy things that happen on Days, they were were probably less out there. I mean, didn't Steve get implanted with an eye that could record things? Steve Johnson, that is, not the 6 million dollar Steve. LOL. And that's not even getting to the "essence of Stefano" thing, and the magical masks that change a person's voice, and also body size. 🙄

I'm a Cin fan, but they have way too many scenes with just the 2 of them. So today was nice seeing Ciara talking to someone else, even if it was just Tripp. LOL And though I can't stand Jake with Gabi, I've always like his friendship with Ben, so enjoyed those scenes. I think I could like the Jake character if they got him away from Gabi. I think someone already suggested this, but maybe put him back with Gwen.

I was just newly back watching Days when EJ got shot, so I don't remember much about it.
