I don't know if it's the same in the men's game, but in the women's game the high school AAU coaches have a lot of power. So much that one college coach hired an AAU coach to her staff. When his player graduated, he was let go. There are also times where AAU coaches charge thousands of dollars to work the college summer camps. They'll then help steer their player to those colleges. Also if they don't like a college coach, usually because they refuse to play the game, they'll do the opposite. Somehow none of it is against NCAA rules. However I doubt UCONN has to do this because they're at the point where if a player wants a championship they just go there.

One of these days a show or movie will get tornadoes right. I made the mistake of watching Into the Storm and as an Oklahoman it annoyed me.

I swear the same thing happened with Zendaya. Taylor made it sound like they were BFFs, but Zendaya said she didn't meet Taylor till she was asked to be in the Bad Blood video. From what I remember Zendaya said they don't hang out much. It could've changed since the article, but at the time it made me think Taylor used her.

I'd like it to be Cat, but I was actually thinking it might be Lucy.

She's Superman's Cousin!: And Other Supergirl Spoilers
Stuffy replied to The Crazed Spruce's topic in Supergirl
Probably just a filming style choice, since Cat is handcuffed and chained somehow. -
I'd give Pat Summit a statue. I'd also say she educated her players to succeed both off the court and in the classroom. I believe when she first started out she taught classes in addition to coaching. She did a lot for women and title IX rights. OU would not have a women's basketball team if Pat hadn't spoken up and led the way when it was dropped.

Fandom and Viewer Issues: "Fan" Is Short for "Fanatic"
Stuffy replied to Emma's topic in Once Upon A Time
Well Jen just posted a pic with Colin and said Emma is going to the underworld to save her man. So, cue the once fandom getting an early start on their meltdown in 3...2...1. It doesn't take much for people to go after her. -
Spoiler Discussion: The apple was poisoned?!
Stuffy replied to regularlyleaded's topic in Once Upon A Time
I'm thinking when Emma was in foster care they covered her medical care and paid for contacts. Once she left foster care, she just had her old glasses because she couldn't afford contacts. If you take care of them, glasses will last several years but contacts don't. Once she became a bail bonds person she could afford contacts again. Or Emma didn't wear glasses until she got older. I didn't wear them until I was a sophomore in high school. -
Spoiler Discussion: The apple was poisoned?!

Maybe the woman took Emma under her wing and taught her the bail bonds business. The woman is critically injured chasing a suspect, and later Emma keeps the jacket as a memento like she did Graham's shoelace. -

Well at least it's better than that creepy "mom" and "dad" bs the kids are do now. -

Yeah seems like she's done with Twitter for now. Everything comes from Instagram, Facebook, or that Rex thing. We'll see if she live tweets the 100th episode. I'm betting on Instagram photos. -
I thought it was written by Glen Morgan.

I thought he was hit by a stray bullet from the gunfight. He was standing near the doorway.

Media: Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Makes The News!
Stuffy replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in Crazy Ex-Girlfriend [V]
If they do decide to give it another chance despite the poor ratings, I hope they put it on Netflix and/or Hulu immediately after the season is over. Maybe people will binge it during the summer. Also I feel like Netflix and Hulu would reach a higher audience. Seems like more people would have those apps rather than CW. I know I don't have a CW app. I don't even know if they have one I'm just assuming they do. If they wait until August to put the entire season online like many shows, that'd be too late. Many people get busy with school resuming. Of course a renewal isn't looking good right now. Also I was wanting to check out some new shows On Demand over the Christmas break, but many of them only had the most recent episodes. Needless to say I didn't give those a chance because I don't start in the middle of seasons. I think it'd be smart of new shows to provide as much access as possible to gain viewers. -
I figured that out when I read the producer's interview. Just didn't post about it because nobody seemed interested.

That 18-20 5.1 rating is huge in today's tv world. I hope they can do great again tonight. I'm not that happy with the Monday at 7:00 time because I already watch three shows then. Anytime Sunday is better because all my shows are on breaks. Thankfully I can watch the other shows on demand. Also I'm not a Neilsen family so it doesn't matter anyway. Speaking of does anyone actually know someone who is a Neilsen family. I don't know a single person.

Given Shonda Rhimes continued hatred of Heigl - even after she's apologized multiple times - I'd be really surprised.

I vaguely remember them sleeping together on the boat either this season or end of last season. I don't know how many months the 1st half was supposed to be.

Fandom and Viewer Issues: "Fan" Is Short for "Fanatic"

One of the speculations I saw was that Jennifer doesn't hang out with women more famous than her because she has jealousy issues. That is supposedly why Jennifer hangs out with the actors' wives instead of Lana. It's because Lana is more successful, and she stole the spotlight from Jennifer. I kid you not. -

That would be hilarious. Because it still wouldn't be their Lana picture, but it'd be kinda equal to the picture they're angry about now. Just Lana's spouse instead of her male coworkers'. Of course they'd just use it to label her a home wrecker or something like that. -
Did they just finally tell us that Red is her dad? I really can't tell anymore.

It was more about being tied to OSU than Texas. The other conferences were fine with OU/Texas, but they didn't want OSU. OU at the time didn't have an option for some reason they had to include OSU anywhere they went. From what I understand their regents don't care as much as they used to about that. I'm not sure about the state legal issues though.
-
They don't add enough of a tv market it's about $$$. The state of Texas is covered with four schools already. OU will be gone too if they don't add some teams. Rumors in OK is that Boren is already looking around. Boren's statement about the game decision. http://twitter.com/Mitch_Harper/status/687435058014191622/photo/1

They really need get on it. Because the more I hear David Boren talk, the more it sounds like he's ready for OU to bolt if they don't start adding teams. He already tried it once. Things between OU and Texas are supposed to be really frosty now, and it has nothing to do with the college rivalry.
