The NCAA needs to start regulating the portal. 25 players from Marshall entered due to their coach leaving after a contract dispute. Leaving Marshall unable to compete for the Sunbelt Title. I saw an article that called the portal the "wild west". Even pros are subject to contracts and free agency is regulated. Right now it seems the college portal is a free for all.

This years MVP race is tight. You've got three great potential candidates in Allen, Barkley & Goff. This week Barkley & Allen did little to help their cause with average or below outings, while Goff (in a loss totally on the defense), had a he'll of a game. I say Barkley wins OPoY and it's a toss between the other two. I wouldn't be disappointed in either. (If Cinci's defense was halfway decent, Joe would be running away w/MVP)

Milestone Moments: All The Celebrity Vitals

Age or length if time married isn't always the main factor when spouses or partners go through grief. -
The Jags just couldn't hold on, could they? Kudos to the Chiefs who came over to check on Myles Garrett when his eye was poked by a Chiefs player by accident. While Myles was on the ground in pain (he threw off his own helmet this time 😆), they stopped their huddle to check on him.

I feel for you and your poor father. My mother died at 53 and will be gone 30 years next year. The first few years my step dad was miserable . He even bought a gun. We had to get him in counseling. Then he met a lovely lady on a dating site and they were together 25 years until we had to separate them to put my step dad in a long term care facility. He’s again miserable and depressed and won’t even feed himself. Unfortunately there was nothing we could do, tho B visits him each week. hubby and I will be married 40 years next year, and I know I wouldn’t survive w/o him.- 4.3k replies

Milestone Moments: All The Celebrity Vitals

I'm no Conan fan, but that's tough to lose both your parents simultaneously. The silver lining is that after almost 60 years of marriage, one didn't have to survive long w/o the other. I'm sure that's a small comfort to the children of Dr. & Mrs. O'Brien.- 4.3k replies

And he plays both Offense and Defense! Well deserved win (Jeanty would've been a good winner, too)

OK, I'm a die hard Buckeye, but this is ridiculous... An Ohio state (not school) Representative has introduced a Bill to make flag planting during football games, a felony. Sure I don't like the flag planting - by any team, but to make this a law? No wonder some fans hate Buckeye fans.

Rocky Colavito who was in famously trades to the Tigers in 1960 which caused the 'curse of Rocky Colavito' since his best years were w/the Indians, has passed away at age 84. Maybe now we'll finally win that elusive WS.

I don't think he'd be a good college coach. Colleges coaches need to be able to connect w/their young players, and communications isn't hs strong point. Unless they talk about their 20 something g/friends. 😆

Not me. I do think Brady has loosened up a bit. No one's as bad as Romo. As a Guardians fan and a wife to someone w/Arapahoe & Cherokee bloodline, this ticks me off. How is that not racist, when the term "Indians" is a GENEALOGICAL TERM classifying a people's? OK, Native American is better, but "Indians" is certainly less racist than Braves or Chiefs.

No way can smaller market teams in the Centrals (other than maybe the Chicagos) compete w/that! Ridiculous!

Well, the Browns are officially eliminated (so are the Jets, so yay!), but I can 'console' myself with this: Cleveland has the 1) reigning NFL Coach of the Year 2) Newly minted MLB AL Manager of the Year 3) Leading candidate for NBA Coach of the Year Maybe someday these awards will end up with a championship.

And what about the team(Baltimore) that literally had an accomplice to double homicide win a ring? And the victims happened to be from the town where the alleged (not convicted) so called rapists are from? (OK one is most likely a SA-er). I hope you cheer for their losing, too.

I can't think who said this, it was on 'First Things First' yesterday, but they claim that teaching QBs to slide actually puts them in a more vulnerable position. I think if Trevor had just stayed upright, the hit wouldn't be viewed so bad. However, I don't think Demeeco should've come out in the media the way he did. Just sit him for the rest of the season. 49ers aren't going anywhere so why risk it?

Seriously I really didn't know. But it's hard to see that is a side (or was a side) of Jameis with all the love players ^ media show him. SA is NOT something to be brushed aside or classified as a mistake, however people do learn and grow. I spent one day (not a night, just a day) in jail as an adult. Luckily I was able to get my record expunged, but ever since my MIL blabbed to all hubby's siblings, I've been dead to them and they repeatedly trashed me to their children who in turn told OUR children. I couldn't even go to support hubby at his mother's funeral. So we ALL have done things we're ashamed of in the past. What's important is that we don't repeat them and that we learn from them. As @Careysaid, you can't compare the two. Two allegations in college compared to over 40 during an extended period? And I'm sorry, but we have heard about college women making things up to get back at young athletes to the point it ruined lives. Accusers shouldn't always be believed (unless there's a pattern or history) just becayse they're making an accusation. I'm hoping those allegations were just a misunderstanding and no blame on either side.

What allegations against Jamie's? EVERYONE that I've seen or heard or read (in the game or formerly in the game) loves Jamies. Over & over all I hear is how the NFL needs him and how delightful he is. Enquiring minds want to know, please.

Season Two Talk: Brand New Contestants, Same Old Bears

More details on Dave's passing. Apparently he has five children, but the youngest two mustve been underage at the time of S2, therefore not broadcast. Or they lived with their mother. His obit did say it was a sudden passing, stand he traveled to Africa as well as other places after the show for ministry. I wonder if he picked up something that damaged his health. Regardless, still so sad as he was my age. That's still fairly young. -
Whew! Pulled out that comeback win against the Celtics this time. However, if the Celtics ever get back to full strength, they're gonna be hard to beat. Of course the Cavs will hopefully have Scheur back by the next time they meet.

I don't know how dirty it actually was. It's hard for a 300lb man to stop on a dime, when play is in milliseconds. Could he have handled how he approached the tackle better? Yes. Even leading with the shoulder, there's bound to be happenstance like this one.

You MOTHER F****ERS How the FUCK do you lose to a non ranked team?!!!! That f*g CHEATED it's way to a Natty? I hate to say it, but Day spent too much time talking about the rivalry, instead of preparing for The Game.
-
Why would you think the Giants would win that game? Baker's been doing well even w/o Godwin and Evans for a few games. The defense has been suspect, as have the Refs. Surprisingly, no. Jayden's been playing with sore ribs. Right now I give the edge of RoY to Bo. Shockingly.

Not the Big Ten title. Barring any upsets that will be a rematch of OR & tOSU.

S2 winner, Dave McIntyre passed away on Friday, Nov 22nd. Cause wasn't stated on his FB page. I have a soft spot in my heart for Dave. He was my first winner (didn't watch S1 initially), he was humble, and he persevered to get the win. Condolences to his friends, children & grandchildren.
