Not the Big Ten title. Barring any upsets that will be a rematch of OR & tOSU.

Season Two Talk: Brand New Contestants, Same Old Bears
roamyn replied to Quilt Fairy's topic in Alone
S2 winner, Dave McIntyre passed away on Friday, Nov 22nd. Cause wasn't stated on his FB page. I have a soft spot in my heart for Dave. He was my first winner (didn't watch S1 initially), he was humble, and he persevered to get the win. Condolences to his friends, children & grandchildren. -
You know he'll findsomeway to fit the narrative that AL belongs, even ith 3 losses, and IN and Army don't.

Vogt definitely deserved it, but a case could be made for Quartaro. The main reason I believe Vogt won was that KC went out and got a bunch of guys this off season and Matt was the manager last season when they lost so many games. Also Vogt replaced a long time beloved HoF coach and got more out of them offensively.

The streak is over, but they made it close. Proving they could tangle w/the Champs. It had to end eventually and better to do so in this fashion than a lowly team like the Pelicans. Only four teams in the history of the NBA have started w/15 or more wins. Thatβs a great accomplishment. ππ»ππ»

Hope it's not the same sculptor/artist that designed the Dwayne Wade one. π¬

What is up with the AFC North kickers this season ? McPherson & Tucker keep missing. The Browns only know how to score FGs, and the Steelers won with only FGs today?
-
Please don't rain on my parade, remember we have the Browns, too. π’ I'm good either way. The Celtics lost to the Warriors, and the Cavs demolished the Warriors (up by 41 at Halftime last week's game). Sure it'd be nice to win one more against the Champs, but 15-0 is nothing to sneeze at. Tied for 2nd best all time.

Him and Darryl Strawberry. Such a shame the waste of talent.

I think the Warriors will eventually settle down to average. They have no big guys on their team. Fingers crossed. I don't like Draymond because of all his antics, but I listened to his podcast the other day, to hear what he had to say abt the Cavs game. He was very articulate and understandable. He was also extremely complimentary to the style the Cavs play and commented how they were thoroughly surprised at how fast the Cavs play. Color me surprised at his comments.

13-0 @Magog! Tho the closeness of this game w/o several key players on the 76ers does concern me. The Cavs are not gonna get close to the 24-0 2015-16 Warriors (and we all know who won the Finals that season π). It's just nice to enjoy the ride and be proud of a Cleveland sports team.

Wow! I can't wait to hear Finebaum's excuse now why GA should be #2 and better ranked than tOSU?

Apparently part if Dak's hamstring muscle actually pulled away from the bone. He's definitely out 4-6 weeks, minimum.

Gee no Yankee won a GG? π€ Color me surpised...not! π

Browns legend Dub Jones who played from 48-55 died Saturday age 99. He & his wife Schump (yes, Schump) had 7 children, 22 grandchildren, and 48 grt-grandchildren. I think his wife is still living. You lived a long productive life Sir. Rest In Peace now.

Apparently Pimp Vandy is gonna be on the field at half-time during this weekends S Carolina game. It's worth watching SC just for that.

Dallas traded for WR Jonathan Mingo from the Panthers. Who barely has 100 yards this season, who has never performed up to par. And they gave up a 4th for him, when hes not worth a 6th. This guy ain't gonna fix the defense, lines, or running game. What are you doing Jerry? Poor Mingo goes from one bad owner organization to another. Next stop: Cleveland or Vegas.
-
They're not going to get rid of Garrett. He's the cornerstone of the franchise. Even Schefty scoffs at that one.
-
Browns traded Za'darius Smith to the Lions for a 2025 fifth and a 2026 sixth. A good move for both teams, but I wish we'd gotten more. I want to see the Lions in the SB, and the Browns need to blow it up (except for Chubb, Garrett, Bitantonio, JOK, Njoku and Ward)

Dennis Allen has been fired by the Saints after that loss teo the Panthers yesterday. No surprise when you're team starts off hot, loses to the worst team in the NFL and is now behind that team in the division. It was just a matter of time between him and Pederson. (While the Raiders have fired their entire Offensive staff, I don't see them getting rid of Antonio Pierce. After all they stuck him with two middling QBs - at bes, and the players like him.) Apparently the players were blaming Allen for all kinds of mistakes and even tweeting about it. Dallas players are also disgruntled in their pocasts, but Jerry won't do anything about it until after the season. Even then, I wouldn't be surprised if he continued to stick with McCarthy, since he stuck wit Garrett for some really mediocre years.

The problem for Houston us that their O-Line is terrible this year, even moreso than last year. And all their receivers are getting hurt.
-
According to Rob, he knew the guy at college. Not, they were friends.

I was rooting for the Mets and I usually root for the Royals because I loved George Brett during the sad 70s-80s Indians ball (minus Bell, Thornton, Charbenaux) Freddie should win MVP if the Dodgers hold.
