  1. And that is on Alec Baldwin. Baldwin’s attorney has said he’s planning on calling A list actors to the stand as character witnesses.
  2. IMHO, Noelle, Kenneth, and Angelina suffer from religious psychosis. oh Adrian….I want to like you, but how stupid the writers have made you. You are intelligent enough to have been a broker (prior to 828)), start up,a new church and scam people (aft 828), yet you’re dumb enough to keep trusting Angelina and Eagan The best character on this show, this year is Olive. And TJ’s looking mighty fine!
  3. Exactly. They're married.. They're supposed to be partners.

LOL. I'll give you that. Nicole & Ron turning him away from the gates of Heaven, while Norm cacklea behind them would absolutely give a smile. But then he can go straight to Hell, do not pass Go.
  5. The Alberta/Saul plot actually pissed me off. Alberta had no consideration for Sam and esp Jay. She was very selfish, and Sam continually giving in to her also made me angry for Jay. He puts up with so much from the ghosts and Sam. But Nigel and Isaac and the bachelor parties were fun. I'm surprised they didn't demand Jay make a spread for the ghosts to smell. And it's always nice they remember Baxter & Jenkins, at least once a season. Tho I imagine we'll see them at the wedding, too. Ever since then, more prominent actors have stood up for him by giving him bits in their shows. I admired his courage at the time this happened. Good for him.

In other NFL criminal news, Rasheed Rice has been charged with eight felonies. Interestingly, none of them are leaving the scene of an accident with injuries, which is also a felony. My guess is that will be added later.

I wonder if he saw the love and publicity Flacco got this season, and figured he could prove himself at 46? He probably also misses the attention.
  8. Prayers for his family. THEY deserve our condolences for having to deal with the knowledge of their kin's actions all their lives and the ensuing notoriety.

I guess it is going to be the Packers & Eagles Wk 1 in Brazil. People jumped the gun at Cleveland. My brother will be bummed, his wife is Brazilian and they probably would've gone there for the game, as he's a Brownie, too.
  10. It’s ridiculous how much the writer’s are messing up the 828ers lives and just throwing one barrier aft another to their peace and happiness. Cal’s date with Violet was the best part of this episode, that and Zeke not going for another drink or taking Cal’s pills then going to an NA meeting. Oh and Eden calling Ben, “Daddy”. Otherwise we hated it. Hubby is over this show, and I almost am, but will continue to watch just to see how they wrap it up.

And the recent slathering over JJ makes me actively root for his failing, too. I don’t feel he’s comparable to Jayden, Drake or Caleb. He lucked out with a great defense and a great running back in Blake. He’s more a Will Levis, IMO. I think John is a better HC than Jim not just because of ‘TTUN’, but because the latter has a history of irascibility with his superiors (every owners & GMs, & ADs he’s ever played for). And his nonsensical press conferences where he tries to be funny and wise, and just comes off as awkward & stupid. John is more even keeled personality wise.

The Chargers? They don't even have a #2 receiver, much less a #1. They haven't done much to improve so far this off season. I'm not a Harbaugh fan (Kahki Pants, not John). I can't wait for him to fail. I like Joe Burrow, but he's injury/illness prone. The start every season in the hole, and while they have pulled themselves up by their bootstraps, last year they fell behind early in the division and w/Joe's injuries it finally caught up with them. They also lost Mixon (to the Texans) and have a disgruntled Tee Higgins in the locker room. I think the Jets are more of a challenge if they can stay healthy. Tho I'm also hoping for an Aaron Rodgers fail there, too.
  13. Yeah, I agree, but still I was worried that he’d revert to douche mode. But I actually like him now. The actor is doing a good job showing his heartbreak over Nancy and his confusion on how to react as one of the not-cool-kids, now.

I’m hoping CJ can keep Stefan calm when he doesn’t get 90% of passes tossed to him. Seems like that’s an ongoing issue w/Diggs. At the end of his tenure w/Cousins and now w/Allen. But the Texans are looking scary right now.

Too abrupt a resolution. Too formulaic. But as long as Lee Tergeson keeps showing up in flashbacks, I’ll keep watching.
  16. This whole lifeboat/sapphire/divine conscience thing is so damn confusing. I don’t think Lost was this convoluted. I was liking teen Cal, until now. That bitch killed your mother, and you let her access to Eden?! How stupid are you?! go Eagan. Turn that bitch in, and collect the reward. I have no problem with him betraying Noelle, Angelina or Adrian and profiting off it.
  17. I’m saw this last night and am intrigued. A few rough spots, but pretty good for a Pilot. However I’m having difficulty with Justin. He showed himself to be a dumb pretty boy actor at the NFL Awards when he couldn’t even read KEVIN Stefanski’s name correct, and acted stupid on stage.

I've seen in several places that it will be Cleveland, including the Plain Dealer.
  19. I don't know if this occurred to anyone else, but it's likely the Wheeler's were taking out their little girl T or T'g. Back in the 80s T or T'g was still done at night. That's the only explanation I could come up with. I started saying, "poor Steve...." then stopped myself and told hubby I couldn't believe I felt that way so soon aft S1. But we have a new a-hole in town in Billy, so I guess the transition's just easier. Everybody knew Hop was going to be late. Poor El. Poor Will. But not Poor Mike. He was being a jerk to his friends and to Max. Now you know how they - esp Lucas felt last year. So far, I think I'm gonna like Max, but I hope they get back to "Eight" from ep 1. I'm intrigued abt her and any others out there.
  20. We're currently on S5 of the original on FreeVee. And while some things are outdated, like stereotypes, ir really does hold up well. And the heart & soul remains steady throughout. It doesn't get preachy like M*A*S*H or McGyver (original).
  21. Mr. Walsh was a great character actor. He was just abt everything in the 70s & 80s. RIP, sir.
  22. As a former Series 7 certified associate, Trevor's investing was very very risky. Short selling is basically selling stock you don't currently own, but you have a specified time/date to buy it so that it can exchange hands. You're betting on the price being much lower than what you sold it at. Obviously it was sped up for tv, accounts don't fluctuate that fast up & down. Over the course of a few days, possibly. There's no way Sam & Jay should ever allow Trevor to invest in short-selling with their money, unless they can afford to lose, which right now, they can't. They need to be careful, the SEC monitors short-salea very closely to make sure people don't capitalize on insider information. That's all Sam & Jay need is the SEC, OCC, or Atty General breathing down their necks.

Apparently there was interest in at least four other teams for Justin Fields, but he rejected them. He told the Bears he wanted to go to the Steelers, once they began bleeding QBs, and that's why they made such a low trade. That makes more sense than no teams being interested in him. My guess is the teams might've included the Raiders, Broncos, maybe Jets, Commanders and Pats. Atlanta was probably all in on. Cousins and didn't make an inquiry on Fields, otherwise I can't see him passing up that talent plus going to his home state.

Actually I think it's a good move for all. Besides the fact that Russell is not a good fit personality wise. But having a more talented Fields pushes Russ, Fields might benefit from sitting down and removing all the bad habits he learned in Chicago (esp footwork), and the price is dirt cheap for the Squealers. Being that traitor hubby is a Squealers fan, even tho he lived most of his life in Browns Country,, he's glad to have Fields as the possible future.
