  1. Brad Pitt. Idris Elba. Daniel Craig. Brad Pitt. Chiwetel Ejiofor. Daniel Day Lewis. Brad Pitt. Eric Roberts. Adrian Lester. And Brad Pitt.
  2. Jessica's got that old school country look to me--I'm thinking Loretta Lynn--and I'm not sure she'd fit into today's country market. She just looks kinda tired and rode hard and put away wet when she sings. Maybe it's the heavy makeup and those red stripes in her hair, but if she wants to make it I think she needs a fresher look.
  3. Also, I loved crafty Ragnar playing drunk at the feast. Horik fell for it hook, line, and sinker. Speaking of the feast, I was laughing at them getting down to the music. I was waiting for someone to yell "Wave your hands in the air! Wave 'em like you just don't care!"
  4. Ragnar really knows how to cut a bitch. Speaking of bitches, Floki is one for scaring the bejesus out of that poor little boy. I'm glad Thorstein is alive, although I'm not sure why Floki fed the mushrooms to Rollo. The one redeeming thing he did was send his Helga and baby away from the danger. I wonder if she'll be back next season. I agree that Bjorn and Thorunn have zero chemistry. For some reason, I just don't like the girl and I think it's because she insisted on having that stupid "fight." Also, shallow as it is, she's not that pretty. I hope Bjorn can get over her but he's probably going to marry her. I hope not though. I had a feeling that Lagertha and Horik's wife would meet up later on after they sized each other up and complimented each other. Can't wait until 2015!
  5. On a shallow note, I think that Sam has really nice hair, and even though he's young, he just looks like he'll keep it all when he's older. He's cute now, but he's going to be one fine looking man when he's in his late twenties or so.
  6. I agree. I don't like listening to him because he sounds sharp or something. But he sure can play that guitar.
  7. I know the Scots eat Haggis, but do the Vikings and the English? If so, I'll bring that and watch everyone throw up.
  8. All I saw was the end of the show and Sam singing. I'm not surprised since he wasn't going to win. I wish him all the best at Berklee and hope to see him again in a few years with a CD. I'd certainly buy it. I guess Jessica goes next but at this point it really doesn't matter. I still think Caleb will win, but I don't mind anyone else winning as long as it's not Jena.
  9. When Ariana Grande came out, I was hoping that poor Sam wouldn't get a boner for all the world to see. Exactly. It's one thing to act confident, but she acts like she's some kind of huge star and it's actually kind of pitiful. Also, I'd like to add to ari333's list of Jena words: "maaaaay" instead of "meeeee." Caleb will win this thing and I'm fine with that because I just don't care.
  10. I liked Sam on both songs, surprised he carried off that Sing song. Alex did well, too. I'll grudgingly admit that Caleb has a good voice and I wouldn't be surprised at all if he fronted a band. I just don't like him. Jena is a good singer at times as well, but I don't care for her either. Maybe they should tour together as The Annoying Two. Slapout looked like an older Loretta Lynn in that red dress. She sang well, but she's just tired looking, and I'm not even sure fits in with today's country music stars. Bottom two will probably be Sam and Jessica, hoping Jessica goes home.
  11. I'm scared for Sam on that "Sing" song by Ed Sheeran. Should be interesting, or might be a trainwreck.
  12. Oh it's ok, I just remember how I was at 17 and having flashbacks, that's all. :)
  13. I'm old so I don't recognize the names of any of the songs except Caleb's, which I am not looking forward to hearing.
  14. I don't know how long Tamron's contract is for, but I think by now the producers know that they made a HUGE mistake in having her on Today. Even Al, who used to play along with her as her partner in crime, seems to have distanced himself from her. There's something manic about her, like she's not quite "right" in the head.
  15. Ha! This cracked me up because that's just the way Sisaundra comes off to me, like sometimes she's trying so hard to keep up with the young'uns and show them she's still got it. I do think she should just be herself, more natural and get rid of the stupid hair color. I cringed when Shakira said that to Kristen. I think Shakira rambles on after she runs out of constructive things to say, and then she says something stupid like that. I wish she'd stop, too.
  16. Bad haircut notwithstanding, I think he's a handsome, strapping young man. He comes from good stock, as my great aunt used to say.
  17. I think Sam's teeth look just fine but I understand that mileage may vary on that point. However, I think it's unfair to characterize him as having "neuroses" just because he's a shy 17 year old.
  18. I really hope that Billy can move on with his life. Little Mo has always annoyed me with her supposed naivete.
  19. I forgot to mention that I saw Constantine several years ago at a club in Virginia. I thoroughly enjoyed his show and I think he really is a good singer (eye-fucking notwithstanding, lol). The crowd was enthusiastic; there were many men as well as women there. This was before he went to Broadway, so I was glad that he had success there later on.
  20. I thought Zoey would be gone by now. *sigh* It will be interesting to see Cat's reaction when she finds out about the "almost" relationship between Alfie and Little Mo.
  21. While a lot of people called him a douchebag (I think I was one of a few who would actually admit that they liked him), I miss the eye-fucking of Constantine Maroulis.
  22. Sure, I understand that as well. However, it doesn't make me like Aslaug though. I can just see her now, trying to explain to Lagertha: "Well, you see, in my prophecies, I was supposed to have sex with your husband to produce the sons that you couldn't give him. You must accept the will of the gods." Lagertha: "Bullshit!"
  23. Oh I didn't mean to suggest that Ragnar, horndog that he is, wasn't equally responsible for destroying his family. I'm just saying that Aslaug contributed as well and for that reason I still don't like her or trust her.
