  1. Has no one acknowledged the marriage because no one knows? Archie is not exactly Grumpy the town crier. Their engagement was just announced, maybe the wedding is a secret?
  2. Did anyone ask about Henry and Emma's relationship either? I think that the writers aren't talking about Snow and Emma and Emma and Henry because those relationships have been fleshed out on the show. Yes, it's been a while, Snow and Emma's was Seasons 1 and 2 and Emma and Henry's in 1 and 3. Now the focus seems to be on working with her dad (which we were clamoring for last season) and her boyfriend. There's no drama between Snow and Emma because they are comfortable in their relationship at the moment. I chalk it up to it being like there not being any drama between Snow and Charming at the moment, they are comfortable in their relationship, so it's not a big deal.
  3. With the deleted scene, I liked the idea that Henry and Gold had a chat, but it just didn't work. If you put it together with other deleted scene of Snow visiting Regina and confronting her about ignoring Henry it makes more sense. Obviously there was supposed to be a whole storyline about Regina ignoring Henry and him not taking it well. I'm glad it got cut because it does seem ridiculous that he would be at the point (48 hours? into the drama) of wanting to forget Regina forever. What I find important in the scene is that Gold realizes someone has broken into his shop, which is probably why he and Belle are taking inventory when Hook and Charming show up.
  4. I doubt that Belle will find out about the dagger from anyone but Rumple and even then only under duress. What I can't figure out, is that we were told that Rumple and Hook would again be at odds, but it sure looks like they are spending a lot of time together for two people at odds. Hook supposedly finds out about the dagger and blackmails Rumple. I've thought that Hook getting his hand back was a bribe from Rumple to keep quiet. We know that Hook's hand goes away again after a talk with Rumple, so who knows what they are up to. I'm sure it's just a ploy to let Emma play BFF's with Elsa for a while without the audience having to worry about what Hook's up to. Will Emma be so clueless to what's going on with Hook though?
  5. Exactly. It seems like Rumple, Regina and or Emma are the usual suspects. I would buy Regina trying on the hat because she wants to find the writer of the Storybook. Rumple's already been killed in a midseason finale and he seems to know what the hat does, so why would he try it on? Emma seems the most likely to go after Regina (would anyone magical really go after Rumple in the hat?) We need more angst for Robin/Regina and Hook/Emma anyway right? Does anyone else wonder if the "hat" house is Maleficent's cursed house? Maybe she's in the hat? I thought the shirt looked a little different. The thing is, we don't know how many days they are covering in this half season. Emma still seems to be wearing the orange leather jacket and shirt as episode 2. We know she changes for the date but beyond that, the last few episodes could take place all in the same day. I can't quite figure out how Anna is surviving in a trunk in the ocean, but whatever.
  6. For all of their non help, the scene could've just been Hook and Charming breaking into the shop and finding the card to the necklace as easily as Belle did. They could've shown a brief scene of Rumple and Belle still back at their honeymoon house.Belle has less and less to do. Not that she ever did much in the first place. I get that the writers are in a pickle with her. You can't write out "Belle" because she's a beloved Disney character. }Since she's Rumple's wife, she has to be a regular, otherwise we'd always be wondering where she is. I think they tried to minimize her with the Neverland plot and even Zelena. But now that she and Rumple are back in the same town she has to be included at least in his drama.
  7. I willing to give Snow a little slack in the closing scene. She's been holding her baby for hours (where was the stroller?), dealing with crazy towns people and apparently Regina too, she figures out a way to get the power back on (even though that line is still down) she barely makes it into the room to find a woman in a sparkly dress being comforted by her husband. Emma was facing away from the door so how could sleep deprived Snow even realize what was happening with Emma in the length of the scene? I'm more upset with Rumple and Belle choosing to stay out of the new drama than Regina's whining. Emma's supported Rumple many times and worked hard to get him back to Belle in 3b. As thanks, the moment her life is in danger they just grouse about their honeymoon (inventory?) being interrupted. Whatever.
  8. I've been re watching the first two seasons and I can see where Emma and Snow's relationship was really a focal point of the show. Emma learned to accept her changed relationship with Mary Margaret, now Snow, now "Mom." Now the show has moved on to show her bonding with her father (who's personality she seems to have) and with her love interest. I've been thankful that we haven't heard the mantra "I have to get back to Henry" once this season or even during last season's finale. Emma and Snow don't seem upset by their relationship (especially since Emma's experience in saving her in the finale). I do think part of the distance we are seeing is the fact that it's not practical that Snow would be running around solving the latest evil crisis since she's just given birth days before. I also suspect that they are trying to give Ginny a lighter schedule since she came back from having her own baby so quickly. I like seeing Emma grow and interact with other characters, so the lack of Snow isn't bothering me, especially since Snow doesn't always seem to be a fan of Hook. In season 3, other than a few moments in Neverland, the only time Snow seemed motherly was when she was trying to push Emma into a relationship with Neal. I don't want that "motherly" version back.
  9. I liked that the townspeople wanted to skip the first 3 agenda items. There's been several meetings I've been in where I'd like to skip to the important item buried in the agenda.
  10. I see Hook driving a vintage British sports car. A convertible and something with a wooden steering wheel. Interestingly enough, I don't think the "bug" fits Emma's personality at all. I'd like to see the bug go away at some point since it was Neal's theft to begin with. I do think everyone is aware of the source of Rumple and Hook's feud. I'm sure Neal could've filled in any blanks that anyone had.
  11. Would Roland's TLK even work? He doesn't really even know Marian. I think there has to be more to Marian's frozen streak then what we saw in the movie with Anna. I'm surprised they are going so close to what happened in the movie with a minor character like Marian this early in the season.
  12. I felt sorry for Amy being stuck with everyone alone on the boat while Kat and Kate enjoyed scallops on the beach but, why did it take her so long to set the table for the birthday party? I would think the guests would've been at dinner on the beach for at least 2 hours (including travel time). Surely Amy could've set the table and done a couple of turndowns in that amount of time, yet she still seemed to be struggling with the table. I think where the crew's snobbery came in was with the weight of the passengers. There was a lot of narration about the amount of food this group ate, they even showed them requesting more food several times. New Flash, for many people, when they go on an all inclusive vacation, they like to spend that vacation drinking and eating at will. I saw their requests for snacks in between meals no different than requesting "green juice" every 10 minutes. These people weren't models, they were normal rich people who wanted to enjoy themselves and the snobby staff had an issue with it. I was so glad that Captain Lee seemed to understand the problem and admonished the staff at the end.
  13. I'm not sure I see a parallel between Hook and Elsa with the siblings angle. Elsa's sister is alive where Hook's brother has been dead for a long time. They both have lost their parents under mysterious (to the audience) circumstances. In Frozen, Elsa accidentally harms Anna with her magic, so her parents prevent the girls from playing together. After their parents die, Anna and Elsa are completely isolated from each other (basically, Elsa locks herself in her room) Anna stops by everyday for years to ask if she wants to play, but Elsa doesn't answer. Finally, when is to be crowned queen, the now grown girls renew their friendship and sister hood only for Elsa to accidentally harm someone again and everyone then discovers she's been hiding her magic. Elsa takes off from the town, builds and ice castle and Anna goes after her. Anna sacrifices herself for Elsa towards the end and that finally melts Elsa's heart and happily ever after occurs. So I didn't get the impression from the movie that Elsa needs Anna to control her powers at all times but it certainly seems that what's happening on Once.
  14. How does Hook even know that Belle is supposed to have Rumple's dagger? I do agree that Hook and Elsa get into some kind of trouble when he's supposed to be watching her and that leads to the later makeup scene between Hook and Emma. I can't get excited about this Knave character, do we need another character on the show? Especially when I think he's just there to torment Hook and Emma? I like that Operation Book Story Book requires casual clothes for Henry and Regina, that way no one will suspect a thing! Henry's scarf has been transformed into a striped shirt and Regina's just come from a yoga class.
  15. I'm pretty sure Charming and Rumple will end up playing Olaf the snowman at some point.
  16. Is it curious that now Rumple has confirmed that Hook and Emma are boyfriend and girlfriend? Considering their history, I thought it was odd that Rumple called Hook out on that little detail. I liked the Bo Peep storyline, however, while braver, Charming seemed fairly similar in his giving up with Bo Peep and encouraging Hook to give up chipping away at the ice. Hook seemed far more torn up at the possibility of losing Emma that David did. The special effects of climbing the ice wall/cave were underwhelming, but there's probably only so much they can do. I found the Snow storyline kind of silly. No one else in town could've worked on the power? Weren't Emma and David out looking for the source of the lost power? Wouldn't Snow think they were working on it? Couldn't she have left Snowflake with Henry while she went to the power plant? I feel sorry for Elsa, like I did in Frozen, but she needs some self confidence if she's going to be a ruler. She can't crumble every time her sister takes a vacation. I'm actually not completely excited for Emma and Elsa to become close friends because what happens when Elsa eventually returns to Arendelle? By far the best part of the episode for me was Captain Swan. The worry, the embraces and cuddles, the hand holding. It's so nice to see that they do take to heart the quiet moments with each other, (although that chair looked really uncomfortable). I loved that Hook was counting any time (including every crisis) he got to spend with Emma as a date because otherwise they'd never have any. Regina's acting worse than a teenage breakup. They dated for days and it's not his fault his wife is back. I can't believe that she's shutting Henry out, although this happened in Frozen too.
  17. Thinking about the Snow Queen. I could buy that she's one of Emma's foster mothers who, perhaps, just disappeared one day and that's how Emma was sent back to the orphanage one of the many times. Perhaps the Queen is banished from Arendelle or, decides to leave. My question is though, is, why would Elsa's parents be headed to Mist Haven if they knew about Elsa's aunt's powers unless they thought she was there. Wouldn't a letter have been easier? "Dear Snow Queen Sister, It appears that your niece Elsa also possesses the same powers that you have. Any advice would be greatly appreciated (we don't want to banish her). Love, Your Sister, Queen of Arendelle" I'm guessing that we'll find out that Emma did magic as a child and that's what has surprised Jen. There's been no hints beyond Henry's birth that Emma had magic prior to Storybrooke. I suspect it's been added in this season for the connection to Elsa and the Snow Queen. At this point, I'm not so excited about the new Rumple/hat storyline. I suppose the hat will make the dagger pointless so it won't matter if Belle carries it around in her purse. I would hope she'd question Rumple's new hat though. Knowing her, she'll buy one just like it, make a tiny dress out of it and wear it with really high heels. As for the Knave, I don't care about this character either, I didn't watch Wonderland, but I get the gist of his story. If we've already seen him with his True Love, is he just going to be wreaking havoc on the town until he finds his way back to her? If this is just comic relief to distract away from Hook and Emma, I'll be ticked. I don't think they are setting up a triangle but we know he interrupts their first date and Hook ends up passed out on a bench by the docks (which can't be good). Has anyone worked out a timeline for the Arendelle/Enchanted Forest yet? We know Anna meets rocker Charming which must be a few years before he and Snow meet. Elsa ends up in the jar while Anna's away (my guess would be that's Hans' doing since we've seen a photo with him holding the urn). Rumple ends up with possession of the urn, but Elsa doesn't seem to recognize him in the newspaper clipping which means he may never have opened it. Anna's missing, but her necklace is in Gold's shop, which means she was swept up in the latest curse. I also thought it was strange that at the beginning of the episode they list the barn scene as "Our World" "Present Day" does that mean it's really Oct.14? Because Frozen should be well known at that point.
  18. I just rewatched tonight and what's bothering me is that it's pretty clear that Lana and Giancarlo are not in those scenes together. It's obvious in the cell but even in the vault they are using a split screen for the shots.
  19. According to Josh's TV Guide interview it looks like it will be Charming talking to Elsa on the walkie-talkies as she and Emma trapped in the Ice Cave. Oh, well. Hopefully Hook and Emma will get a chance to chat somewhere in the episode.
  20. I thought it might actually be Disney's house. But who knows.
  21. I think we do find out in episode 3 or 4 but I think Hook probably does as well. My point is that prior to that reveal Hook makes some fairly radical changes--his hand and changing the clothes he's worn for a hundred or so years. By Emma not clarifying in that initial conversation, Hook thinks he's the problem and takes some drastic measures. I think he realizes at some point that it's not his issues keeping them apart but that Emma has her own issues that prevent more from happening. I guess I'm also not convinced that they really end up at odds. We know the Knave shows up to interrupt the date, I'm sure it's a combo of interruptions and Emma trying to deal with her magic that set the tone for their bumps in 4a. It's clear they want to be together, Emma just needs to realize they can be even in a crisis--Relationship 101.
  22. Emma never defines for Hook why she's holding back from him beyond Regina. Hook even says its more than just Regina. I can't help but wonder if this is what sets him off on his path of new clothes and whatever he's up to with Gold. I could see Hook thinking that he's not worthy of Emma and trying to find ways to change that. I wouldn't be surprised at all that Hook could find out about the fake dagger from Rumple and demand his hand back as payment so that Emma would see him as whole (not realizing of course, that Emma likes him just they way his is). I don't know, it just seems like Hook took it really personally that Emma was holding back a bit when they had just made out the night before. As for Regina fleeing town to her own refuge this smacks of Frozen and Elsa fleeing her town to hide out from everyone. So what happens, someone always goes after them. I'm guessing it could be Henry that goes after Regina because Emma will be busy freezing to death in Elsa's ice cave. I just hope 4.11 isn't Emma sailing away alone from Storybrooke to go on some quest to help Regina, like we saw Anna leave the day before her wedding in the premiere to help Elsa. One more thing about the dagger---it's really just hanging out in Belle's purse? What if her purse gets stolen? Give her the combo to the safe he hides it in, but it just seems dumb that she carries it around like that. Aaaand, the other one is pretty clunky in his jacket, how does she never notice that?
  23. Millionaires or half a millionaires take $10,000 in cash on their honeymoon and probably more even. I don't think it's out of line for Castle have made that withdrawal. The campsite is obviously a setup. Why keep the tux with him? That makes no sense. I could see food and newspaper clippings if he was hiding but the tux doesn't make any sense.
  24. First, I loved the Frozen story woven into Once. I thought it could go really badly but I'm really pleased with where they seem to be going. I thought all of the new actors did a great job. Georgina has a great presence as Elsa. I just wish we could've seen Anna and Kristoff together before she went rushing off. I thought it was pretty in character for Anna to sneak off to help Elsa too. I feel like Rumple's story died when Neal did and they are just making up things for Robert to do now (first Zelena, now a magic box). Rumple's whole motivation has been finding Bae but it puzzles me that when he did, they basically had nothing to do with each other anyway. It was good to show Rumple saying goodbye at the grave but I wish the writers would "Let It Go". Perhaps they really are thinking they should've named Snowflake something else besides Neal. After what he did to Emma (and continued to do) I'll never see him as a "hero" no matter how hard the writers try to make it so. I like the idea of a Beauty and the Beast dance scene, but I really hated it. I don't know if it was the snappy camera work, (I did like the music) but the lighting was weird as were the dance moves. Maybe if they had shot it at night? I still really hate the Belle/Rumple relationship anyway so I'm more than slightly biased. I also have no interest in Rumple's new box/hat toy. Snow/Charming and Henry didn't really have much to do in this episode and I thought the scene walking along the sidewalk was incredibly awkward. Where did Henry and Charming go? Why did Marry Margaret have to back up and change direction, couldn't Hook and Emma have stopped with MM walking forward? I didn't mind Regina--I get that she thought she had her happy ending and that she thought she deserved it because she's made a few changes. I didn't read her as angry with Emma but more just disappointed over all in the situation. At least she didn't fireball Marian. I thought the scene with Robin was one of the best of the night. It's clear he loves her as just she loves him. He didn't want an argument with her over being honorable, etc. Marian is just annoying overall, I think we're supposed to not like her, but I still can't figure out how she wasn't "snowed" and how Regina just randomly ending up in the forest. Did Regina even know there was a Snow Monster or was she just stopping by Robin's camp? Captain Swan--More please. I felt sorry for Colin a bit, it was in the high 80's when they were filming the episode and he must've been boiling in that costume. His face was completely flushed in several scenes. I like that Emma's not really ignoring him, they are chasing bad guys down together and she invited him to watch Netflix, so I'd call that progress. They literally had kissed just the night before so I'm not sure why everyone was wanting them to define their relationship so quickly. I do think there will be bumps (even made up Frozen ones) but that's the nature of the show. What has me concerned overall is that premieres and finales are so often related. We saw Anna leave her love the day before her wedding to go on an adventure to help her sister without a second thought. We saw Emma play Anna to Regina's Elsa with the door scene. I'm really concerned that they could be setting up the 3.11 finale to have Emma take off on some solo quest to help Regina. Ugh.
  25. Anyone else feel sorry for Jennice having to room with Amy after Amy's little "You don't know what you lost by not dating my brother" speech. I get that she wants to take up for her brother but Jennice had a boyfriend at the time, couldn't Amy have taken that into consideration?
