  1. Jenny is supposed to be a teacher. I would think she'd make more as a teacher than Ryan would as a bouncer at a club. I understand the child care cost element, or just wanting to stay home with the baby, but it's silly to think that Ryan can have 2nd job when he works odd hours. When he arrived at the crime scene, he'd come from work, how did he get out of the 2nd job with no notice to come to the first?
  2. I think the point is that her dress is so different from what she usually wears. This dress is sparkly, pink and princessy. Emma's usually in red or black with a leather jacket. I think the dress is supposed to convey that she's being vulnerable with him and open and it's a special occasion. As for the relationship going too fast, they've been dancing around each other for 2 seasons. They've kissed 5 times now? What are they supposed to do? Keep waiting until the week's crisis is solved and kiss again with no other dialog? The date doesn't end well, we know it gets interrupted but I'm glad they released these happy "before" photos before the audience grumbles about the poor ending. I like this scenario, according to filming spoilers though, it looks like Hook has to cut it off himself. I would hope they'd save it for future uses and not let Hook just bury it at sea. It makes more sense that the hand is bloodied from punching Will. I'm really intrigued by Anna holding the sorcerer's box. This must mean that she gets away from Rumple? It's nice to see a scene with Anna and Kristoff too. Perhaps the house is from Arendelle.
  3. But why would Rumple send the Snow Queen to take care of Emma? Why wouldn't he go himself and find Bae if there was a way to the land without magic?
  4. I'm a huge shipper of Hook and Emma, but I do agree with you about the kiss. I've watched it a few times, for science and, it seemed out of place for the conversation they had just had. I could see a comforting hug and a sweet kiss like the premiere, but an epic make out session in the middle of the street, seemed odd in this scenario. I would've rather had it in the forest scene in the premiere, but I think they've been building towards and epic moment like that in the last couple of episodes.
  5. I got the impression that the scene on the docks with hung over Hook, the bandages and Rumple, took place at the end of the episode. I think we'll see Emma ask him out, Hook ask for his hand back, and by the time they get around to the date we'll be more than halfway through the episode. We know the date doesn't end well, so I'm guessing that in the last ten minutes we see Rumple admonishing Hook at the docks and we'll see the supplies, but not Hook actually cutting it off (because ick, and we've seen him lose it before). I predict the Hook will be back by 4.05, why else have all the supplies there at the end of this episode?
  6. Thinking more about Emma's dress. It's incredibly similar (yet less formal) than the dress JMo wore in Monaco this summer for the film festival. She wore her hair up for that as well, perhaps they were inspired by that look? I do think they are going for a "Princess Emma" look for the date, when have we ever seen her look this "girly"? I would've expected another dress like in the pilot or even the leather dress from 3.12, it would fit more with Hook's persona even. I like that they are going the "fairytale" route. It is worrying that they both drastically changed their appearance for the date. I like that they put in a lot of effort, but it's a lot of change. Hook should also know better than to deal with Rumple. Perhaps he's blinded by love because eventually, Belle will find out and Rumple will come for him again.
  7. Are we supposed to be reading more into Snow not putting down baby Neal, not even letting his father hold him? She is literally clinging to Neal and won't let him go....much like she clung to the idea of Emma and Neal the past couple of seasons. I like that Charming got a glimpse into Emma's past with Neal with the breaking into the Ice Cream shoppe. Perhaps we'll get a new baby naming ceremony?
  8. We can only hope. That was Robin won't have to worry about breaking his vow. I get the impression that Marian wouldn't put up with him after hearing his confession.
  9. Thinking about SQ's response to seeing Emma. She seemed touched, but maybe, also a little afraid? Rumple knows she's there to get something from Emma it seemed. I also thought Rumple's remark about hoping for Hook's sake (sacrifice?) Emma was worth it. Throw the sorcerer's hat into the mix along with the parallel to the urn tonight. We know the urn works basically the same as the hat, it's just that the hat can accommodate more than one person. I wonder if Rumple's storyline this season is to capture every magical person in the hat and take over Storybrooke himself? With Regina and Emma out of the way, what's to stop him? Maybe Robin and Hook's love for their ladies free them from the hat?
  10. I'm calling it now. Regina and Robin will get married under an Apple tree with their sons as their best mans. Ugh.
  11. I thought that might be episode 7? Didn't they film it just a couple of weeks ago? I like the idea of it fitting her emotional state. Hook already sees her as a princess, it would be nice for her to see herself as "special" even for a little bit. I like that Hook steps it up. She does the asking, but he picks her up. His first clothing change in 100+ years, I'm sure Emma Swan is worth it.
  12. I'm not sure what I was expecting for Emma's date dress, but this wasn't it. It does look like a prom dress. JMo wears such interesting clothes in real life, I was hoping they'd go with something more edgy maybe? She looks completely princessy in this dress, which, perhaps, is the point. As for a timeline in the next episode, based on filming spoilers: Emma asks Hook out. (Which I'd like to know why he doesn't do the asking. Even though she seems to run the relationship) Hook goes back to Rumple's and finds his hand there. (Why is it in a jar? Wasn't it just in the cupboard before?) Hook goes shopping with his restored hand, buys clothes and a rose. Hook picks up Emma, with the rose and hand? They go to a fancy dinner not a Granny's Will Scarlet interrupts their dinner, Hook punches him out. Hooks wakes up drunk on the dock with Rumple standing over him. Hook take matters into his own hand(s) and the Hook is back. Boo. I'm guessing the interrupted date starts off the real Captain Swan angst of the season. I want to be excited for the date but, knowing it doesn't end well, nearly ruins it for me.
  13. Loved everything about the episode! Outlaw Queen- Well, Marian's officially on ice, or is ice? Way to wait until the last possible second, Regina. Why did Henry have to fetch a box? Regina's own heart was carried around in a bag last season. I kinda thought Marian would thaw once her heart was removed. Why does the Snow Queen have it out for Marian anyway? It seemed random. Snow, just PUT.THE.BABY.DOWN! Has Charming even gotten to hold him yet? I wonder what David was thinking when Emma showed off her thief skills, perhaps, "Great, I just named my kid after a guy who taught my daughter breaking and entering.!?" Will Scarlet--I didn't watch Wonderland, so I'm not terribly impressed so far. He seems kind of funny? I'm guessing he's meant to just distract us for now? IDK Elsa and Kristoff- Awesome in laws. I'm not quite sure why Elsa didn't freeze Hans before he pulled the sword on Kristoff, but oh well. Poor innocent Elsa clearly doesn't see that SQ is evil. Snow Queen--I haven't really watched Elizabeth Mitchell in anything else, but she seems awesome. She has a sweet way about her which should keep people confused for a while. Hook-- This is the second episode this season where we've heard what a good survivor he is. I suppose we should be glad he doesn't eat ice cream? It sure looks like Rumple and the Ice Queen are after him. "I hope Miss Swan is worth it" wouldn't Rumple know? He can see into the future, right? I'm worried for Hook, but on the other hand, he is a survivor. I also enjoyed Elsa telling him what's really going on with Emma, because normally he's quite perceptive, except in this case. Emma- Awesome use of magic, it's nice to see that her magic is incredibly powerful when she gets to use it. By the way, Emma's superpower failed again. Maybe it's because Hook was in the room? Or, maybe it only works on Hook? Captain Swan-- What a kiss! What honesty! I love that she told him she was afraid of losing him. I thought it was pretty evident in the mayor's office when she saw what happened to Marian. She was immediately afraid that could happen to Hook. Keep going you two crazy kids!
  14. So true, so true. If only Neal hadn't died, we could've seen ElsaFire! I'm pretty sure she would've Frozen him upon meeting him though.
  15. In the interview from NY Comic Con, Adam or Eddy said that Emma is supposed to bring back all of the happy endings, including Regina's. I'm guessing this means that Regina gets her happy ending before Emma? Great. Because I'm sure Regina deserves to have hers before the woman who's life she ruined for 28 + years. I just don't care about Robin and Regina. I feel like they progressed waaaay too fast. They didn't like each other in the missing year but the moment they are alone at Zelena's house they have a moment? Then Regina is able to know for sure it's real because he's got the tattoo? Yet, they refuse to confirm Hook and Emma are true love even though they are on a path of epic adventure and make each other better. At least Robin tried to kiss Marian. The story of Robin and Marian is epic though, it's a shame that Robin's really the Evil Queen's true love. When Hook gets his hand back, and then loses it again, shouldn't that be a big discussion between he and Emma? I hope they don't brush (or I guess sweep in this case) it under the rug like it's no big deal. I do like that the writers are saying that everything Rumple is doing right now, is for Rumple. He's basically not learned anything by losing Neal (yet another reason why Neal isn't a hero).
  16. I thought that Charming did know about some of his naval past. He knows about Liam and the circumstances of his death. Emma knows as well because David told her. I don't think Charming's "Intention" talk was meant to be taken badly, or that he really disapproved of Killian. I think it was his lame attempt at parenting and Hook saw right through that. I like that Emma takes him as he is. The past doesn't matter, she's living in the moment with him. Charming likes him, Snow is wary, and Henry thinks he's cool, it's probably the closest thing he's had to being apart of a family in a long time. Wouldn't that be a terribly depressing date though? Hook: My parents abandoned me. Emma: Mine too. Hook: My brother died because of Peter Pan Emma: My ex boyfriend because of Peter Pan Hook: Should we order dessert? Emma: Let's just go home and cry. I'd like to see them talk about these issues but maybe more gradually as it fits in to various episodes. I just think it makes the idea of a date talking about this stuff, depressing.
  17. I don't think the writers intended for Emma and Bae to be endgame. I think the plan was always to set her up with Hook, hence the Naval Officer doll in her nursery and the fact that they stated they wanted Hook on the show in season 1 but it took awhile to get the rights. I do think they never quite knew what to do with the Emma/Neal relationship beyond getting her pregnant and abandoning her. It appears that they didn't realize how bad it would look for a grown man to get a teenager pregnant and let her go to jail for a crime he committed. Even in Manhattan you have Neal telling her that he would've never come near her if he'd known who she was. He even asked her to pretend like she didn't find him. He rejected her over and over until he realized Henry was in the picture, but again he decided he wanted her only after his fiancée shot him and turned out to be evil. I feel like they tried to spend whatever time Neal had in Season 3 making up for his past mistakes, but the leap to "hero" was too much for me. It's great that he went after Henry and wanted them to be reunited after the curse but it also showed he hadn't learned much in 100 years by still wanting to take the easy way out instead of considering the consequences (his potential death) of his actions.
  18. What we need to know is where in time the Snow Queen was freed from the urn and how long Elsa was in the urn. It must've taken place prior to Snow Falls and some how SQ escaped the first curse. Perhaps she was just outside of the curse or in the Coradome or she had her own Snowglobedome? Rumple can supposedly see the future, perhaps he knew that SQ and Emma would intersect at some point? Perhaps he's been stopping in for ice cream since he's been freed and they got to chatting? I'm sure it ticked Rumple off to have Hook call his bluff with the dagger. Hook's quite perceptive, isn't he? I can only imagine the revenge he'll want on him for that. I still can't figure out how Hook will work with Rumple with Emma's blessing. If she's that torn to pieces over possibly losing him after one icicle incident, how could she think it's a good idea for them to work together? Do we know why SQ freezes Marian's heart? It seems kinda random. I also think that just removing Marian's heart wouldn't work because the heart would still be frozen. I'm not surprised that one of Emma's hesitations (because there has to be more to it) about being in a relationship with Hook is that he could possibly die. I guess this confirms that Walsh actually died? Considering Emma and Neal hadn't been a couple for 11 years, I'm not sure why his death has bearing on whether future suitors would die. And Graham, poor Graham. They weren't in a relationship! They had 1 kiss and then he keeled over because Regina was jealous. I get that she had feelings for him, but they only knew each other for a short period of time and shared one kiss--she was never "with" him.
  19. https://twitter.com/livelongandgeek A live blogger at the event with several screen caps of the episode.
  20. I do think that Snow and Charming really have no idea of the past that Neal and Emma shared beyond knowing they were no longer together (and hadn't been for a long time) and the fact that Henry is there child but was given up for adoption. Why is this? I don't know, it's an interesting story but perhaps too painful for Emma to share or maybe there was never time? As for the "talk" with Hook...Charming can see (heck, the whole town can see) that Hook and Emma are starting something and it could be serious. I like that Charming is taking it seriously enough to talk with Hook about it. I thought Hook's response was completely appropriate and also demonstrated to the audience that he is, in fact, still in it for the long haul.
  21. Wouldn't that be a lightening fast pregnancy? Maybe the Frozen storyline wraps up in episode 9 and we have 2 transitional episodes before the hiatus? The hat could fill those 2 episodes, but since it's such an iconic thing, would they really limit it's feature time to just 2?
  22. It boggles my mind that Adam and Eddy thought it was a good idea to name Snowflake, Neal. To me, (and I think Emma) he wasn't redeemable, even in his death. Snow knew that he was a bad guy, I get that he behaved around her and I think he did want to be Henry's dad once he found out about him. But, more than once with, I think the most important being in "Manhattan" when he said to Emma, if he had known who she was he would've never come near her. That's not love, he might as well of told her she was nothing to him. He only wanted Emma back when it meant he wouldn't get to be with Henry all the time. I get that the cast and crew loved working with MRJ, and that's great. I look at Neal 2.0 as a tribute to MRJ vs. Baelfire. But now Emma is forever saddled with a brother named "Neal." A constant reminder beyond Henry, for no apparent reason other than they liked MRJ and hated to lose him as a cast member. The thing is, they didn't have to lose him. We could've seen them in relationships with other people while co-parenting Henry together with Regina. It could've been really interesting. Neal is no hero, he made a dumb, rash decision to bring his dad back at any price only for him to be kidnapped by Zelena. Sure, he sent the note to Hook but they could've had anyone else do that. Emma didn't get rid of Zelena anyway, that was Rumple's doing.
  23. I can't imagine there would be many volunteers for #savehenrypart127 except for maybe the dwarves. I would totally watch them trying to navigate the hat and secretly rescue Henry. Grumpy: "Hey Everybody, I see him, Henry's hiding right over here!" Henry: **rolls eyes**...... I don't know that Hook is magical, but I think there's more to him than we know. He lived for years in Neverland not aging and then again in the 28 year curse. If he's a similar age to Rumple you think his body would have some kind of magic (not that kind) to be able to withstand not aging all those years. Henry seems to be the only one aging anyway.
  24. Well crap. Why would Hook be doing anything with Rumple by choice? They hate each other the most and I can't believe that Emma would ask Hook to work with Rumple. We saw the disdain that Belle and Hook had for each other in 3b when he was told to protect her. So whatever they are up to can't be good. Even with the possibility of Hook controlling Rumple he has to know this can't turn out well. My guess is that Hook doesn't know what the hat does or Rumple's convinced him that this is the way to eliminate the Snow Queen. Instead of the Snow Queen ending up in the hat, Emma does. Unfortunately, Hook won't be able to go after her this time. Perhaps Rumple even intends to put Emma in the hat, he didn't seem to want to help her in the ice cave. Perhaps he needs the "Savior" out of the way in his quest for magical domination. I really hope we don't go into 4b with Emma stuck in the hat and Hook on a quest to find her. Ugh. I'm so not excited about the Knave's role. It seems he is just there to interrupt Hook and Emma's alone time by having her arrest him all the time? What fun. Not.
