Martin who's singing wrote this song when his alcoholism was still in full swing. He had accepted that it was probably what he was going to die from. That's why he's so emotional singing it. He didn't get sober until a few years later though.

I wish JC's career had taken off. I liked him better than JT.

The Levi stuff finally made it here I see. I kept meaning to post about it then I'd forget to. I never really paid attention to his offscreen behavior until the news that he and his ex-wife were getting a divorce. They had gotten married in June of 2014 and she filed for divorce the following year in April. I guess it was the filing where she said the date of separation was Dec. of 2014. I had to look at her wiki to see which years it all happened in. Something felt really weird there because of the good guy image he still had at the time. The weirdness feeling was about him and not her though. Then news about the post he made on social media criticizing one of the companies who provided covid vaccines got called out. That's when I realized that weird feeling I got about him wasn't wrong. I never saw the last season of CHUCK. My intention to do so in the future got scrapped after that tweet. Someone upthread said that the finale sucked which I have no trouble believing. I was just reading his wiki too and saw that he's mentioned Jordan Peterson in a positive way at least once. When people mention him alarm bells usually go off in my head. What Peterson has said about women is disgusting, revolting, sexist and whatever other words can be used to describe someone like him. What's sad and potentially dangerous is how many men take Peterson and his views seriously.

That line about not being able to speak German.....🤣 ---- The "memories" thing on FB that reminds people of posts they made on that same day in years past has had me pretty bummed for almost a week. I've been reminded of a few posts I made in Oct. of 2015 which were about my Mom when she was on hospice. They made me start thinking about the family I let back into my life after she died. They ended up trying to suggest that I make contact with a family member I haven't seen or spoken to since 1992 for reasons. I had to essentially ghost them on FB to get the chaos they were causing out of my life. It just sucks when people take advantage of others especially family when they know someone is in a vulnerable position.

My Nana would talk about how much she didn't like my Grandfather's Mom. Apparently she would speak in German to my Grandfather and his Dad deliberately knowing my Nana didn't speak the language. My Nana said she got stern and told her she'd appreciate if she spoke in English from then on. It stopped after that.

She and Michelle Stafford especially together were two of the biggest scenery chewers on Y&R. I only watch occasionally now and sadly Michelle is still there chomping away.... -
