I've never been a regular viewer of SYTYCD. During the times I watched in an attempt to become one when Nigel was there as a judge he'd make me so uncomfortable as a viewer. They got rid of one creeper in him then went on to hire Matthew Morrison who gives off those same vibes.

I was looking back in this thread and saw this Vanessa Williams cover of this song. I first became aware of it because it was on Amy Grant's House of Love album.

I thought he kind of looked like the guy in some of the retro Juan Valdez Colombian Coffee commercials...

I was watching Michael McDonald videos and this was in the recommendation list to the right. ***** This is the audio from one of the concerts on that tour which is a little over two hours. I listened to a little bit so far and will probably save the rest for tomorrow...

I noticed Dave turned kind of red when Darlene thanked him for helping her music career get off the ground. It shouldn't have taken someone who played a popular character on the show dying to spur the chance of this actually happening. I guess with Andre's death it provided proof in regards to how many people would like the chance to watch this show again without having to find other avenues.

This has been one of my favorite music videos since I came across it on YouTube years ago. It looks even better in HD. I love how older videos can be upscaled now to where they look as good or better than when they were first introduced.

What happened with your Mom? I scrolled back too far and saw this last post you made saying you decided go through with hitting the send button. Seeing it got me to wondering about you and her.

I just read a couple articles about the recent Dr. Who episodes to see what the "bi-generation" thing was all about. I feel for newest actor to portray the Dr. because the way he got introduced read like it was catering to a particular group people who didn't deserve to be. That's what I got from the way that everything happened was described. Even though I liked Matt Smith's run as the Dr. for the most part I was kind of worn out emotionally by the end in a way that made it hard to continue watching. I saw a few of Capaldi's episodes with the last one being Clara's exit and haven't felt like picking it up again since.

I've been in that kind of mood for quite awhile now. I keep seeing 90's nostalgia pages and public groups on my Facebook feed. Depending on what's posted I remember things I had forgotten or something makes me times in my life that I wish I could go back to. The other day I saw a post about Trapper Keepers which are apparently being sold in stores again (not sure if they ever stopped actually) which made me think of the fun folders I used to like to get to put inside them while back to school shopping with my Mom. I loved Lisa Frank stuff especially the big or little cat themed ones. I started feeling nostalgic a lot more after turning 40 I think due to the realization of how old I was, that I made it to that age and feeling like I haven't been alive that long. It doesn't feel like those days I'm reminded of were so long ago. One of my ongoing peeves has been about what my life may have been like had more been known about higher functioning autism when I was young especially how different some signs of it are in girls/women.

My Mom's birthday was Dec. 13th and she loved Michael McDonald. VH1 and MTV were on a lot of the time when I was little so this was one of my favorite videos/song even then. Seeing it on YT since my Mom died always makes me happy and sad at the same time. I ended up becoming a fan of his too.

This was recommended to me on YT a couple weeks ago and again tonight. I finally listened to it again after not hearing it in so long that I can't remember....

That was my favorite video of Paula's as a kid. I would get excited when I'd catch it on MTV. I can't remember what kind of music VH1 was airing at the time. I also wanted that outfit pretty badly too....😄
