But that isn't really being a single mom. I spent every other weekend, weeks at a time in the summer, and alternate holidays at my dad's house and I had a room there stocked with clothes and toys and whatever else I needed. But I didn't live with him. I lived with my mom who was a single mom. She took care of my daily needs. She juggled my schedule and working. She took care of me when I was sick. Etc. I think Erika would have far less trouble if she stopped trying to identify as a single mom on the show unless, I guess, she's just referring to the few short months she actually had her kid before moving to LA.

I don't want to disagree with anyone on here that gave some pretty convincing diagnoses, but Kelsie is a reiki master and she said he just needs to put himself first more. When Scheana and Roooooooob were talking about selling Shay's shit on Divorce Closet a couple episodes back I figured it was just some shitty app. Little did I know it was their shitty app! I almost fell off my couch laughing.

I was so annoyed by everything else that I forgot to mention that Kristin pulling a face in the background while FI rages out is my everything. The editing might be a little off on it though because Schwartz seems to magically teleport during the scene, but I love it so much I'm going to ignore that. I also loved that Kristin's smile fades the second FI walks into the apartment.

S08.E14: Heaven Knows
yourmomiseasy replied to KungFuBunny's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
We always used to get half and half green tea and lemonade at lunch at Panera and call it a Tiger Woods. We did it often enough that all the cashiers knew what it was. My mom just told me she got an evine credit card so she could get free shipping on sweaters. So you're not alone. Erika brought receipts to WWHL. She said she has Spanish in her 23 and me results and how many generations back it is coincides with when she was a Spanish prince. I'm not sure if she's saying she's her own ancestor or if she doesn't understand how DNA works. I laughed so hard at this and wondered if America's Next Top Model reruns are his only cultural reference point. I was super turned off by Kyle's psychic using Lisa's recent loss as a way to get an "accurate" read. Tasteless grifter. -
My sister gave me the flu that was going around a couple of months ago. I saw her at dinner, she had to rush home because she was sick, and was sick within 6 hours.

Stassi Schroeder: Don't Fuck With Her Birthday
yourmomiseasy replied to Lisin's topic in Vanderpump Rules
Not just solitary vacation, but a solitary vacation to Amsterdam. I took one of those and almost ended up in the hospital and I'm way more respectable than anyone that is even VPR adjacent. -
After listening to the podcast I have come to the conclusion that Jeremy is, above all else, dumb. He just doesn't sound very intelligent when he talks. He's not eloquent and his thoughts do not seemed very nuanced. He might be the dumbest one on VPR. I think he also has issues. He's 24 or 25 and twice divorced. He said he was with the woman in the DV case for 4 years (his first marriage). The DV case was when he was 18. Either he started with the older woman from the DV case before he was 18 or he gets married and divorced really quickly. Or both. But I think maybe he started up with her when he was ~15 or 16 because it sounded like they moved to FL and stayed together for a year after the DV arrest. He says he felt manipulated into the relationship in his first marriage and made it sound like the DV stuff was all her being jealous and crazy. Not knowing the facts, I could give him the benefit of the doubt and believe it possible it might have gone down that way, especially if the relationship started when he was 15. However, it still sounds like he might have a penchant for chaotic relationships. Did The Amazing Ariana talk about having a troublesome childhood? I kind of remember something about their dad dying, but not sure if I'm mistaken, and maybe there was more? Or maybe it was just the crazy relationship with someone old enough to be his parent at such a young age that messed him up. I do think that he did not mean to be creepy. But most creeps don't. He still doesn't seem to understand that he doesn't have a right to touch a woman whenever he wants even if it's just for shits and giggles and not for sex or violence. It also bothers me that the podcast repeatedly says "it was just a hug." I saw the video. It was not just a hug. She was trying to walk away and he stopped her from doing so by pulling her back to him and wrapping himself around her. And even if it was just a hug, it was still unwanted. It was also said if he was being creepy why didn't she tell him at the time, why did she wait a year and bring it up on TV. But in my experience, if someone is just being kind of creepy you usually don't go "hey! you're a creepster!", you just try to get yourself out of the situation without ruffling any feathers, especially if nothing dangerous is happening because you know if you do, something like the scene with FI in Katie's apartment is going to happen. Been there, done that, x1000. I don't think Stassi and Kristin were looking for a reason to bring it up, they only did so because they were concerned for Billie and they seemed uncomfortable talking about it.

Billie's vocal fry will never top Raquel's. I'm glad that Raquel is basically a mute because I am inches away from blind rage every single time she talks. So Stassi needs to smile more and the whole tumultuous fight and make-up situation isn't how 99% of DV cases go. Okay, Jeremy. The getting back together and dropping charges thing is so prevalent but I just do not have the energy for a well thought out rant and I know I'd mainly be preaching to the choir anyway. It's probably the words I chose to use. There may have been a slut or dick or fuck in there or it's possible I started the sentence with um ;-) Women being called a slut etc. for the most basic of normal human sexual behavior is more annoying to me than Raquel's vocal fry.

I guess maybe it depends on where you are. I'm in LA and fruit rats/roof rats are a problem in California. Everyone I know with a citrus tree has a problem with rats eating the fruit. The thorns are less bad than bougainvillea thorns, but still suck.
-
If it makes you feel better, lemon trees have giant thorns and will attract fruit rats to your yard.

It's hilarious how many of us were banned. I always assume repeated misspellings that are not some kind of nickname are autocorrect. Just like I almost never mean ducking ads.
-
Meh. I got banned from TWOP for saying slut shaming a married woman for blowing her husband was wrong.

This.

There are decent guys in LA. They just might not be mactors or SUR bartenders.

Katie did just fine kicking FI's ass out on her own,. I'm not sure what she actually needs Schwartz for and/or why she keeps him around thb. He's useless. He's cute and can be charming, but that only goes so far.
-
I remember hearing about it, but I didn't listen to the podcast until today and until I did that, it seemed like much ado over nothing. But after listening, FI was totally out of line. James sounds like a voice of reason compared to him -- which is a sure sign he needs to slow his roll.
-
I'll definitely check it out. I used to find him funny but then it just started seeming like it was the same shit over and over again and a maybe too mean spirited for me (which is saying a lot). ;-( is what I look like with my resting bitch face when the antics on Bravo make my eye twitch.

FI went on a pretty gross tirade about Stassi's little brother on a podcast last year. There's over 5 minutes of a grown man making fun of how a little kid talks, casting aspersions on his education/intelligence, talking shit about where he is in life, and mentioning wanting to "drop kick him off the fucking planet". It's not the same thing, but given that Nikolai is in elementary school and Tom is at least chronologically an adult, he was going in pretty hard. I don't recall Stassi barging in anywhere and yelling vague threats at FI over it. It starts about an hour and three minutes in.

That's a really good point re: the DV. Trans-women are more likely to face DV than any other group (I think I stated that fact correctly), so it is really scary to see her starting a relationship with someone that has an arrest record like Jeremy's. His arrests were several years ago when he was just 18, so hopefully he has grown and changed, but it is still worrisome given the other stat and how good some abusers are at honing in on victims. I 100% do not have the proper SJW lingo down, so I was worried about being inadvertently offensive by using the wrong words or just being too sweeping in generalizations. ETA: I'll have to check the Vulture recap out. I normally avoid like the plague because I loathe Brian Moylan and do not find him to be witty or funny for the most part, which seems to make me a party of one. I will admit he does have some occasional gems though.

I've been thinking about it and decided that maybe Billie's retelling of Stassi and Kristin's warning to Lala and Scheena wasn't purposefully misrepresenting the intent of the message in order to stir the pot and start yet another fight between the witches and the "cool girls". I'm going to hit on some potentially loaded subjects and I'm probably going to use the wrong language somewhere in this and fuck it up and piss someone off, bear with me and know that is not my intention to be disrespectful or upset anyone. As a woman, I understood the nuances of what Stassi and Kristin were saying immediately. The conversation was familiar to me. It's one I've participated in numerous times. I understood that it came from a place of looking out for Billie and not from malice towards Jeremy. Growing up as a female you get used to dealing with creeps. You get used to warning and being warned about them. Sadly, it is just part of being a woman. There's a shorthand and a nuance to the conversation that comes from the shared experience of our lives and dealing with this shit on the regular from a young age. Billie, I'm sure, has had to deal with a lot of shit - not being trans, it isn't an experience I share with her, so I just can't even imagine what she has dealt with. However, she grew up male on the outside, so while she has dealt with shit, it wasn't the same shit as someone growing up female in our society. She doesn't have the same experience and socialization and wasn't familiar with the conversation being had and the nuances of it. She's not familiar with the same alarm bells women have to have and listen to and what life has taught us from an early age, just as I probably wouldn't be as in-tune with things a transwoman has to worry about. So she took the conversation more at face value rather than understanding what was really being said and interpreted it that way.

S08.E13: Crying Shame
yourmomiseasy replied to KungFuBunny's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
She is probably still trying to get permission from the boss to make any changes. Without the second sentence, given what was shown in the episode, I'd think the first sentence actually refers to Erika Jayne's music "career." So it was another yawn worthy episode of Rich Ladies Go Out To Eat and Fight Over Nothing. That is all they do anymore. I need to start keeping count of how many different restaurants there are in each episode. -
Lala Kent: Call her a whore, but don't you dare call her Basic!

From an article about the JLaw feud. I imagine there's some version of this going on for most of what she posts on SM, whether it be her agent or Herman or someone else advising her to delete. -

I think it is more likely poor impulse control and regrets. -
I guess in theory Madison could be a unisex name, but Marie is kind of a stretch.
