AMC is so low. They really treat people like crap if they challenge them or just if they're done with them. Seriously wrong. Burning questions. 1. Carol was never a pacifist. 2. WTF? lol. SO for 7 and a half years, she did nothing about any of them, even after they murdered people, now she suddenly sets one on fire. I'm laughing because I said she would do that to a bitch just yesterday. WAT? Ridiculous. That plucky, precocious 10yo! She's not falling for a powerful warlord's bullshit!! Judith's too smart for that guy that tried to kill her brother! My God, this is every kind of terrible.

This is why I've always appreciated Carol's character. She is wily, and uses her smallness and apparent weakness to fake people out. She's ruthless in attitude, and savage in execution, but they don't have her unrealistically beating people up. She will light you on fire, though. lol

I'm all for it. Not the Jadis part, gross. But I'm down for a Rick Grimes movie adventure, because it might actually be about Rick Grimes and not a bloated cast of random group people. Maybe.

That actually kind of makes sense. It would have made sense to see Carl if he died and was literally seeing Carl while passing into the afterlife. But he passed into a helicopter.

I think Carl was excluded for behind the scenes reasons, but after thinking about it some more...Rick was wrestling with his deepest guilt in the scenes with Shane and Hershel. Shane for obvious reasons, and to Hershel he apologized for his death, and Beth AND Glenn's, so they did kind of include it there, the weight Rick carried about feeling responsible for all of it. And I guess Sonequa was available, and they threw her in there for the overarching, hey we all do our part for as long as it lasts for the ones who go on. Also, everybody dies, lulz. Except Rick, apparently. I am interested in seeing Steven's new movie, Burning. Too bad he didn't get to make that last WD appearance to get some attention toward his film.

I think in this case, he was sure he was dying anyway from his injury. So might as well go up in a ball of fire than turn or be shot in the head.

I'm not saying she couldn't EVER get a shot off, but the idea of it being her sidearm is insane. There are a lot of posts about it on the episode thread, somebody said it would weigh 3 to 4 pounds loaded. I'm a small adult with small hands and it's really hard to comfortably hold a pistol and not overextend to reach and control the trigger. A Colt Python is even bigger. They don't call it a hand cannon for nothing. lol

I think the Variety article specifically mentioned them being on AMC. I agree about Danai, and maybe this movie package is a grand plan to keep A listers involved in TWD world after leaving the show. So Danai could quit the series but appear in a couple of films with Andy. I mean, I would watch that. I'm sick of the show itself, but to bring back the faves in what's basically a two hour special would be good. And the series regulars like Daryl could also be in them. It might actually be a good idea. lol What I am currently irritated about is that they have pretty much played out a very long Dumpstergate on us. When it "leaked" that Andy was leaving the show, I thought maybe that was due to someone (even Andy himself) being pissed about Chandler and the direction of the show, and once it was out they made the best of that situation. Now it seems pretty clear that the show leaked it and spent all this time building up all this nonsense about Andy quitting, just to pull this SURPRISE! WE'RE MAKING MOVIES NOW on the audience. So, I hate them, and their show, and I especially hate this Judith nonsense. But I will probably watch a Rick Grimes movie. I want to know how he could be kept away from his family for six years.

Not that a 10yo could do it anyway.

They didn't even have him give a clip in all the farewells to Andy. I think there is some super bad blood between AMC and him.

I really can't believe that they cop out again and just skip ahead by YEARS so there's no aftermath from Rick's "death." This show pays all this lipservice to how important the characters are and then just whoooosh, forget all about them.

When the bridge blew up, I thought that maybe they punked us and the helicopter ending wasn't going to happen, because it was such a good FINISH. But, no, the spoilers were right, again. Oh, well. I only watched this once in a while anymore, y'all know how furious I was about Carl. Now that we've actually seen Judith and her Elmo voice and her acting, not to mention the silly overacting of the new people in the clearing with the zombies, I have zero interest in this new version of the show. I sure did enjoy the Shane and Hershel scenes and memories of the past. But the future looks like a real bore.

I really liked Rick's dreams and flashbacks and encounters with lost comrades. I felt like it was such a good reminder of what Rick endured, how much terror and suffering and doubt, but he powered through for his loved ones. And in a way it would be a relief to finally die. He fought the good fight. Then he didn't die. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ What a way to water down everything in the episode.

I loved the Shane and Hershel parts, I FF through the Negan crap. I will just end it in my head when the bridge blew up, and Daryl walked away into the woods. Love to all you guys on this board. <blowing kisses>
