They completely messed up the entire premise of the show by changing the format and rushing through to the reveal and bringing looks into the equation so quickly. There is very little invested between the couples, so someone’s looks are going to be front and center. I’m more interested in couples falling in love blind, and then seeing if they become more attractive having known them, especially if they’re not someone’s usual type. This feels like an Mtv version now and not what made it so popular to begin with.

Whatever arrangement she and her husband have doesn’t seem to be working anymore. The boating activity was the best part of the show and really season for me. Shannon was in her element and she and John look really happy together. His story about his dad was just heartbreaking and when he teared up, I did too. Of course, Terry had to get his story out there and mention how successful he is because his stepdad was an asshole. He seriously needs to shut his pie hole and get the nose trimmed off a good three inches.

I loved the book, so fingers crossed, this is also enjoyable!

I think Chris is trying to force her hand to end it and admit she’s not going to try. I bet Chris will become less picky about looks when he sees what “pretty” will get you, though after the show he’ll probably be in high demand.

I would be curious how Chris would react to being married to an overweight girl with an objectionable feature he requested not to be matched with. I know he’d be a gentlemen but I do wonder if he’d give it a chance.

Kelly may have volunteered at the soup kitchen with her daughter on other occasions as that weren’t filmed and hopefully it encouraged others to do it as well.

I have to wonder how much of the sweat lodge collapse was overdramatized by Noella. Of course, it would HAVE to be Noella who “collapses” in the sweat lodge. What does Olajuwon do for a living? The way he was hounding Katina at the gym, he was like a drill sergeant or hard core personal trainer. I would seriously join a different gym than him after that. Also, Alyssa is an ugly crier. I love how the camera people film her in the most unflattering light.
