I so wanted one them to drink and smile with a piece of gold stuck on their tooth like parsley or something lol What's the point of that? Does it come out the same way it goes in?- 193 replies

That's how you can tell Sutton and Dorit aren't friends at all. Because if I go to a party at a friends house, ill go back where I hear the kids and say Hi. Talk to whomever is in the yard. I wouldn't sit on a chair inside, hearing the party, but waiting to be properly welcomed. That was strange to me. And I agree about the Garcelle scene asking about alcohol, her tone was a bit 'uh oh are you drinking?' She might have meant it that way, but it didn't sound like a simple inquiry if there Was alcohol being served, but that Sutton, in particular, had alcohol in her drink. So, yea I think we're missing a scene there. At any rate, I'm over Angry Dorito. She's making me feel bad for Kyle. And I still think she doesn't deserve to be on this show, Miss I Only Care About Me! but Erika eating her hotdog and slamming her drink with eyes back and forth watching the drama was pretty funny. Ugh Dorit has made Bizarro World happen for me, too lol -

Seriously! She didn't crack a smile the entire time, even when she saw how uncomfortable she was making everyone. If you joke like that, you at least laugh a little , you don't keep glaring at the person saying, 'Oh, I think you Do! [owe me]!". That was Bizarre! She talked about calling PJ's other side 'the Monster.' I think we're seeing Doritos 'other side' and its Creepy - said in Scary Island Kelly's voice, because I think Dorit was eating her jelly beans.- 193 replies

Agreed, and it seemed Kyle (& maybe Garcelle) was going to explain to Boz that there was history there, but Dorit derailed the conversation by telling Kyle, "I dont know whats going on with you" Another copycat of Kyle's, 'I dont even recognize you at this point' at Sutton's surreal party. What's next? Fake cancer and casseroles?- 193 replies

Which is why I wish they would both STFU about it already. Dorit was quite pushy with Kyle, “Do you want a divorce? Do you want to reconcile?” Without letting Kyle answer. I’m sure it’d be her usual word soup of a non-answer but Dorit is really feeling herself this season. She Needs this gig so bad, she’s just coming into every scene like she’s been shot out of a cannon. Too bad she’s not entertaining, interesting, or charismatic enough to avoid looking like an unhinged shrieking harpy.- 193 replies

Yes! That was both terrifying and hilarious. And they were eating pieces of it with the funniest, sad, confused, shell shocked looks on their faces. Brilliant. Its funny how the innies are basically who these people really were before Life and other people happened to them.

It’s infuriating that the victims have to relive this horror every 2 years! I understand the reasoning behind parole, but it’s a cruel system that forces people to relive the most painful times of their life over And over just to make sure the perpetrator actually serves the sentence they Earned through their crimes. What’s the point-to see if the victims cry hard enough? To see if their pain is still horrible enough? If they don’t cry, does the board assume they’d be ok with the criminal being released? It’s awful. And It’s unfortunate, but a lot of women are sexually abused. A lot have mental issues. It’s never an excuse to harm others. Especially as an adult. It’s your choice to use your trauma as motivation to heal and do better, or an excuse to do worse. She made her choice and saved her Own life.

Is this writer watching the same show we are? Also, very confused. They have footage of Jennifer involved in drama and they're Not airing it?!
-
Yes, where were her parents in all this? Or were they relieved to be free of her and got out of dodge? No doubt she was behind getting full custody of those kids. And she can tell the most incredible lies convincingly. They’ve probably dealt with that their whole lives and are happy she’s someone else’s problem for a change. Still, lots of holes in her back story.

Bonus is longer scene with Dr. Paradise. Juan talked about being a drummer in high school, played football, but got too big. His coach said lose 35lbs and he couldn't lose it. So, he got cut from the basketball team. Didn't like his Dad. His Dad didn't like that he was a church kid instead of an athlete. Dr. Paradise was surprised his Dad was angry he wanted to go to church, did he think he was soft? Juan says ,no.. But his Dad wanted him to be into sports more. He had a fall when he was living alone, and it was hard to get back up. So, he had to move in a 'room by his sister.' Think that was the only bonus scene. Have a feeling Juan isn't really a 'church kid' & just wanted some identifier that made him unique, and when sports didn't work out, he went harder on religion. Because he doesn't strike me as a religious person at all, let alone a preacher. But that could be because I'm used to religious people making that their whole identity and constantly inserting the word God into any conversation. So, could just be my bias. But I'm betting if he were able to lose the weight, he'd be a 'sports kid' instead. At any rate, Good luck, Juan!

Dorit could be a bit Rose Nylund, too with her endless stories. "Back in St. Olaf/'I said, bubba.....beverely.....beach...is...my...Vision....when ..I...lived..in...Italty...' -
This episode could’ve been 15 minutes. I’m fascinated by this story, but the pacing is excruciatingly slow.

Boz’s style is definitely not my own, but I find it entertaining. Just when I think she’s reached full Wonka color palette, she comes out in something like that leopard rainbow number. I jsut enjoy her, and I realize her storylines this season are total duds, she’s a breath of fresh air in other ways-her colorful house and wardrobe, her hilarious reactions to the nonsense these women spew. I just know there’s a more interesting person there….where is she!?! 🤣. Maybe I’m just burnt out on the others with their carefully curated personalities and labels and hairstyles. I can’t quit Boz and her tower of hair and crazy nails and Skittles outfits.- 137 replies

The Moms I know, who grew up with cold parents, go out of their way to tell their kids they love them, are proud of them, because they remember how much it hurt to not have that kind of support. So, its odd to me when people say, well My parents were tough, so I'm tough, oh well! I'm especially shocked at a therapist believing reinforcing parental love to a child is 'trite.'. Your parents are supposed to be your safe haven from a sometimes cruel world. Aren't we All aware of the damage done to babies raised in orphanages who don't get held or don't get individual attention from loving caregivers? Even if the touchy feely stuff doesnt come naturally to you, kids see & need to see you make an effort. Yes, this can be done through deeds, but kids don't equate you paying for an expensive school to hugs and playing toys with them for a few hours. Reba seems the, 'I drove you to school didn't I?!' Type. Of course, when we're older, we recognize love through self sacrifice, but kids don't. Those are crucial developmental years where I love you's and hugs are necessary. She may not be as vile as I initially thought, and perhaps she felt off the hook for affection because Sutton's Dad filled that role. But it shouldnt take pulling teeth to get a simple, I love you , out of a woman trained and educated on the emotional needs of a healthy human being. I hope they've wrapped up the childhood drama portion of this series. Close that door with the I wanna baby storylines, too, Please! New York's reboot got Really boring with all the ladies crying over who had the toughest, poorest childhood. Snoozers.- 137 replies

Figures I'd miss an episode where the pounder actually Leaves his room. Took him a while, but nice to see a steady loss. Why do they All lie to Dr Now-'i just eat baked chicken and yogurt once a day' lmao you're almost 700lbs! The jig is up. Such a likeable family. They should've been featured on Family By the Ton. They were a bit smaller than the usual cast, but they all could've used the diet. Maybe not enough people for that one? When Juan said 'Cajun Creole cooking' I got excited to see some of those dishes, but alas, we just got the usual enormous egg & frozen sausage breakfast followed by pizza. Zzzzzz. Anyone suss out what his favorite restaurant was? As usual, Dr. Paradise did a great job of getting Juan to express his pent up pain, and got him motivated. Love Dr. P! Nutritionist was better than usual, but I'm still waiting for one who gives practical advice on how to make healthy food more palatable with herbs and spices. Or at least explains how processed food is designed to be addictive, and it takes a few weeks to retrain your tastebuds, so non processed food won't taste good for a little while. But it's always about taking away and food shaming.
