  1. I waited with baited breath to find out the fate of the cat. I'm pretty sure I wasn't the only one.
  2. I really like it, too. I really want to reenact the scene in the grocery store, but none of my friends are bad moms, or any kind of moms, I realize. Katherine Hahn was great, and this movie had the right balance of sentimentality and raunchy hilarity to make her lines stand out even more.
  3. In It Could Happen To You, when Charlie tells Yvonne that he won the lottery and is giving her half of his winnings, I love it. She stops and asks if she can really accept it, and I want to yell, "Yes!" Every time.
  4. The use of Berlioz's Symphony Fantastique in Sleeping With the Enemy builds the dread and despair Laura feels whenever she is around her crazed husband. On a lighter note, I love Danny Elfman's work in Edward Scissorhands. It gives parts of the movie a dark fairytale feel.
  5. I loved how Richard asked if they could keep the intern who made the good latte like he was a new puppy. Richard's delivery kills me no matter what he says, but he gets really good lines, too.
  6. Tears all around tonight. I don't know how Norma didn't end up with DID to escape all her traumas like Norman did.
  7. I don't know, Spartan Girl. Norma practically making out with Norman a couple of episodes ago to try to keep him from hurting her was pretty messed up. The great thing about this show is there are so many messed up moments to choose from!
  8. I want to know why Claire and Abbie (off the top of my head) had very clear introductions with Jack, but Serena just kind of showed up like she'd been down the hall forever. It was very jarring with her and Branch showing up to change things up at the same time.
  9. Even though it may contribute to complaints that nothing is really happening, I really hope that Daniel listens to John and gets therapy. I agree that it's hard to ever know what Daniel is really thinking, and I want him to he pushed to explain himself more.
  10. I guess that the writers enjoyed the idea of the audience questioning how much of the episode is real, so they made a whole episode of WTF.
  11. Hobo Christian Slater, that was harsh!
  12. I know "Wolf Hall" had mixed reviews, and I have no idea about how old Mark Rylance is, but his quiet, stern presence could convey the things that Father Holmes would.
  13. Perhaps I'm looking for associations where none exist, but after last week's episode, I wonder if the events of this episode will tie into the warning thrown Gregson's way. Like, someone wants Holmes out to affect Gregson and his precinct, or the expansive use of manpower or Holmes's relapse this episode will hurt Gregson next season.
  14. In Texas, certain grade levels require passing the test as part of the requirements for being promoted to the next grade level. If they opt out, they don't move on.
  15. Titus: Lillian, are you dying? I knew it. You look hoorrribbbllle!
  16. Library sign includes: Masturbate responsibly.
  17. I hope next season doesn't give the stepdad his own side plots. His character is terrible and grates.
  18. Freddy! I was missing him this season. I loved Meacham defending Frank to the writer as not being a fool. Meacham is so loyal.
  19. I've honestly never heard anyone say "underpants" in real life. Thank God!
  20. Ugh, I hope not. Definite bedroom mood killer.
  21. Between Nia's "would have gaven up" and Knight's "drownding," I never regret using closed captioning for the sarcastic quotes of iffy English. Also, why was TJ pronouncing yucca that way? Was he trying to add a Spanish flare?
  22. I stopped watching "Jersey Shore" before it ended, and I didn't see the last season of this show, but it makes me so sad to watch this and see the hamsters mimicking the meatheads. Tony is all, "Yeah, buddy" and somebody else mentioned smooshing, and I'm just so disappointed that Snooki's clan has had that much of an effect on the reality famewhore lexicon. And is "broad" the new "female" (as in seemingly neutral but really misogynistic reference to women)?
  23. I know this is not the best show ever, but I really liked this episode. A lot of things I understood (and cared about) happened.
  24. Boy, did he deserve those spankings. Too bad about his balls, though.
