  1. Why won't someone from one of those other Earths go something like, "Earth-29? No way. We're #1! You be Earth 29." Is Lourdes back in school now or was she just hanging around the class prez debate because, Naomi? Is it just me or does Nathan come across as way too smug? Watch out, daddy McDuffie. I don't think your commander is quite buying what you're selling. I should just accept that the science on this show is on the level of The Flash. The Enigma machine and a Turing machine are two different things and there's really no reason to expect either to have some special ability to decipher an alien binary code.
  2. No, "who are you" or, "what do you want" to Bizarro? He could have then said, "You am got no jurisdiction in Bolivia" or something. Was he looking for his own bizarro fortress down there? I do like that Freddie Mercury look with the 'stache.
  3. The whole "rosetta stone" thing was completely nonsensical. I mean, why would there really be such a thing in the first place? A plaque that just happens to have enough alien script and convenient English translation so that Naomi can cross-reference it with what she remembers from the disk on the fly. Lazy, lazy writing. [Begin rant] Duuuuude, you may have Adam Blake's name but you're going to have to do better than that to convince me you are him, duuuude. This sort of thing is one of the things I like least about these comics to film/tv adaptations. They use the name of some comic character and affix it to some movie/tv character regardless of how divergent that character is from the original. Like Everett Ross in the MCU. Why did they even bother giving him that name? I guess they think that the Adam's having the same color scheme is close enough. [End rant] Oh, one more thing - that special ops team really sucks if they couldn't be bothered to cover all the exits.
  4. As he said, they are made of a rare metal from Thanagar, "Nth metal" in the comics, and it has anti-gravity properties so technically it doesn't even have to be fashioned into wings to work. My first question to Dee, upon seeing them, would have been, "How do you pack all that away?"
  5. I had to roll my eyes at how thick they were shoveling it on in making the main character so stupendous even before superpowers. She's popular, got her own jam!, everyone loves her, may be bi (if not, she's a tease); she's smart, taking AP courses, on the debate club and can blow off debate prep right in the middle of said prep right in front of the teachers without any apparent repercussion ("It's for my blog" well then, by all means); said fictional character (?) blog is the third most popular such blog in the whole world!!! (note to show: "stan" is not a complement); she's a rad sk8tergrrl as well. ENOUGH ALREADY! Even BDA Clark Kent was tied up in a cornfield on his first episode and he was the future freakin' Superman.
  6. Obviously, all that extracurricular adventuring cut into their study time so they all had to be held back.
  7. Hey, doc, how about elevating the affected limb higher than the heart, applying pressure to the popliteal or femoral artery and/or creating a tourniquet?
  8. I blame Junior's descent into the dark side on that house. Could the interiors be any more dark? Even the bathroom was depressing. You'd get seasonal affective disorder no matter what time of year.
  9. What Barry needed all episode
  10. If Division has been going around interfering in things, you'd think they'd do it a little more constructively. Or, maybe we are supposed to wonder how horrifically things would have turned out vis-à-vis the Daleks, the Cybermen, the Sontarans, et al, had they not interfered. It seems like one of those organizations that exists only to protect its own existence.
  11. I wanted to tell the rogue angel that if it was in possession of knowledge and that was why the others wanted you back, the best course of action would be to spread that knowledge as widely as possible rather than continue to keep it to yourself.
  12. Hey, Chester. Anything you built could have malfunctioned and burned down that house.
  13. That was one sorry excuse for a notWalmart! pharmacy.
  14. The monster makers have been bringing it.
  15. Are the plate-glass windows of high-rises that easy to smash through? Did they think Bree shoved the cart through it herself? How does Chucky reach the door handles or elevator buttons?
  16. A week to prove he won't go bad in ten years. How exactly is that supposed to work, anyway? He'd have to travel to the future to find out what really happened so that's not what he's going to do.
  17. Shōji declares that he wants to stuff his face with Tsukasa's meat. Azami shows that he is well endowed when a discharge occurs. Soma whips it out and a geyser erupts. This episode was ridiculously filled with innuendo. And that's saying something with this show.
  18. I was amazed that notWalmart still had so much stuff in it. I guess they didn't have a going out of business sale (Everything Must Go - Including the Furnishings!), nor much of a criminal element in town. Those zombies sure are juicy. They are practically blood balloons.
  19. SyFy is airing this starting tonight.
  20. Sorry, Doctor, but I can't get too upset with the general blowing up the Sontarans (& he got it set up in 6 minutes!). He had no guarantee the Sontarans wouldn't just return after going back to the future and refilling their tanks. This is war, after all.
  21. I do hope we get a backstory about the nefarious fracking company. I mean, why send a suit with a medical/biology or whatever background rather than a petrochemical engineering or geology background to troubleshoot? Did some higher-up have ulterior motives for drilling at this particular site?
  22. Is it time for Landon to become a phoenix again? Maybe then they can complete the proposed plan to save Rafe and bring him back from that bus trip they sent him on. Maybe for the finale. Can we please avoid a stupid love triangle with Lizzie, MG, and Ethan? Fireworks? Really, show? Wouldn't Ric have vervain in his blood? Maybe a tribrid wouldn't be adversely affected by that.
  23. Ronnie Wilson, founding member of The Gap Band, has died at 73. https://www.usatoday.com/story/entertainment/music/2021/11/03/ronnie-wilson-gap-band-member-death/6263697001/
  24. I do hope he's not turning into a bat (2:15 mark).
  25. I'm left wondering if a Weeping Angel could be stopped with a camera or if you need a living being to watch them (presumably intelligent or all sorts of animals that might be around could do it).
