I always thought Jana and Stephen get married between their birthdays since he's younger anyways. His birthday is later this month. The Jacksons seem more moderate than the Wissmans.

Notice that it's from 19 Kids and Counting and not Counting On. I don't think Jeremy was ever on 19 K&C. I think he showed around the time it was Counting On.

Jill was 23 when she got married. I think part of it is she's not good at being alone. And we give Jessa, Joy, etc. more credit for being less clingy, but they're never alone. The kids are always there. I expect Jill will have another baby when Sam goes to school, but maybe she will find something.

Carlin is wearing a maternity dress on the Bates Sisters Boutique website. She looks pregnant, although that could be a pillow of some kind. I have no idea if she's pregnant, but she looks pregnant modeling a maternity dress. Here's a link so you can see it.

I think her job is to be an alternate sistermom and housekeeper in case it's too much for Jana and she needs help.

Carlin is modeling a maternity dress for Bates Sisters Boutique. Right now Alyssa had a baby in February, Josie and Whitney just had babies, and Tori is due any minute. Carlin is not known to be pregnant, so maybe she's wearing a pillow? Here's the link to the outfit. It may be just her modeling the dress, but why not get Josie or Whitney to do it?

Austin (Forsyth), Jed!, and Jeremiah Duggar were all in the son's wedding.

Besides the Rod issues with food, Nurie is a younger pregnant woman (22) and this is her first child. Both age and # of kids, has an effect on pregnant someone looks.

I think Laura must do something for the family so they keep around. I doubt they would let her stay for years if she didn't do some chores, etc. That being said she's a grown woman who could leave and would probably have the support of her own family to leave. So she must feel some reason to stay.

Hannah Reber is probably better educated than David Keller. Lemuel Reber's wife works/worked for the Arkansas governor. I think this match is a huge mismatch, but I guess they're both fundie.

COVID wouldn't lead to blood-type incompatibilities. It doesn't change people's blood types. I agree the Bates have been Covidiots from the start, but let's not blame everything on COVID.

Olivia is 9. I don't mind the sign being plain, since all they did was spray silly string on it.

My parents were pretty lax in many ways, but if there was even a small chance of child endangerment, they were extremely protective. Also I seem to recall Mama Temperance teaching me not to drink out of the carton or eat ice cream out of the carton, etc. Both Jill and Joy have posted pictures of the toddlers climbing on everything. Not to mention any guns they might have.

The only Duggar who married at 18 was Justin. (Although Michelle was 17 and JB was 19.) Joy, Kendra, Lauren, Claire and Ben were 19. Josh and Anna were 20. Everyone else I didn't name was older when they married.

Sorry I haven't been back, and updated. I got my tooth repaired on Saturday. It went well. I like my dentist.

I know someone whose baby had breathing problems. The baby was in the NICU a week that baby didn't have a collapsed lung or chest tube. I'd be shocked if the poor baby went home tomorrow. Sending good vibes to little Jadon.
