Jinger is barely showing and less than halfway through the pregnancy and they've already taught Felicity to point to Jinger's belly and say "baby".😬 I'm sure Lauren is jealous she didn't get to do this first with Bella; it's right up her alley. Is Felicity going to point to all women without a toned stomach? Of course if she goes through rebellious phase as a teen/youngadult, she can just point to Jinger at any point and say "baby". Hey maybe Felicity can go home to see Lolli and Pops and point to their stomachs and say "baby". Ultimately this seems like trying to appeal their base with overemphasizing pregnancy and unintended potential fat shaming.

They were in blue and pink for the gender reveal. They already know it's a girl so it's pink for them. I didn't realise that til I saw GeeGolly's photo.

She got pregnant in October and miscarried in November or December or she got pregnant in November and miscarried in December. It's not unusual for pregnancy to last one month. A fundie woman I know got married and was pregnant on her honeymoon and miscarried one month in. (The same fundie woman had 4 kids in 6 years so it all worked out.)

The Lonely Js Club: James, Jackson & Johannah
Temperance replied to SpaghettiTuesdays's topic in Counting On
If it's for filming, that's a tax deduction and a business expense. -
It's not illegal to text and drive in Texas or at least it wasn't because one of their governors thought people should make their own decisions. I have no idea what the laws in AR or my home state, but I'm surprised it's illegal to wear headphones and drive in any states. As long as your hands on the wheel and your eyes on the road; is it really that important?

Behindthename does say there are a lot of early Christian martyr/saints named Irene. Since Felicity was named for an early Christian martyr, it's possible they will use Irene. I think both Caroline and Charlotte are possibilities to honor Charles Spurgeon and Charles Vuolo. I also like Rosemary as both religious, princessy and to honor Grandma Mary, but it may be too Catholic.

I don't want any children featured on the shows, besides maybe babies. I tend to think kids do better away from the spotlight. My ideal show would be about the christian patriarchy movement is evil and all the flaws in their beliefs held to the light. TLC which has been sugar coating their beliefs would never make such a show. Realistically the best thing would be a new courtship. There doesn't seem to be one. The last one was almost two years ago.

Just like Lauren. Lauren announced she had had a loss right before the new Counting On season. It had not been mentioned before. And then she talked about it endlessly including during a healthy pregnancy.

You got the name right of Josh's youngest right. I assume this baby will have a name with the same vibes that Felicity has. Princessy, cute, and a little religious. I doubt they'll use another F name, but maybe Flora, Charlotte, Caroline, Evangeline, Rosemary, or Susanna...

Allison and Denver posted on social media they went to a wedding in Ohio. Anna Craig Maxwell is from Ohio and the wedding seems to have been there. So it's likely some of the Bontragers were there. And the Bontragers have gone back to church which seems to have gone back to having normal services in Iowa. The Bontragers/Bowers had Mighty Men camp with how many families including a Duggar and a Caldwell.

That's nothing. The Maxwells post today is for Grandma Gigi. Gigi is not Teri, but Teri's mom. They held a birthday for her. It was outdoors with signs and people drove by like she's a little kid. Except Gigi is clearly sitting next to Steve and Teri and she doesn't live with them. She also doesn't live with Melanie who doesn't live with Steve and Teri. (Melanie is Nathan's wife.) Here's more from the post: "We were personally blessed to be part of the birthday celebration for Gigi and also by the outpouring of love for her: >>From Nathan and Melanie thinking of and carrying out the party, right on the heels of a long-distance wedding trip >>From Gigi’s friends and family who made the effort to leave the comfort of their homes to drive by (some neighbors walked by) and greet her >>From Anna and Mary’s investment in making it extra special for Gigi and Christopher’s children. Christopher’s children could have just walked over and said, “Happy Birthday, Gigi,” but the costumes and decorated vehicles made it that much better for everyone. Gigi is a loved part of our family, her church, and our community. " Oh so this happened right after the wedding on Saturday, so they broke social distancing for that wedding and then Chris raced off to his very sick wife and the Maxwells had a party for the most at-risk family member. No masks either!!!! Anybody know how Leavensworth/Kansas is doing?

I can't even be sure that's Jed! Most of the Duggar boys look like that. If I were pregnant, I woud be trying to avoid COVID. I think it would be the worst to get COVID now. Later in the pregnancy they can do a c-section. The farther along the pregnancy is, the better. Thanks!

I kind of a said it in my long post, but the word squad is fine. It's the word "recruited" that is mind-bogglingly stupid. How does a toddler or any child recruit a fetus into her mother's womb? She could presumbly recruit a friend later in life to be a her sister, but a child cannot recruit another child into the family. Only the parents and God can chose to add to the family. I wonder if any of their fans find this blasphemous.

Lawson can't support a wife and his parents aren't like the Duggars where they're going to find ways to support their sons. Lawson would expect any woman he marries to be completely in awe of the Godly hunk she marries. And he expects her to be quiverfull even with no income. I was making a list of pregnant fundies here, but wasn't sure anyone would want it. If someone asks though, I'll post the list.

Joy and Austin: This One Time At Family Camp
Temperance replied to frenchtoast's topic in Counting On
Joy is due in mid August and Jinger is due near Thanksgiving. It's possible some of the other Duggars will announce they are due near Jinger, but only one baby so far. Also none of the Bates aren't pregnant currently and most of the other fundies aren't either. (Although there are a few.) -
So Jinger is pregnant again! I posted I thought she was last night and I was right! Of course I also thought she was pregnant last fall. And apparently she was. I thought they wanted Felicity to have more time as the baby. I can't blame JinJer for wanting to get to baby #2 since there is so much emphasis on the need for 2 kids in American society. I hope the baby train will hold until these girls get older. Although it sounds as if Jinger is training Felicity to be a sistermom, based on Recently, she’s been practicing her big-sistering on dolls, cradling and shushing them to sleep. Pretty soon, she’ll be holding a real baby. But she’s ready, and so are we. And this is the dumbest sentence I've ever read. Or one of them! Felicity’s recruited a little sister to join her squad! Recruited her? Like in a sorority! How does a little girl recruit a baby into her mother's womb? Your wife has been pregnant 3 times; you do know where babies come from, right? I was going to say something mean about Jinger's intelligence, but this is Jeremy's post. So it's his stupidity, and yeah he looks dumb. Jeremy may keep Jinger busy with babies so she can't outshine him. Lauren also didn't comment on her loss until the new season of Counting On rolled around. I'll wait to see if JinJer is different. Since Jeremy's the baby and the only with children, I could see him wanting to have at least one boy to carry on the Vuolo name. I also think JinJer will have somewhere around 4-6 children. Enough to claim they have a big family, but not as many as JB and Michelle. All pregnant women including Jinger and Joy need to be careful about COVID-19. There are real risks for the mothers and the pregnancy.

I didn't this photo was old! I meant that the vapid photos we see everyday may be old. This one does look current
-
Huh? I'm not sure what you mean. I meant that Vuolos usually curated photos could be old. Since this photo of Jinger with the messy hair was allegedly from something filmed maybe Jinger is telling her father and brothers she's pregnant.
-
Jinger's hair is so different from her usually perfect hair. She also looks pregnant. I wouldn't put it past any of these people to be sharing old photos on their timeline. Maybe this is the big announcement? Also notice there are only a few Duggars besides the Vuolos.

Joy and Austin: This One Time At Family Camp
Temperance replied to frenchtoast's topic in Counting On
@Zella Stay safe! -
If I remember Joy was still doing "algebra" at 17. It could have been algebra II. It also wouldn't surprise me if the Duggars call all high school math algebra. I doubt they pay too much attention to the different maths. All the kids need is some algebra and the boys a little more math to fly a plane.

Joy and Austin: This One Time At Family Camp
Temperance replied to frenchtoast's topic in Counting On
Austin's family runs a camp where they don't provide safety equipment for their activties including horseback riding. It's a lawsuit waiting to happen. A lot of people say fundies don't sue, but if the medical bills are big enough, they may not have a choice. -
Carlin and Evan: But Mostly Carlin!
Temperance replied to PrincessPurrsALot's topic in Bringing Up Bates
The picture with his feet up in the air is silly and suggestive. I didn't realise she and Joy got married on the same day two years apart.
