Brilliant timing! Derick posts this literally the day before his brother-in-law, who is 21 and has no college education, announces his engagement to a teenager. Someone should tweet Derick back about this development.

She only has one sister other than Lauren C. and that sister did look much younger in the photo I saw. However that photo could be old, so that might be what Kendra's sister looks like now. I agree where is Ben?

Her hair may lighten also in the summer if she's outdoors more, but she was always a brunette. -

@ginger90 Can you also post in the TLC/media thread? Thank you! Where's Ben? -
Josh & Anna Smuggar: A Series of Unfortunate Events

Lauren's parents seem as fundie as they come. I doubt it would ever occur to her she could say no to the Duggars, and I doubt she would say she was washing her hair if she could cancel. I think once it's a public courtship, they're as good as engaged (since Marjorie). It would be easy enough to spring Josh from wherever as birthday treat. I noticed his Aunt Deanna was there. -
Don't be. My favorite Chrises are Evans, Pine, Hemsworth... and Pratt. in this order. I watched a soap called Everwood a long time ago and I'm always amused Chris Pratt, who played Bright, is now a heartthrob.

I don't think it mattered if he was great, or awful, or mediocre at his job. A big, world-famous corporation is not going to put its neck out to save some kid doing an entry level job in their accounting? (or whichever) department. Corporations hire kids straight out of college all the time and sometimes they last in the job and sometimes leave instead. He wasn't hired as re-inventing the wheel genius or a top-of-the-ranks hire and those are the only people big business will try to keep. He was an office drone and those are probably easy to find to work for such a company.

I think coming for lunch, meeting him at work, leaving for a set amount of time would be fine. My memory was that Jill drove him to work in the morning, then waited in the car for lunch and then waited to go home, but I could be wrong. Does anyone else remember this? Derick had missionary dreams from the beginning. He was in Nepal doing some vague type of missionacating when Jill met him. He probably was happy about going to Central America.

I could see Jinger and Jeremy with more than four. Especially if they have a few to start and then at least one later in life. I agree with you they won't have double digits. As for the others, remember they're going to have as many God will give them. So it wouldn't surprise me if they ended up with double digits.

Josh & Anna Smuggar: A Series of Unfortunate Events

There's a big difference between being married to Josh Duggar and being married to his kids just like being married to one of his siblings. I wouldn't any of my friends or family to marry into the Duggar family, because that would mean giving up control of their life and having to live according to their crazy beliefs. Other than that I wouldn't hold Josh against any of his children. -
I have been enjoying the wedding fun. I have my own reasons for appreciating the good cheer. I have many times avoided this section of the forum when it didn't appeal to me. I'm a different season of life than many of the other people and that's fine. I'm glad other people have a place where they can share what they want, even if it's silly pretend weddings.

I think it's a joke, and the kind of irritating-annoying-mildy-offensive-wildy-intrusive joke that too many people I know would make. -

Captain America. In the first movie, Howard Stark had to explain it to him. Also it's seems very likely there was no fondue in the Duggar house. Someone should tell them there are different types of fondue- mainly cheese, chocolate, and beef. -

Nothing selfish about not having babies or even one baby. I doubt Amy would blanket train. I do find the line about having a girl soon dumb and somewhat offensive. I would consider it very offensive under normal circumstances, but considering how often her cousins have babies, it's likely someone will have another girl soon. -

That's sound about right. I was going to post that we don't know whether she actually gave birth in hospital or not. We know she was in a hospital, but we don't when she arrived. Glad she's safe. -

It means Jill and Derick spent soooo much time as missionaries in Central America that Jill has extensive experience with Hispanic culture and the Spanish language. Enough for her to translate aunt into tia, but not favorite. Learning the words for family members is usually taught early on when learning a language. -
It was V for Vuolo. We're going to make you a big G for girl, since you'll be Marigoldgirl and bigskygirl. Or is it bigskygold?

They're not at a hospital in the photos, except maybe that one photo of the baby. If she had been in a hospital, they would probably not have released her until yesterday the 25th. I say probably, because in some states it's legal for hospitals to send a woman home before 48hours (Not in New York, Alabama etc. I'm not sure where it is legal and where it is not.) -

I think that's deliberate. Like someone saw it in a store and decided to buy it. They chose it for the photoshoot because Digger is very similar to Duggar. A sudty ocne siad our brians are wried so taht we can raed txet mesesd up like tihs if the frsit and lsat lteter saty the smae. (A study once said our brains are wired so that we can read text messed up like this if the first and last letter stay the same.) We can also mistake words that end in the first and last letter or sound similar. -

I have a lot of boy cousins born around the same time as me. They are all great and one of them is one of my best friends. Joy also enjoyed playing with her brothers until she got old enough she was forced to girly things. Also knew a family where they had bunch of boys and two girls far apart. The boys carried the younger sister around for long time. Being the only girl can have its perks. -

You were right! You told me so! I'm shocked that she already had the baby. I'm glad for her sake she did. That baby is huge. Technically everyone was at least 19 when they got married and Kendra is the first 19-year-old mother. Joy was 19 when she announced she was pregnant. I doub that's the real Chrissy Tiegen. I'm disappointed People is buying again. They did a feature on Joy's wedding, but gave Joe's wedding a small blurb. I wonder what they'll do for Joe's baby and Jinger's baby and...
