I could see Jeremy doing J names and Kendra doing some sort of letter-theme names. I don't think Joy will stick with Gs, but it could happen.

Mayhem Miller and Miz Cracker managed to turn cartwheels during the mini-challenge runway walk with the other queens there. As someone who would find a cartwheel in gym shorts challenging, I was impressed they could turn cartwheels in full drag with really nice clothes without messing up the hair! Extra props to Mayhem as her gown was ankle-length! Yes, I thought the same. I was glad they picked Ain't No Other Man and not Genie in a Bottle, which is the most played Aguilera song around here. (by that, I mean it's the one I've heard more in the last four years, not when they first came out respectively.)

College is still a lot of work. Getting through college shows some ambition, intelligence, and talent. Certainly there are many admirable people who didn't go to college. Queen Elizabeth, herself didn't go. I agree with you on most of this. Especially when people praise her style. She has a team of people, a large budget, and that is part of being a princess.

Joy and Austin: This One Time At Family Camp

I actually think Austin's sister is pretty in a normal, young woman sense. She has the Forsyth nose. @MyPeopleAreNordic is right, it's the beliefs that are hard to overcome. -
I agree. However this is a trend. I think it peaked a decade or so ago, but it start at the end of the '90s. I've mentioned this before, but I have friends who always remind of the Duggars. One in particular likes to pack her hospital with girlfriends/sisters/her mother as well as her husband.

It's been six months since Joe and Kendra got married. Surely they painted something, or went out to a restaurant or had a baby. Hey Josiah started courting, it would help not only current, but future wedding ratings if the audience actually met Lauren before the wedding.

The Lonely Js Club: James, Jackson & Johannah
Temperance replied to SpaghettiTuesdays's topic in Counting On
In the real world, it wouldn't necessarily be a huge age difference. (3 years, 7 months with Jana being older). I don't know Kelly or Gil and the Bates family well enough to know if they be okay with an older lady. Then again it would be his second courtship. Like Josiah. It might be real and it might be really good for both of them. But this seems to be fantasy speculation. And screw the tabloids! It was bad enough when Jana was linked to any guy who wasn't a brother in the same photo as her and her family. Now she's not even in those pictures, and they're speculating! -
It's not InTouch, it's an exclusive interview with Us Weekly.

What I was trying to say is that Michelle and Jana are just as much a disaster team as Jill. They encouraged Jessa to give birth at homebirth. There probably was another anonymous midwife, but People listed her midwives as Jana, Michelle, another J-girl, and Guinn. When I read the People article, I remember thinking it was probably Michelle telling Jessa she didn't want to go to the hospital. Jessa could have bled to death if she hadn't made it to a hospital in time. I'm still holding out hope that she will have the baby at a hospital and/or have competent people delivering the baby. But it seems less likely from the article!
-
Sounds like home birth to me! Michelle is coming! Remember Jill wasn't there when Jessa had Spurgeon, and Jana and Michelle were. It was her "team" including Michelle and Jana who encouraged and convinced her to stay home during the birth when she was considering transferring to the hospital. yes he did!

S07.E05: A New Bundle of Joy/S07.E06: Joy Gives Birth
Temperance replied to frenchtoast's topic in Counting On
I don't mind Joy telling anyone she was pregnant in a text message. A) She's young and this is how they communicate. B) It's good news (announcing something bad in text is taboo) and fairly predictable news. c) Joy doesn't always seem to like having a lot of eyes on her. D) She should announce in person so they care stare at her stomach? If I ever adopt/reproduce, I'm telling people in emails, but I'm older than Joy. -
TDS 3.0: Season Three Talk
Temperance replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in The Daily Show With Trevor Noah (2015-2022)
I just want to say I was kind of surprised by the way the Ru Paul interview went. He's a fun guest and Trevor seemed depressed. I kept thinking "Why so serious?" -
I'm new to this show, but I was watching the marathon. This show seems cool! I thought Kalorie had a better outfit and did slightly better in Lipsync, but the Lipsync was close for me. I felt bad for Vanessa Mateo. Loved seeing Christina! I don't watch the voice so it's the first time I've seen her in a long time.

We snark on the Duggars for their insane registries, but insane registries seem to be getting more common. For example, this woman I know registered for all these power tools, furniture, electronics, etc. I know people can register for what they want and sometimes the stores give discounts to make it more affordable. But it seems like a lot to ask for what you're asking for a)stuff you won't use that much or b) stuff that $90.00 or more. So this woman has a lot of stuff that costs around 100 bucks and multiple items over 200 dollars. It wouldn't surprise me if she was a Duggar fan, because her ex's family always reminds me of the Duggars. She also has gift cards on there. Si and Lauren have fewer expensive items than this woman. But all those quirky signs. One or two of the better signs would be cute. Do they really need one that says "Toliet"? -
That was Lauren Swanson's mother. Lauren S. is engaged to Josiah. They are a bit like Kendra's family and Mrs. Caldwell seems young enough she could have more. However, she hasn't been pregnant since Kendra started courting as far as we know.

I think women/girls are allowed to hug each other. I've seen the Duggar girls hug their sisters and Michelle gives hugs. They only side hug their brothers/father, possibly because of the Josh situation. It was sad just typing that out. -

I've been lurking at FJ and they posted screen shots of the webisode where Joy gives birth. As someone without TLCGO, I learned the following things from their screen shots (screengrabs). 1)Not only did the Forsyths not interfere, but some of them were present when Joy was in labor at home. His mother and sister were hovering over Joy when she was trying to give birth. As were many other people. 2) Her sister Johannah was there. She seems young to be there. I'm glad no one tried to get me to witness a birth when I was her age. 3) There was an unidentified blonde woman there, who seems to be a midwife. -

I tend to think there was another midwife who didn't want to appear on camera. It makes sense. What midwife would want the world to know it took her 20 hours to realize the baby was breech? Hospitals are probably better imo, as they are better equipped when things go wrong. Also many people tend to live farther away which means more travel time there if things go wrong. There's always traffic near the hospitals near me.
