He has "anger issues" and he is living with that self absorbled shrew for how many years now? Not really buying that. I don't like Dean, he is a complete loser, but I am not sure anyonew deserves life with Tori. She is just horrible. I am reminded of my Eddie/LeeAnn/Brandi experience. I have hated LeeAnn Rimes since she sued her dad. But then I started watching Brandi on RHOBH and she was such a horrid, slutty, bitch that I started to gain empathy for Eddie and LeAnn. Then Eddie and LeeAnn got their own reality show and I went back to full on hate of LeeAnn. My hate for Eddie remained pretty constant. Really people, reality shows are not your friend. I have a suggestion for Tori's next business venture. How about "Free Dean" T-shrts? He needs to run and run fast.

This. It's not like any other show where a dead character means they are gone. Is it wroing that my initial reaction to his being hit by th car was that I just wished the two look alikes were with him? Then I thought it through and realized it doesn't mean he's gone. Gee, so I guess the wife wasn't actually so happy that the ex girlfriend is having her husbands baby with no ulterior motives? Who'd have thunk it?

Way too much Jax in this episode. I kept flipping chanels when he was on. I really can't stand him. Stassi, who was once bitchy enough to be entertaining, is now just a bitch and not the least bit enertaining. She needs to go. And really, what is with the wardrobe? Is she chaneling Joan, the bitch fron "Mad Men"? I am in a conservative business and dress conservatively and am also much older than Stassi, but my wardrobe is stylish compared to hers. Oh and Stassi, you don't have a job, you aren't getting an education and you have had plastic surgery yourself. You might want to consider all that when you are ragging on the others. However, since I am gainfully employed, I can say Schwartz is a lazy loser. He and Katie have about as much chemistry as the other Tom and whats her name the new love of his live. Which is zero. Schwartz and Jax though, there is some chemistry. It's OK to be gay gentlemen. We already know and really don't care, however I always feel bad for women caught in this situation. It happened to a good friend of mine, years ago. She actually married him and only found out when she came home from work early one day. It was awful for everyone and I don't think she ever really got over it. Katie is pretty awful but she doesn't deserve that. The other Tom's chick, I can't be bothered to remember he name, is showing herself to be a bitch the last two episodes. Honey, you are not as secure as you want everyone to believe you are or you wouldn't need to keep throwing shade at Kristen. Kristen is nuts enough that she doesn't need any assistance from you to be pointing it out. Take the high road sweeteie, because it's all a moot point anyway. He's gay too. Speaking of crazy Kristen, I want more "Fatal Attraction" and a whole lot less Jax.

This was exactly what I was thinking. He probably realizes that the realationship is not strong enough to hold up to Mama Joyce and to that brat Riley. There is something seriously wrrong with Kandi, IMO. It's one thing to love your mother in spite of her issues,, but Kandi is off the charts defensive of the crazy, vile bitch. She is clearly fine with her daughter growing up to be a bitch as well. Run Todd. Run fast and far. The other thing I got out of last night is true Porsha hate. I have long thought she was a moron and boring, but last night I went to full on hate. An hour late and bitch doesn't only not apologize she actually adds an insult by saying Cynthia had nothing else to do? Stupid little moron needs to get completely out of the show. She really adds nothing anyway and nothing could ever top the Underground Railroad sutpidity anyway. Just go.

I can't answer the question, but thought I would mention that in Chanel surfing the other day I caught Randy on Oprah's "Whatever happened to" show. Seems he is living in Oregon., married with two children and working as a "life coach". So, OK, that particular profession is a little new age, touchy feely for me, but the overwhelming thing I got from the interview was that Randy was really pretty darn happy. Oprah did ask about his "meager" inhertiance and he responed very honestly, IMO. Would he prefer to have been left 8 million? Heck yes, but he was grateful for what he received. He had not one bad word to say about his mother, father or crazy sister (the adjective is mine, not his). He insisted that although he and Tori have busy lives that keep them from seeing each other that often, he considers them close. I felt that answer might have been a bit dishonest, but I was imporessed by his kindness. I think this show has harmed Tori more than she can possibly realize and I have to wonder if people close to her are being honest with her, or if she is just so delusional that she will not listen. I consider the delusion option to be very strong. There is no inidication that Candy was physically abusive mother. She may well have been critical, she may have been more aloof than Tori would have likes. She probably made mistikes. In other words, she is like mos parents, IMO. Human and flawed. My own mother was critical. Well, actually the woman I always thought was my mother who turned out to be my biological grandmother, but no one told me and I only discovered it at the age of 58 after mom/grandmom and sister/biological mom were both dead. So, guess what Tori honey, we all have our crosses to bear regarding our childhoods. But most of us choose not to let them rule our lives. I see Tori as a selfish little brat. I also find it ironic that she likes to whine about Candy when it is very clear, and caught on tape, that she herself is a horrendously bad mother. Putting her children through this freak show is reprehensible. I was always pretty "meh" about Tori Spelling, but I now detest her.

So funny. I was flipping channels and apparently got the two gems. First was Deano saying he thought he was a laughing stock as an acotr. Wow, Ya think? That is some insightful stuff Deano. Then I flipped again just as Dean was pretending to be sobbing and stuck around a couple of minutes marveling at how awful it was. That's it. I have done my time with this train wreck. I turned back to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and it actually felt like I was watching quality TV for a couple of minutes. Then I realized it was just the quick transition from this garbage. Because truly, a blank screen is quality TV compared to this. I am just curious. Surely those two morons can read? Do they not read what is said about them all over the internet? I never used to hate Tori. She was just an actress I remembered from an old show I never really watched whose daddy was the famous Producer. Now I so detest her that in spite of my sincere "like" of Jennie Garth (mainly because I thought she handled her divorce with class), I just could not watch even one episode of Mystery Girls. I even recorded it a couple of times and then realized I just couldn't because of Tori so I deleted it without ever watching. Yes Dean, you are a laughing stock as an actor. You are a laughing stock as a humamn being. Yet as horrid as you are, you seem the more sympathetic partner in your "fairy tale" romance. However what is being done to the four innocent children caught in this nightmare is not funny at all. It's tragic and if you want to ever have a chance to be anything other than a pathetic loser, get out and take them with you. Then hire a really good Nanny or two and hope for the best. It has to be an improvement over what they are living through now.

I agree 100%. I think the whole Fatal Attraction sotryline is the only thing really worth watching.
-
Or they make the mistake of going the Desperate Housewives route. They had a really good mystery the first season and the show was a huge hit. Then they tried to dig up other nysteries using essentially the same cast with a few additions and just kept getting progressively worse. So, hopefull, yes, they go the self contained mini series route. At least we know Sam won't be back.
-
Well I can't disagree with your observation. Yuck.

Alas, after going the longest time I can recall wtih no BRAVO, I now have the RHOA, RHOBH returning tonight and this lovely piece of BRAVO mastery. I am looking for Kristen to go totally Fatal Attraction on Tom and what's her name., No animals harmed, of course, but otherwise I think she is on her way. Obsessed much Kristen? I do agree that whats her name could have given them some privacy, but she is obviously not secure enough to do so. Don't either of these women know he's gay or is it all part of the script to pretend no one notices? Do guys actually have conversations like Tom and Schwartz were having? Where one guy says the other is "glowing". That was just bizarre. These people are all just so skeevy and self absorbed and vapid and well, just fabulous reality trash. Except Jax. I could really do without any Jax, he is just too skeevy to watch. .I hate Stassi but it will be interesting to watch her wander around LA all alone carrying on about her imaginary boyfriend that is clearly so madly in love he refuses to appear on camera. But her dog is really cute. Poor dog.

S07.E02: No Moore Apollogies
chlban replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of Atlanta
I get the sentiment, but President Obama was not raised by a strong Black woman. He was raised by two white women and ,my impression is that it was his Grandmother that was the strong one. That said, I am liking Phaedra better than any other time, largely because of the way she is raising those boys and because she is not defending Apollo. I had enough of everyone feeling sorry for the criminals on New Jersey. I have mixed feelings about Apollo in their life. I would hate for them to feel abandoned, yet obviously he is not an example of anything good. Hopefully, Phaedra can balance it well. Those children are adorable. -
But being married to Tori has to count like dog years. Every year must feel like seven. Which brings me to just how horrid and disgusting does this woman have to be that sleazebag Dean has now become the vicitm? Tori, wake up and read the press. You will never, ever have any kind of a career in the public eye again.
-
I can't stand Jim, but oddly he doesn't "bother" me like he does most people. Yes, he's a complete douche, but he doesn't try to pretend not to be. If anything, he is pretty open about his douchery. Bobby, OTOH, totally annoys me. I have never bought the fake relationship with one of the annoying twins. There is zero chemistry, although he did seem to have a real interest in Joe Gorga. I suspect everything Jim has said about Bobby is true and I also suspect he may not have told all he knows. I am totally fed up with Joe and Teresa. I cannot stand watching that bitch act so fricken put out and when she walked off part one of the reunion because her aunt dared to make a true statement, I knew, beyond any doubt that she has learned absolutely nothing from this. It is still someone elses fault. I hate both twins but whichever one (because I cant be bothered to tell them apart) said "clink clink" gets at least my kudos for that. Now they can really all go away forever.

This. I now officially hate Kim, where as before I just thougth she was a boring idiot that I wanted to go away. Dogs are protective of their owners, thats normal. I have a poodle mix who thinks he's a Rotweiller and I have no doubt he would lay down his life to protect me. However he has been socialized since I took him out of the animal shelter at about 1 year old, when he was so scared I had to carry him into the dog park and anywhere else there were other humans. Now he is the biggest social butterfly in the world and the most annoying thing he does is jump into strnagers laps at the dog park because he assumes everyone is as happy to see him as he is to see them. He adores people and, unless someone was physically attacking me he wouldn't bite for the world. Kim is an idiot. I hope the poor dog doesn't have to pay the price for her idiocy.

A horrible one. Teresa.

Resurrection seems to be getting away from its original premise
chlban replied to Living Dead's topic in Resurrection [V]
The new hate group seems to me like a retread of the first season episodes when the military was brought in and Sheriff went all "round em up and get rid of them". I don't care for that part of the storyline. I don't recall they ever really explained why Rachel committed suicide while apparently involved in a relationship with Pastor Tom. However, i get it, it must have been the only way she could escape the boredom. I know that whole storyline "should" be interesting. However, the fact that I cannot stand any of them ruins it for me. On the plus side I am starting to be able to tell the two women apart. I hope the whole season is not already filmed, or written for that matter. I would really like to see them tie up something. Unfortunatley I am getting a strong "Under the Dome" vibe each week. Like they just keep tossing crap in without any real direction. I would love to see them wrap up the whole factory, BG,, Demons, etc. and explain something before this show is cancelled, which I think will likely be before the season ends. The fact that this show is being pre-empted for two consecutive weeks during November Sweeps speaks volumes. ABC knows this show is dead (no pun intended) and is probably scrambling right now to see what they have on their waiting list to replace it with. -
Trials and Tribulations of Juicy and Tre...
chlban replied to Stinger97's topic in The Real Housewives Of New Jersey
Teresa will never get it. She is a moron and a horrible mother. She is pimping her kid for money. No real surprise there. The best thing that could happen to those girls is to have both parents in jail at the same time. It couldn't be worse than those to Pieces of crap that call themselves parents. Might hurt in the short run but would be a blessing over the long haul. -
I agree on all counts. Ally McBeal comes to mind, although a completely different type of show, I stayed to the very bitter end of a once brilliant show. However, if they can't keep me through one season, and I am looking at you Under The Dome, then I just give up . This one I do still enjoy for the most part. I am frustrated that they don't seem to be sure where they are going, but I am still engaged. However I fervently wish they had made Rachel disapear and have her take Tom and the look alike with her, and kept Barbara as she was just starting to get mildly interesting. I think the whole concept of hanging with Mom, when mom is younger than you are, was kind of interesting. Hasn't everyone kind of wondered what their parents were like before we came along?
-
Actually I thought she said something like that little girl became a demon herself. I assumed she meant because she is now one of the Returned, she is now a demon, not that she was as a little girl. However, I could be wrong, maybe I just thought she said that. As for the question, I don't know that I think she is behind it exactly, but I think she knows much more than any of the other characters because she dealt with the returned when she was a child.
-
I am a little surprised the ratings are tanking so badly now because, as I have said before, even though it's difficult not to totally hate BG she is, IMO, the most interesting character they have come up with. I do want to know what she really knows and what part she played in the returns that took place im the 30's. Bellamy might get more interesting now that we start to see some of this backstory that was previously only fan speculation. Still wish they would just let Rachel disappear and take Tom and his wife wih her.
-
Considering how fast the ratings are tanking I would say it is a moot point. It will be an accomplishment now if it makes it through this season. No way it's coming back for a third.
-
Yes, I don't recall any hint of Barbara comiitting suicide. That was Rachel who I really wish they had die again because I hate her character and that whole plotline with Tom and his wife. I also don't think the BF killed her. It was pretty clear she fell in andJacob died trying to save her. That is why the idea of her just "letting go" because BG told her to is absurd. Rachel would make sense, she tried to kill herself already and the reason for that was never really clear either. But Barbara is not realistic. I did catch that line from Marty in the previews about dying in 1934, which does mean that the African American family that drowned is obviously his. But, if he died in 1934 as a child, how is he an adult in 2014? If they age nornally after returning he'd be dead or ancient. Yet he aged enough to go from being a kid to an approximately 40 year old man? Then what,, he just stopped aging? I really want this show to get better, it has so much potential, if only that it has some very good actors, excluding the one that plays Maggie. It also has a fascinating premise, but like so many of these types of shows it is all over the place. At least so far there is no hint of Space Aliens, so I am sticking it out.
-
So now it's a toss up to be cancelled this season. That will be a shame, I would really like to see if they are going somewhere with this storyline. It's too late to re-work the shows now, but really, the whole Tom and his look alike harem is such a dud.
-
Yes. BG said something like she could never remember a time when she was cancer free before. She was relatively young when she died so Cancer makes sense. Unlike most things in this show.

Trials and Tribulations of Juicy and Tre...
chlban replied to Stinger97's topic in The Real Housewives Of New Jersey
All of this. I have always felt that, if anything, Martha received harsher punishment beause she was a celebrity. Yeah, I realize it was Camp Cupcake so not al lthat harsh, but I would bet had she not been famous she wouldn't have served any time, probably probation and fines. I am not a Martha fan, but I agree that she handled it with a good deal more class than Teresa and, of course, as you said her empire had nothing to do wiith the actual crime. So, even if I find her pompous and annoying I have to give her credit for working very hard for her success and for being a smart cookie. None of which applies to dim bulb, "I am the victim", Teresa. I had the exact same view of Tre on C.A. as you. She was pretty neutral and IMO the reason managed to last so long was that she flew below the radar by keeping a pretty low profile and, amazingly, not being controntational. There is almost always at least one contestant each season that gets pretty far along with exactly the same strategy. Although in Tre's case I suspect it was less strategy and more just realizng how over her head she was and just shutting up. I sincerely hope that she does the time she has been sentenced to. I don't care if it's Camp Cupcake, Tre is going to hate it and that's a good thing. There is something seriously wrong with her, IMO, that goes beyond just being extremely stupid. I don't expect her to learn anything from this, but maybe her kids will.
