I would think that between the Duggars’ high profile and their political and religious connections HSI would have to have some impressive evidence just to get a warrant?

My guess is it could go either way. TLC had to spend lots of money to rehabilitate the Duggars the last time. If they can dump all of this off on Josh they may go with another season because they finally have actual plot material (watch pretty girls be sad). Or they’ll say fuck it, write it off and move on to a less notorious nightmare family.

I think that only applies to minors being transported for sexual purposes, which I am so hoping is not the case here. But I am not a lawyer let alone one familiar with Arkansas laws. I would devoutly hope that bringing in a child to be an unpaid au pair would be against some law and once it crosses state lines doesn’t it becomes federal?

If she was transported across state lines to be some kind of house slave I start to see why CPS would be called in.

I do wonder if FBI raids in the SM age aren’t handled differently now...any big blatant effort is likely to end up on SM and be a risk for a potential lawsuit?
