  1. The pic, I believe, was taken when they arrived back in DC after the scandal broke. (eta: I remember that escalator behind them from the other pics with Anna in it. This also shows how detatched Anna was from Josh). Other pics confirm that the Duggar boys are working on his house, or were whenever the aerial shots were taken. http://okmagazine.com/photos/josh-duggar-moving-buy-news-home-arkansas-molestation-scandal/photo/1001265538/
  2. Thanks. I know that Marsha Jackson is a CNM, and her record keeping is certainly top-notch. I just kind of wondered about the other end, especially given what we now know about Vanessa Giron. Would their records be held to the same standards as an OBGYN's or CNM's offfice? I just can't help but be a bit skeptical; my concern is for Anna, especially given the stress she has been under for the past three weeks.
  3. I posted this last night, directly from the local news, with an accompanying story. :)
  4. I was just coming here to post that. I worry about who will deliver Anna's baby on such short notice. I suppose they could use the lady who delivered Marcus (remember the car ride from hell with Mechelle?). Hopefully, they won't consider that Miss Joy person that Jill sort of used (nowhere to be seen during her labor). I have no idea how midwives operate, but I would imagine that they want to monitor an entire pregnancy, not just the last month. Can they port Anna's file from the CNM they had lined up in the DC area? Is that permissible across state lines? eta: I guess Golden Boy Molester will stay in the guest house on the compound until his house renovations are completed? No way he can venture out in public in NWA, even if people are generally favorable. There will be enough people giving him shit (rightfully so) that it would be prudent to continue keeping a very low profile for a while.
  5. City of Springdale responds to the complaint filed with the city on behalf of the Duggars (by a former city alderman) questioning the release of the police report. Surprising no one, they defend the action. Local video and a writeup herein: http://5newsonline.com/2015/06/08/no-misconduct-by-police-chief-springdale-mayor-says-about-release-of-duggar-incident-report/ eta: Posted ONLY so people could keep up with the actual proceedings, not as an opinion piece up for discussion of right or wrong/legal or illegal.
  6. I disagree that Benessa can fend for themselves. At present, they are wholly reliant on TLC (and its perks like People) and JB himself for their income. Will JB be able to support all these sons (and potentially, sons in law) once the TLC gravy train vanishes? He won't have as much capital to purchase and renovate homes for flipping, which I do think is their primary non-show business. Let's face it, JB has ten sons. He puts them to work pretty much full time when they're 13, so only Justin and Jackson are not working for him, although they certainly apprentice. So, eight sons, five working full-time for the Duggar machine, in addition to Ben. Now Josh needs a job. I think we can safely predict what's going to happen there. In a few years, JB will need to pay the remaining four sons salaries. Is house flipping that good in NWA?
  7. Well, someone has to graduate last in their class. :D
  8. I can't remember what thread people were trying to confirm the Huckabee connection to the Duggar PR team, but here's an article with that confirmation (cross-posted in the JB/Michelle thread since this guy is working in AR, not DC with Josh): http://www.newsweek.com/huckabees-connections-duggars-run-deep-340667
  9. Mechelle backed up and correctly called Jubilee a miscarriage later on. But yes, she originally called it a stillbirth. As for those asking about the Huckabee connection to the Duggar Crisis Team: http://www.newsweek.com/huckabees-connections-duggars-run-deep-340667
  10. Someone I know chopped the picture to just show Anna, and she looks quite stressed (sorry, I refuse to host pics to post here). This pic was taken the day after the first InTouch article on the 19th (signaling the police report to come). By heading home and hunkering down, Josh pretty much admitted that he knew it was the end of the line for him. By this point, the Duggars would have likely been alerted that InTouch had received the documents on the 19th. Even if they didn't know that, knowing about the first article and what it implied was enough. I imagine that Anna had just head the full truth of the matter the day before. She's never had a poker face, but one could also blame her non-smiling countenance on the fact that she was lugging around a near 2-year old, as well as a piece of luggage. Frankly, I think it was a combination of all factors. I can't imagine what life is like for her now. Being submissive and standing by your man, as Gothard demands, can't be easy for her.
  11. Yes the women can vote. Remember when Josh took a picture of Anna's ballot in the 2012 presidential election? He was literally hovering over her shoulder as if she would divert from the party line. Despite all of JB's faults, I imagine he lets his wife vote in peace. Then again, he knows she'll toe the party line. Many churches publish voter pamphlets; I don't think the Church of the Holy Blacked Out Warehouse is any different.
  12. We DO have evidence that Jana hasn't been allowed to marry. JB obviously hasn't approved anyone, and the Duggars claim that ALL the have girls turned down several men. Since we know that the guys would have to be approved by JB first, this statement is patently false. They have instead likely received lots of emails from all of those "weirdos" (tm Jessa), and dismissed them without a second thought. I think this is what the Duggars are referring to; there is no way that JB would have approved these guys without a family connection (that the Seewalds apparently had, prayer partners). Especially not given what we all now know. We've seen no guys around the TTH as we saw Ben and even Derick (spotted in family pictures standing next to Jill) during the "get to know you" phase. It appears that no one has even made it that far with her, UNLESS it was back in the early days of the show when they were less famous and not filming as much as they do today. If Josh was 20 then, Jana was 18 and given what we've seen since, plenty old enough to court.
  13. Actually, it's not a place as large as Texas. The Gothard party line has the world population inside the city limits of Jacksonville. :D
  14. The plane must have made some additional trips than what appear on the Flight Aware record. It only shows the plane flying to Tulsa on 5/26, returning on 6/3. The plane goes to Tulsa a lot, and we;ve discovered the PR guy is Huckabee's campaign manager. So that means the plane went somewhere else in this time period, returning by 6/2 at the latest, since the interviews were done the morning of the 3rd. I wish the flight record was more forthcoming; I'm dying to know where they found this guy, since I'm sure the Duggars flew this guy to the TTH for prep sessions.
  15. InTouch says that they have more stuff to release. They didn't even hint; they flat out made the statement. We shall see, I suppose.
  16. I imagine with Mechelle totally checked out, a lot more pressure has fallen on Jana's shoulders. Knowing these secrets, whatever they turn out to be, cannot be easy. But it sheds light on why she was never allowed to marry. JB/M need her more than she needs them. I hope she is somehow being compensated VERY well for all she does in that household. I can't imagine how hard her life is. :(
  17. She certainly knows where the bodies are buried, that's for sure.
  18. Well, they HAVE confirmed that this was made them go quiverfull, if they are not calling it exactly that. We do know that this is when they eschewed all birth control. It may have taken them a little longer to get rid of some of the "regular" trappings of life like Christmas trees, but they were full-on Gothard well before Josh went to school (they just had not been approved for ATI yet when it was time for him to start kindergarten). So yeah, I posit that the meeting with Dr. Wheat is what sent them down that rabbit hole. Let's face it, after the miscarriage, they had a kid (or two) a year for about 12 years straight after that. And they just got kookier and kookier as time went on; it wasn't a full-blast change from day one, but the belief was still there, even if the trappings of secular life still seemed to hang around for a while longer. It seems like they gradually phased some stuff out while adding in the Gothardite beliefs. I hope that makes some sense. It's like now when they're seemingly trying to distance themselves from Gothard (despite still speaking at the conferences). Their clothes have gone in the other direction, but it's pretty clear that nothing in their belief system has changed. It's just the packaging.
  19. The Post article pretty much confirms my guy feelings about how InTouch continues to handle this. I can't say I'm surprised.
  20. This was Dr. Wheat, who wrote the infamous Gothardite sex books that Josh got for his honeymoon. If he was at some rinky dink clinic, maybe it's the only place he could practice while espousing the garbage he fed the Duggars, who were apparently ripe for the picking. It's pretty much acknowledged now that this meeting is what sent them over the edge into fundamentalism.
  21. InTouch MUST have something more. They sure as hell aren't letting off the gas, are they?
  22. I can't wait to read Ben's fire and brimstone manifesto. Because y'all know it's coming...
  23. She's actually not due until early July. I don't think they ever confirmed her exact due date, but I want to say it's somewhere between the 3rd and 10th. I don't think they're going anywhere until M4 is safely delivered, much like what happened with the move to DC right after Marcus' birth.
  24. I lost my money post. But DAMN, I threw the Duggar Math out of the window. Yay. :)
