I am hoping they revisit the grandfather angle. Like maybe he was exploring and took a lot of artifacts he shouldn't have and he started it all and maybe that's why the family hasn't been touched yet...Was really hoping that was the end of the aunt. She was annoying from the first scene.

How much is Simon getting paid for the amount of abuse he gets from Farrah and her batshit family? I know depression is serious, but I just want Cate to get it together even if she sets small goals for herself each day..."today I'm going to walk to the mailbox and get the mail...tomorrow, at 10, I'll take Nova for a walk to the end of the block." Not big goals, just something she can easily achieve on a daily basis until she can work up to a small part-time job or even volunteering or school. Something away from Tyler and her family. She needs to ditch Kathleen. What is her purpose? I hope the new doctor is better and can give her a tangible plan and real therapy while also holding her accountable in a healthy way that negates Tyler's bullshit or even teaches her to do it for herself without being so negative. Not just adjust her meds and send her on her way with some sound bites that she and Tyler will bastardize later. One word, Amber, Target. Of course the child isn't going to wear that foolishness to school. I hate to say it because she seems like such a good kid, but they are setting Leah up to become a master manipulator given the the things she says to each parent. Right now she's trying to please them and tell them what they want to hear (except Gary getting up early-this was a gem), but I see that changing over time. Why on earth would she give Matt access to her credit cards? She deserves to go broke. Ryan shouldn't have an animal for any extended period of time let alone Bentley.

I think it would be interesting to see an atheist character, or a character who does question faith. ESPECIALLY in the black community. I want so much to like this show. I did some of the same things when I was younger...wanting a bat mitzvah (black girl) because my friends were having them. My parents mostly left religion up to me thinking that I would chose something later, when I actually chose nothing to their disappointment. I would like to see that represented. I too am going to have to check out the podcast. Also, I have to go back and read the other threads, but what is the hostility that Dre has towards Bow's family? I can understand a free-loading brother--a little-- but with this episode and the episode last season with her parents, it seems to go deeper than that and I don't get it when she is so patient with his mother.

OT we still have the lockbox on our garden hose pipe 8 years later because the original real estate agent never came back to get it...I just feel like I would need a machete first and foremost over bolt cutters in the event of a zombie apocalypse but I can't be bothered to get either at the hardware store. I don't think they'll care too much as long as they can confirm that she can say "would you like fries with that?" Because...now making change and finding the corresponding picture on the register may be hard especially with places moving towards healthier options that include more vegetables.

Oh puhlease, Vicki is beyond ridiculous with that neck brace. This is the best thing that could've happened to her. I love how she and Breanna were trying to out sick each other. Thank you professionals on this board because I thought it was weird that Catelyn would just pick some random place out of the phone book. It seems like her "therapist" would've been part of that decision process-"let's find the place where you are going to get the most out of it, not just something where you like the pretty pictures." I can't with all the money spending. What's the timeline? Is there no escrow or closing process? They put stuff in a box one minute, then are unpacking the next.

Burke was creepy as fuck with the smiling. I know it's not fair to judge because someone's not "acting right," but that was strange. I think this show has just about run its course... Who didn't guess that Chester wasn't leaving Punxatony? He's been saying that since he first appeared blurry on the show, and, Mary, I don't care anymore. Carmella is a little strange to me. The dress was fugly. What was that stupid feather? If I were Kate, I would stay away from the wedding, Jeremiah, and PA too. If the timeline is to be believed, goofy Jeremiah read her for filth after she let him stay in her apt and found a suit for him for his and Sabrina's "date," so piss off. You're not family. I won't lie...I've had a cider or beer in the morning (not on a work day) because it was the only cold thing and I was too lazy to deal with ice and a glass or making iced tea. I could see that fitting in with Joey's general laziness. So I don't think the Brenda/Travis exercise was really complete. He at least went to the church, Brenda didn't even get out of the car to talk to anyone...not that I would sign up for any of that foolishness in the first place. I don't know that I could be with someone who wasn't pro-choice, but as said eloquently above, I'm pro education first. People should be educated on their bodies and the financial, mental, emotional costs of having a child to avoid unplanned pregnancies--all bets are off to me for rape, incest, health of the mother. That said, I just believe people should have a choice whether or not to proceed regardless of the circumstances there should still be a fail-safe. Hailie will never grow up.
