  1. My cold, dark heart must be melting because I found the proposal to be very sweet. I really like them as a couple.
  2. Jazmin's parents need to have several seats, or in their world, pews. This was a prime example of what happens when you simply tell a child not to have sex and leave it at that. If I didn't know any better, I'd think Jazmin did this in hopes of getting away from them. I have no idea what they wanted from that boy. What were they talking about when they kept saying "God's order in our home"? They do realize they live in a house and not a cathedral, right? Are they hoping that if they keep him away long enough they'll be able to pass off the pregnancy as immaculate? Whatever happens between Dell and Jazmin, I'm hoping he will get custody sorted out through the courts because he's in for some headaches from her parents.
  3. As much as I loved the dance, I'm still traumatized by what they did to "Free Your Mind".
  4. I don't know what got into them today, but they were hilarious on Twitter earlier. Charlie got a hashtag called #Merylsaidit going and people were making up the most random statements and hashtagging them #Merylsaidit. Then Meryl threatened to shave his head.
  5. I've seen today's episode before, but the first case never fails to floor me with the plaintiff's sheer stupidity. Who the hell takes out for 1) someone you've known all of 5 minutes, and 2) without even knowing the loan's interest rate?
  6. I was completely fascinated by the wig on Delores the defendant in today's dog case. I was trying to figure out how that thing was staying on her head.
  7. I was expecting a bigger mess, especially with how they met, but it wasn't as bad as I was afraid it would be. The stupidity of chronic speeding tickets aside, I actually liked both of them. He worked, she went to school, they knew how to talk to each other and remove themselves from tense situations, the bar as been set pretty low this season, but I thought these two were the best ones we've seen. Word about his mother, though. Nosey and a huge enabler. I got the feeling she always tried to be more of a friend than a mother and the chaos of that house was the result.
  8. To say that person is unwell would be an understatement. I don't think they know much about anything and are just blinded by their hatred of Meryl and Charlie -- Meryl in particular, as they seem to have a special brand of deep seething hatred for her. Meryl and Charlie have never done a lift like that, so I have no idea what this person is talking about. You're not allowed to lay on the ice in ice dance, they would receive a severe deduction and the lift wouldn't count because it would be considered illegal. The only lift that I can even think would resemble that would be their swoop entrance lift from their Scheherazade FD, and even that's a bit of a stretch because really, they don't look anything a like. As for taking three years; that person lives under the delusion that Meryl and Charlie can't do anything right, while everything just magically happens to Virtue and Moir. Few teams will just unleash a new lift on a moment's notice, they take their time because ice dance lifts, more so that pair's lifts. are extremely complex. Meryl and Charlie have had their lift for three years and never used it because they didn't feel it was ready, and they didn't have a program that fit the lift. They blog is a trip, though. It's frightening how much this person hates Meryl, while at the same time, being kind of hilarious because I believe most of the comments are just the blogger talking to herself. For a while there they became convinced that Tessa is pregnant again, I don't know if they decided she wasn't or if they're waiting for another secret baby.
  9. Yeah, she's been coached and choreographed by Russians since she was a child, like I said, I highly doubt it was all sunshine and jokes. It's funny, though, I really wasn't expecting the Maks/Meryl partnership to work so well, or that they would have the chemistry they have. They've become one of my favorite partnerships and my favorite Maks partnership since Mel B.
  10. I never believed Hope's claims, she changed her story a lot and from what I read about her, she had a habit of saying things and never being able to back them up. I also read that this caused some tension between her and some members of the National Team. I don't think Maks scared Meryl, and I don't think he would ever do anything to her. And who knows, I highly doubt that it was all jokes and laughter when Meryl and Charlie were training, especially when it got close to the Olympics and World Championships, I wouldn't care to bet that words and maybe even an object or two have flown before. And considering she trained with hot-headed Scott Moir for a decade, I'm sure she's at least seen a couple tantrums.
  11. I personally loved the defendant's witness and her bible that she always takes to court because always "tries to tell the truth".
  12. I'll get us started. I don't believe for a second that Meryl was in any danger of going home and that they only put her there for the drama of pitting her against Charlie. In fact, I believe Candace was in more danger than Meryl and Amy but they called her safe early so they could get the drama of the three Olympians in danger.
  13. I think my favorite part from last night was when Charlie said he was Team Meryl and that he loved her, her smile said it all. The 10's were nice, but I think that meant far more to her.
  14. I would love to see Anna, in fact, I would love to see her replace Carrie Ann.
  15. Well coming from this Meryl fan, my opinion of Amy has nothing to do with Meryl. Whether she was on the show or not, I would still feel the same about Amy. Amy has said she doesn't wanted to be treated any different. I haven't been impressed with her dances (the exception being her quickstep and when she danced with Mark). I have tremendous respect for her and everything she has overcame, but I haven't been all that impressed with her dancing.
  16. Because that contestant is being treated with kid gloves. I'll just put it this way. Lean told Charlie his paso doble wasn't special, they would never, ever, say that to Amy.
  17. I don't think Charlie's elimination had anything to do with the Abby Lee/Maks/Meryl drama. From everything I've read, Charlie just hasn't been pulling in the votes this season, and this was before Meryl's off week. As much as I like the guy, and am sorry to see him go, I found myself struggling to remember what he danced by the time each episode is over. And from a personal standpoint, I find it ridiculous that some people may choose to blame Meryl for Charlie's elimination, she had no control over his votes.
  18. The song was "Just a Fool" by Blake Shelton and Christina Aguilera. A little ironic considering the show that DWTS competes in the ratings with.
  19. Meryl should make it easier on him and remind him that if all else fails, she can just sit on a chair while dances around her.
  20. "Shaking my head" people are breaking toes and ribs and going to therapy to try to learn choreography, yet there's Amy, propped up on a table and receiving 10's like there's no tomorrow. I'm sorry to see Charlie go, I was sorry to see Danica go, I'm even sorrier to see Candace and James in the finals. Candace is the lesser of the two evils, if I'm being honest, but James is the blandest bland that ever blanded. I felt sorry for Meryl, I can't imagine how awkward that must have been. You could tell she had no idea how to react when she was safe and Charlie was eliminated.
  21. I saw a recap from someone who was at the show and she said that whatever it is they have doesn't stop when the camera's stop rolling, yet oddly enough, they won't hold hands on camera, they held hands wherever they went, even when they came into the audience to talk to Maks' grandmother, but would stop that when the cameras came on.
  22. That dude was creepy. He looked like he should be an unsub on Criminal Minds.
  23. And he was on probation, no less. The TV case today was a classic. I loved that the plaintiff had managed to convince the defendant that because he was in the military, he could spy on him. I felt like some Judge Judy litigants had accident wandered into TPC this week, we don't usually get this kind of foolishness on this show.
  24. I think tonight may be the night the show jumped the shark, and it actually had very little to do with ALM. The storyboarding was never more obvious than it was tonight, it was like the producers just ran out of shits to give. The tongue bath they gave Amy was surreal, as if it were pre-written. I honestly believe that regardless of what she did, they would have said the same thing, her legs could have went flying, and she would have received a perfect score. I think season 18 is where the show and I part ways, and if Meryl gets voted off next week, then the end will come sooner for me, I won't stick around to watch Amy win.
  25. Maks told Danica not to be so condescending or sound condescending, It was a short clip so I have no idea what was actually going on, but it looked like Danica was talking throughout the brothers instructions and talking to Meryl about their (the brothers) insults to them, which I didn't hear. Meryl had this look on her face like "Now is the time when we listen".
