  1. Not looking forward to the "male bonding" coming up in tonight's episode. You know Jim Bob and John David are going to be massive jerks to the much more fit Ben (Seewald, for those of you who may know another Ben on the show) and Derick.
  2. Major kudos to Joy Anna for saying out loud that her mom misses being pregnant. I love that Joy still has a hint of spark. Michelle sounds so creepy each time she talks about grandbabies. She gets a weird look in her eyes.
  3. Though I am not a Ben (Seewald) fan, I certainly felt bad for him last night. He needs to run far, far away from this ridiculous mess! John David is such a jerk. I always kinda liked him, but he is turning in to just another Duggar. I have a feeling we will be seeing flashbacks to Jim Bob and Michelle's wedding ever episode for awhile. Boo. TLC needs to hurry this timeline up. Cripe, Jessa will be married before they even get to Jill's big day.
  4. The brides in the first episode last night were pretty blah. None of the weddings really caught my eye. They sure handed out some low scores though! Wow. I liked how the second episode really showed a variety of weddings and the themes weren't over the top. I was glad the Melissa McCarthy look-alike bride won (cannot for the life of me think of her name). She seemed fun and like she was game for anything. The young bride on that episode looked like JWoww and Susan (I only remember her name because that is my name) looked like a cross between Lea Michele and Chrissy Teigen. I felt bad that Carolyn's wedding seemed so scattered. I get that she wanted her kids to be part of the ceremony, but to just completely be running around and uncooperative would have kind of taken away from the ceremony for me. Her reception was kind of strange how the people just plopped down pizza boxes and 2 liters on the tables. Finally, here is an article with an interview with Crissy from the Charleston episode. Worth a read... http://tvruckus.com/2014/09/12/preview-four-weddings-in-charleston-bride-crissy-exclusive-interview-video/
  5. I am glad this was it for the season. Overall, all the episodes were disappointing. I'm not sure I will even tune in if this show comes back.
  6. I'm almost to the point where I cannot even watch their segments on the show. Jessa always has that super smug superior look on her face and Ben looks like a deer in headlights. I feel like Ben is always the butt of some joke with the Duggar family. None of them seem to take him too seriously.
  7. James is now my favorite Duggar. What a cutie with some humor. The Derick and Jill parts of the show were watchable, but I picked up a magazine when Jessa and Ben were on. I just can't with those two. Jennifer and Michelle going to pick up the glasses... it seemed kind of thrown in to the episode. It sure was awkward though!!
  8. Dan was way way too much. We laughed whenever he came on the screen. That baby voiced lady with the huge lips= nails on a chalkboard.
  9. My thoughts on the episode (though they pretty much echo all the others here): - I think it was kind of a jerk move to have the Mothers Day brunch knowing Derriks mom was sick and most likely wouldn't be able to attend in person. - Amen to those who also thought a chaperone at the hospital was completely unnecessary. Jill and Derrik are adults. They were going to visit his ailing mother. I highly doubt they would have been thinking of slipping off in to a supply closet to get it on on their way. - I am not at all a Ben fan, but poor thing, he was totally trapped in to living with them. I have a feeling he and Jessa like the idea of marriage, but with the moving in thing, sh*t just got real! - None of those kids seemed sincere in their Mothers Day wishes to Michelle. Good. - Jessa, those rolls were not burnt. It is also not cute that you think it is cute that you aren't good in the kitchen. It just makes you look stupid. - Josh and Anna were hilarous in their attempt to not be put out that Jill and Derrik were getting a "mansion." - Poor Jana. - It seems that this episode was kind of a hodge podge, like they were trying to cram a lot in so they could skip ahead to the wedding stuff. - It's kinda anti-climatic since we all have seen photos of the wedding and know about Ben and Jessa's engagement. - Why must they always say "Ben (Bin) Seewald"? Do they have several other Bens in their life that they would get him confused with??
  10. Loreal looked like Courtney Love last night.
  11. I was showing the "gun picture" to a friend last night and neither of us found anything wrong with it. It seemed to be nothing other than a fun photo op on a family outing. For as much as Josh gets on my nerves, I fail to see what the big deal was this time.
  12. I'm a little late to the party, just catching up on my taped shows, but wow. Scott was super creepy, and, as another poster mentioned- what is up with the sticking caps in the house? That drives me nuts. I also hate when they sit around with coats on. I feel like they won't be lasting much longer as a couple, and I think Courtney and Dayton will be better off.
  13. I have to say, this season (all two episodes- haha) has been pretty boring. While I have no favorite, I do have a fun story with Ruben. During the show, I tweeted that all the contestants are annoying. He tweeted me back "that sucks." Anyway, we exchanged a few tweets. He seems pretty cool.
  14. I caught the episode for the second time Tuesday night. I caught the "feeling a release" part this time around! Of course, I ended up looking at their page on The Knot. They got engaged on March 29. Also of note... some items on their wedding registry: Fruit Loops, Malt O Meal and plenty of twine and colored duck tape!
  15. I swore I wasn't going to watch this, as I have always muted the TV when she is on, but i couldn't find the remote, so I was stuck. Awful, awful, awful. The only plus? Grandma Mary got out of the Tinker Toy Dreamhouse for a couple weeks- run grandma! Run!!!
  16. This was pretty depressing, though most of the girls featured this season have been. As someone who has numerous adopted family members, I kept yelling "Put the baby up for adoption!" during the whole thing, especially after he was born.
