All I can say is that unless there was some major editing or other changes from the play to the screenplay, the character of Rose is a lead character. Therefore, Davis should be in the lead category.

As a theatre buff, I am so thankful to see that Fences is not only happening, but it's EXACTLY what I pictured a movie version to be. Rose is my dream character to play when I get older. Yes, give them the Oscars already.

Did anyone watch the USA men's bronze match? great game. They played hard. I started playing volleyball when the rules were new. I am in favor of the rally scoring because it means that everyone has to be on top of their game at all times. The games definitely move faster. As for the libero, I love it. For my first year playing, I should've been a libero because I was damn good at recovering balls deep, but I couldn't serve to save my life that first year. That happens when you have teammates yelling at you every time it's your turn to serve.

Where is this listed in the definition of "sport"? Also, how on Earth is golf "not a sport"? That's a first.

Couldn't the same be said for artistic gymnastics? The same disagreements happen there, too.

Well, that's not the way the announcers made it seem. They said that touching the beam is equal to a fall. If my interpretation is wrong, I blame it on them because that's exactly what they said.

I think it's total bullshit that hands on the beam is equal to a fall. This isn't floor. I do think hands on the beam is just an *extreme* balance check, and it should be deducted as such. However, even if Simone hadn't done that, would she have definitely received the gold? I'm sure her "fall" cost her the silver, though. It's better to medal than not medal at all. #TeamBronze. I TOTALLY believe this. Maybe it's because I didn't grow up in a city, but I think that's totally normal. I went to a public high school, located in a wealthy neighborhood, in a Southern college town, and we had kids there who lived in the projects plus people who lived in the extremely wealthy neighborhoods surrounding the school. Zoning. Sometimes, it has to do with the school's athletics.
