Not sure Chad even knew he had those feelings until recently The only one that really surprised me was saying he thought she faked her mental illness. Other than that it was just a lot of hurt. The thing is it is kind of true that when you love someone with a mental illness there is all hurt but your emotions don’t count because they are sick. Then you feel wrong for having feelings. It’s very complicated. Eli and Lani both have soft spots for Julie but it seems Eli did not think about his mom at all.
