  1. I know some of y'all are jumping off the Sara train but I'm feeling the same with Jedi. When she came in I bought the line she was selling as an objective "call it like I see it" girl but at hasn't been the case at all. There are still things I agree with her on but she's been just as biased and unobjective as the rest of them. I miss Meredith.
  2. I liked the episode and all but that aging makeup was so terrible and totally sucked me out of the show.
  3. Sara bringing that up was ballsy. I didn't know what she was talking about.
  4. I'm enjoying this mix of 7. It keeps things fresh. With CCB will gone filming for a few weeks it'll be interesting to see who replaces her in one of the everyday slots. Paula is the most logical choice. I also wonder if theyll address Whoopis comments on Wendy Williams about this being her last season.
  5. I appreciate Sara is going for the "undecided/objective" panelists. She's not someone who repeats the same talking points over unlike... well... everyone else. Besides Sunny who is ideal. Joy was bothersome today and has been for a few weeks...She gets tripped up and doesn't make great points and seems angry and then doesnt engage in much else. I get the election is scary but she's making it almost harder.
  6. There was a moment before they cut to commercial break (how convenient) where Whoopi was ranting and CCB brought up Hilary and how she didn't agree with her on something (of course) and CCB basically says "Whoopi I'm agreeing with you!" And Whoopi is speechless for a moment (so rare) and she has to stop her ramblings and readjust WHAT she's saying just so she's contrarian again. I liked that CCB of all people got Whoopi twisted up.
  7. I think it says a lot the Cast and Crew (repeatedly) go all out to celebrate Sara. Says a lot about her.
  8. Star used to always talk about how a company can read your emails if they are sent from your company email. That about all I've got for today's show.
  9. Yes Whoopi, the American Politcal Pundits would be lucky to have you moderate the first debate and surely must be clamoring to make it happen.
  10. I get what Candace was trying to say--faith is important to her so if it's not important to a candidate she won't waste her time on them. Same with the Russia/Putiin convo. She has family in Russia who feel protected. Therefore he is good at protecting people. Very black and white way of thinking that is pretty self involved. I still don't think she has a mean bone in her body. Also I like Jedi, sorry. She actually brings a different voice to the show. For example, She was the one to bring up good counter arguments to the Trump/Putin jerk fest.
  11. Candace should not have gotten boo'd. That was embarrassing. She also shouldn't have walked out. That was also embarrassing.
  12. CCB and Joy joking she's a Liberal...Whoopi "is that all <to the story?> Sometimes Whoopi shade is good shade. Never the Valley Girl voice though.
  13. Awkward start to the beginning of the show... everyone seemed nervous. Whoopi was even more checked out than normal. Wonder what happened before they went live. Glad to have it back!
  14. Whoopi wasn't a fan of Sunny her first go-round iirc. Watching Sunny and Jed spar is great. when Whoopi tries to interject she just looks out of her league. At least Sarah tries to interject with a humanistic, conciliatory approach.
  15. Whoopi asking Sherri if she was there on Friday was probably a passive-aggressive dig at what was announced at the start of the season--Sherri was supossed to be one of the rotating "Friday" co-hosts that just never came to be. Molly Sims? Padma? Stacey?
  16. Sunny/Jed have that same tension Joy and Starr used to have.
  17. 1. Odd seeing Paula in a different seat, going from co-head of the table to next to Joy. I did like having her back. She was also more vocal, which is either because of having Jed there as reinforcement, or because her position truly is on the line and she wants to fight for her job. 2. Loved Sunny showing Jed whose boss with facts.
  18. What an odd return from commercial break when Whoopi put the kibbosh on Jedi's "clickbait" about Hilary and how it came to there attention they "just had that conversation few weeks ago" so they were going to skip it. Who made that call? Jedi looked embarrassed. Odd because they repeat stuff all the time.
  19. I don't mind Jedi. The show has to have a dissenting voice and unlike so many others she has a sense of humor on (some) things and has said the phrases "fair point" and "you're right" which many past (and current) panelists on both sides never can bring themselves to do.
  20. Whoopi was talking about RO when she proudly proclaimed "this show" was the only one to take on Donald, right? Cause I don't remember that otherwise. I just remember her saying "a lot can happen between now and the election" everytime he or Hilary or Bernie were brought up and she didn't feel like talking about it. She did call him out on his remarks from the get go I'll give her that. It's just annoying how selective she is.
  21. Does Whoopi realize she was fighting Sunny and Jedi for no reason? They all agreed. She's so contrarian. Whoopi: *Complains about the tax money never going where it's supposed to go* Sunny: Where is all the tax money going? Whoopi: We know where it's going! *Explains she has no idea where it goes* Also, Jedi says "ooge" instead of huge.
  22. I like the new Wives. Refreshing!
  23. TI wasn't half bad. Quite a surprise. I wonder what Paula thought of e Page Six story. It cant be easy to come into work after a story like that breaks. Even if it is false. She seemed upbeat at least.
  24. Am I the only one that doesn't mind revolving panelists? It keeps the show interesting. Remember how stagnant the Sherri/Lis/Joy/BW/Joy years got by the middle/end? It also allows for different and fresh perspectives. Especially if the chemistry isn't there.
  25. Agreed with the Sunni and Sara praise. I also don't mind Jedi. She had a sense of humor about herself and her politics that Elisabeth and Paula don't have. With that being said as a full time panelist I think my tune would change a la Raven and even Michelle. Better in smaller doses.
