This show just makes no sense. Lazy writing that thinks it's clever. Why get invested when everyone is evil and there's just a bad guy who is doing bad things because of another bad guy behind the scenes?

It could be much, much, much worse on this show re: "opposing view" panelist. And it has been. Jedi does what Elisabeth could never, ever do and that's criticize a Republican. She is the closest to an Independant we've gotten and I appreciate that. One could even argue, and would have plenty of juice that there isn't a true "conservative" voice/view on the panel.

The hosts (especially whoopi) were in such good moods, it was a nice change of pace from the recent few weeks.
-
This show is the funniest show on tv right now.
-
I think had Hillary won Whoopi would have left, but now with Trump & Co? She probably feels like her voice is needed now more than ever.
-
Still no love lost between Whoopi and Paula.
-
Whoopis voice today was not meant for a talk show. And why does she never say when Joy is off but Joy always does when Whoopi is? Cause she's the moderator?
-
Yeah if Reba is so a-political, she really has no business being on Hot Topic. Any celeb for that matter. I felt how uncomfortable she was, especially since she's a country artist. They've all got brands to protect. Her and Joy are lookalikes too. And how did no one bring up the Dixie Chicks whole "Shut Up and Sing" and black listing during the discussion on Drake and concert goers? At least that would have been a different discussion.

Whoopi can't even bring herself to agree with or even thanks Sunnys complimenting of Whoopi being a comedienne.
-
Yeah, REALLY think whoopi needs to show some humility for once and realize she is NOT all knowing and the history of judge and rulings just may be one of those things.
-
Whoopi introducing a topic, Jedi countering it, Joy countering her, Whoopi takes takes over and says Listen, Joy interrupts her again and brings up a similar subject that sometimes completely disrupts the flow of the convo..... This is leaving little room for Sunny (who goes by her head) and Sarah (who goes by her heart) with no time to And lately they are the ones I want to hear most from.
-
That Whoopi/Sunny conversation was interesting and wish it went longer. It's interesting how Sunny seemed she was like almost deferring or holding back to Whoopi though.
-
Loved the Taylor discussion because they all contributed, the audience gasped and there was a disagreement between Sara and Sunny (so random) that was handled maturally.
-
I have really appreciated Whoopi the past week. This show needs her voice at this time...and just as she's leaving?

"I can't do this anymore" Whoopi definitely isn't coming back after this season.
-
Well today's show was a mess. I did wonder CCBs opinion of the Dr. discussion.....and I appreciate Joy playing "devils advocate" but even Paula did it better.
-
Update: Today Jedi referred to herself as a Conservative. Jedi did bring up a great point about how, yes, some celebs ARE afraid to support him for backlash but Whoopi just wasn't having it. Bringing up Hasselback?! And then Nicolle? So bizarre. Jedi also looked great today.
-
Today Jed referred to herself as an Independent FYI. Gone are the days of her as a Libertarian?
-
Wonder if that'll be the last live show of the year?
-
I do appreciate that with Whoopis favorite things, the products had a backstory that meant something to her and she didn't pick them for superficial or trendy reasons. Plus, the audience finally got stuff!
-
Whoopi was in a mood today. And the Xmas discussion/rant she went on made no sense. Still chuckling over yesterday's snaffoo causing Joy to have to speak into an actual microphone for a bit.
-
Great show today, but like Sarah pointed out, no one on the panel voted for Trump. Paula probably did but she's never on and won't admit to it. They will need someone who is an out and proud Republican soon. The Christmas decorations this season are perfect.

Marian's manager is the definition of a Yes Person. They all are to a degree and it's so blatantly obvious.
-
Agreed....the last few minutes with them on the couch felt genuine and appropriate. I did like how Paula mentioned the show is "committed" in making sure CCBs POV will be represented at the table going forward. But by whom?
-
I enjoy this show the most when it's people holding different opinions so I appreciate what CCB brought. Faith was her main issue, but that was about it. I believe she's a nice person not made for a show like this that forces you to engage in sometimes ugly conversations. She was cast as the "Republican" right after Raven was hired as the "young Liberal" (remember there ONE fight about the baker/cake) but that just wasn't either of them. She has a softness to her that Elisabeth and even Paula lack. I loved that she thanked Whoopi and Joy first and foremost and then mentioned Michelle along with the other fallen Panelists. Im most curious to see what the show does next--do they give her seat to Sunny full time? Integrate Paula back in more? Make Jedi stop pretending she's a Libertarian and let her Republican flag fly?
