Wonder if the big bosses made Whoopi come in so Joy wouldn’t be the moderator in case Pence tuned in. Kinda of like when Sherri was banned from the show that one day and was wandering the streets crying...

He is basically calling on ABC to can The View or fire Joy...he is disgusting.

You could tell when Whoopi was defending Adam not meeting with Pence, MM got hyper defensive about her decision to talk with the Trumps.

I will say in MMs defense I, too, am sick of the panelists and guests bringing up John McCain and the whole “What would John McCain do?” mentality. It’s exhausting. Some of us really don’t care, nor idolize him. With that being said she doesn’t handle it well at all...and something tells me her husband has more political influence on her than her dad these days.

The show is the shortest it’s ever been, clocking in around 35-36 minutes without commercials. Guess apple and eve and all those view your deals aren’t paying enough for free promotion. What makes the show feel shorter is the awkward and abrupt outros by our moderator and the fact that just when’s the conversation gets good someone takes over, pontificates and then fumbles into the commercial break.

The Sara segment was so enlightening. Not only did it show how much the show needs her, but also how rude of Whoopi to mispronounce the name and Joy not even to know the gender. Props to Star for doing what no other panelists do and call out Whoopi out on getting something wrong and flat out telling her.

Whoopi has definitely fumbly lately. She’s been good so far this season so it’s weird to have Whoopi of the past few seasons back.

Loved MMS glasses as well. Did not love the endless commercials and the abrupt outros AND intros to them.

Great show today. Felt like adults having an actual conversation.

SHOCKED MM doesn’t consider herself a feminist cause she feels “left out” (awww) and loved that Sunny (and AN) responses.

Whoopi made very little sense today to me on most of the topics. And she was back to pontificating....and passive aggressive toward Sunny.

I’d fear they’d get rid of Sunny before anyone else. Whoopi clearly doesn’t respect her and tbh Sunny has no one intellectually equal on the panel to spar with anymore. Jedi and her had a great rhythm that is missed imho. I constantly feel like Sunny is dumbing herself down to “fit in” ..... remember BW constantly talked down to her audience.

I don’t think MM liked Durbim bringing up her dad. That’s when her attitude went from bad to worse.

Totally didn’t think it was anybody but the producers decision to go to a different topic after break!

Whoopi interrupting Ana Tom correct her made me nervous because.....Whoopi correcting her on anything would be a shock.

Proud of this show truly showcasing all sides. This show is more relevant and important more than ever

Loved today’s show and that Ana got her own picture in the credits. I, too, think Sunny plays dumb as a means to get the conversation going.

Sunny and Megan sat out the interview/game. Id guess that whenever the producers or Whoopi, or whoever sweet talked MM into joining the show kept telling her “you are needed to help educate the masses on how the Republican mind works” and she has just never let that go.

Today’s show clocked in at 36 minutes of content....unbelievable.

Agreed, good show today. Sara talking about dating and whatnot was so genuine and the panelists all contributed and were supportive. Great segment!

It’s weird to think we could have gotten a Whoopi/Rosie O/Sunny/SE panel back in the day. also I love Sara but her use of “optics” borders on MMs use of “tribal”.

On a side note, I love how they decorate the set for the holidays.

Ana is amazing. I think her filling in for Sara would be ideal.
