  1. Really? Clips of a Whoopi movie? And awkwardly transitioning from the crazed ex-boyfriend to how Molly Sims lost weight? Also that Nicolle/Anthony Anderson interview was even more awkward for a while there.
  2. It became way too gimmicky. They grasped at straws to try and "keep it fresh" and it became unrecognizable. Everything from The Save, to the way they were inconsistent with the pre-live voting rounds, to the complete lack of chemistry and critiques of the judges contributed. This show was always cheesy fun and when they tried to make it something more than, it just didn't work. With that being said, it was bound to falter at some point, but this show ended up completely collapsing. It went from Event Television to Popular Show to Boring.
  3. Whoa, whoa, whola... Nicolle was a SORORITY PRESIDENT? and Whoopi & Rosie know and believe in God? and Whoopi even knows *exactly* what he said? This show surprises me every day!
  4. I think Heather sees her as some majestic "peace maker" and SuperFriend who wanted to make sure Kristen's voice was heard. That's fine and noble but Bethenny was brought on the show to spice things up. She knows her mission is to cause sparks and that's what she's doing. She did take it overboard but then again that's been her MO this entire season.
  5. That Kandi seems to be so on "Team Apollo" is the most shocking thing to me. Even with eye rolls and letting everyone know she herself has been to the prison and it's not that complicated to bring kids there. That wasn't necessary other than to make Phaedra look like a hypocrite. I think the Phaedra/Nene friendship is really upsetting to her. Perhaps she thought her and Phaedra would have been able to survive whatever they are going through without Phaedra turning to a common "enemy" but Kandi and Phaedra barely speak. Nene/Phaedra see this a new alliance on the show and probably do give each other divorce support. Kandi also probably sees it another betrayal since she and Nene have never truly gotten along and barely tolerated each other since season 2. This is the type of drama the show needs (sorry girl!). Kandi has seen Nene discard friends like trash and they have history. No more of this producer driven Claudia drama (seriously, you don't even know Nene) or the repeated pettiness of Porsha and Kenya. Even the Kenya/Phaedra drama needs to be gone or one of them should be. Viewers can only take so much. RHONJ eventually got caught up in the same cast, same story lines for way too long and it helped drive viewers away from the franchise.
  6. Whoopi having to apologize for continuing to talk about a relevant "hot" topic that dares go past the typical 1.5-3 minute limit. The shame! So Mario now has his own taped segments. Thank goodness! I just hope Rosie & her cousin Sixto don't get one dedicated to boxing. Speaking of Rosie, what in the world is she talking about most of the time? She seems very intelligent but she goes off on these long tangents and its too much. Then when someone SEMI challenges her, like today with Raven she gets very defensive. So odd. I actually do hope Raven gets the spot as she seems to not be afraid to say outlandish things. We as the audience are owed at least that much. This Cristela thing won't work as she will clearly toe the ABC line. She won't want to get too whacky because of her other show. It's what stifled Joy in the last years on the panel.
  7. I'm honestly still flabbergasted that one of the first thinks Nicolle said about the Bruce interview was a joke about him being a Republican. That seemed so tacky and so not the point. And the Baltimore discussion today wasn't up to snuff. Was it a promotional tie-in with HBO's the Wire? And they really don't seem to like Padma much do they? I guess anyone that has a dissenting opinion at times has no business being on the panel! Your job is simply to laugh at everything.
  8. Just chiming into echo the hypocrisy of Whoopi's family doing a reality show. Whoopi who has been dismissive since day one about reality tv. Now she's trying to spin it as two strong women not being bitchy solving problems? Oh, okay Whoopi. And is Cristela going to be permanent? Does her show's studio share the same space as the Views? Cause otherwise why is she always there. Are they just giving up trying to find anyone long term or waiting until next season? On another note..I'm really glad Rosie is passionate about boxing but that doesn't mean the rest of the viewing audience is. Then again, when was the last time they actually cared about the audience.
  9. I think TPTB got excited with Harry vs Quentin last week and decided to give him more airtime this week with his hilarious drawings and ribbing of JLo and Keith. Not. They are trying so hard to be the Voice and they aren't. They were the original Voice but that ship (and judging panel) has sailed. I do appreciate HCJ sometimes has other critiques than Keith and JLo.
  10. This show is such a waste of an hour. I didn't think it could be worse than last season, but...it is. Can't believe I'm going to follow that sentence with an even more absurd one but I miss BW. ONLY because she kept Whoopi from totally and completely overtaking the show as she has done. The fact that Whoopi, as the moderator introduces a "hot topic" (which is now only about 1.5 minutes a piece I mean what is the point?) says something about it that everyone chuckles over (so much chuckling) and then the other co-hosts say something about it and then Whoopi says even MORE about it, including the final word is like groundhogs day. I remember when Meredith was the moderator and the others used to sometimes tease her for never taking a stance on a topic one way or another. She would throw out a hot topic, the others would DEBATE it and then after an intelligent conversation they would move on. That is what a moderator is there for. Not to lecture, not to give there opinion on every little topic and assume yours IS the correct one, but to keep things flowing in an interesting manor. I don't think Whoopi needs to go, but I do wish we had someone on the panel to challenge her. Heck, challenge anyone on anything! Remember when Star used to sometimes take the opposite position just to play devils advocate? Spark some discussion? No one says anything substantive on this show. This is exactly what happened last year with Jenny & Sherri and now this panel. It's no wonder Rosie O got so frustrated but that is the show now. Complete idiot hot topics. How does TBTB not see that the show at its finest DID have lively debates? I miss Joy & Elisabeth in that regards. You can not have interesting show with people sitting around a table making lame jokes, laughing at lame jokes and agreeing on every topic. Nothing ever progresses. I hate to say it but Geddie was right--there must be sparks. There must be something. Right now there is a whole lot of nothing. And why again was this show moved from the ABC Entertainment Division to the News Division when there is nothing newsworthy about it?
