  1. This. The writers have made some mistakes with Barry/Iris, but they've written them so well this season. They are not over the top, they come across very realistic to me. Some have complained about their kisses, but the situation surrounding each kiss made sense to me. Standing on the grave of Barry's mother was not the place for heavy make out,
  2. Thank you, I like Conner, I really do, but, he's been very disrespectful to Michaela on this show, and as much as I love and enjoy his dynamic with Michaela and Asher, the show has never shown us why she would be friends with him, I still don't get why she can't be friends with Laurel. The fact that most discussion surrounding Conner is based on Colivier, shows how the writers have badly treated Conner as a character on his own, and this is one of the reasons I think, Oliver should not have lasted beyond the first season. they should have waited a bit before giving him a permanent love interest. I still don't trust Oliver, he is way too interested in what is going on with the Keaton gang. As much as I love the keaton five, the heart of this show to me is Annalise, Bonnie and Frank and I don't want any of them to die. Please let it be Nate. I still think Laurel might be the one who ends up dieing, the whole love triangle with Wes and Frank and the baby drama plays to me like they are setting up her exit. Not just her, I don't think anyone is safe, the real mystery might not even be who is under the sheet.
  3. This so much, I know I'm in the minority, but I never liked Oliver.
  4. I was one of the few that liked them from that club scene last season, but I'm still surprised at how I have come to love them, they are my favorite couple on the show.
  5. Jesus, I can't believe that this man actually won. I understand why some Christians voted against Hilary, especially with the fear of abortion being legitimized, but what I don't get is why they would vote for Trump. That really baffles me, Trump is the furthest person from a Christian. I m Christian myself, and Christianity is built on love and not hate, '' Love your neighborer as yourself''. We are thought to love and tolerate each other, not hate and divide, that is not Christ-like at all, why would these Christians vote for a man that ran his campaign on hate? I also read that most white women voted for him, what do you guys make of that?
  6. I'm not American, but from what I see here and on social media, I can't understand why anyone would still vote for Trump, how far dose he have to go before, some of his followers turn against him. From some of the things I'm seeing, dose he really have a shot at winning? Some people are freaking out, and though, it might have no effect on me if he wins, I find that possibility frightening. I hope he doesn't win and that come Tuesday, we will all be cheering his defeat at the polls.
  7. I love how the romance was written this episode, and sincerely I find no fault in it. The Joe/Iris/Barry scenes killed me lol. It was understandable that Joe and Barry felt awkward about it. This Iris doesn't care, maybe because for however long in this post-flaspoint timeline, she've been on the outs with Joe and therefore doesn't really care what he thinks. I really love that they communicate with each other about their problems, I hope it continues, and Joe better get with that hot D A. I really want them to write more interactions with Iris and Caitlin, its really glaring that the only two women on the team doesn't hangout.
  8. Great episode, I think the best this season for me. I love character interactions, the flash characters all feel like family to me, so I Love it when they focus on the characters. I'm going to miss Harry and Jessi, but I am curious about new Wells. I am interested to see what direction they will take Caitlin, will she become a villain? Jessi/Wally were cute. Barry with the super-speed to pretend like he wasn't kissing Iris and His awkwardness with Joe was hilarious. More than anything I like that the writers are letting Barry/Iris talk about their issues, that how adults deal with problems. I just hope they don't screw them up by manufacturing drama for them, that's the fastest way to get people fed up with a pairing. Just let them have a loving matured relationship. Joe was not against Barry and Iris kissing, he just felt weired watching it, thats normal for an over protective parent like Joe, fact is, most fathers would be uncomfortable with it. Its okay for the show to address the new dynamic between the three, it would be more weired if they just act like nothing has changed. I think they will now move on from it, especially as Barry is getting his own place. I love that Joe might be getting some this season with the D.A., about time. Mirror master and top were okay. I thought we would get Captain Cold this episode, uncool show. Great episode.
  9. I never liked Oliver and Nate and wanted either of them to be the one under the sheet. I wanted Oliver gone because he ruined Conner's character for me, it was too early in season one to bring in true love for conner, and that made most of his story revolve around oliver. I am happy now that they are broken up, I hope the never get back together. Nate is just boring, he adds nothing to the show and I don't find him sexy. But I'm starting to think that non of the regulars are under the sheet, but that doesn't mean one of them is not going to die. I think, once who is under the sheet is revealed and we all sigh in relief then bam! one of the regulars will die, and right now I think it might be Laurel or Nate. I like Laurel, so it Better be Nate or Oliver, if I'm lucky it would be both. I really like Bonnie/Frank. Its ironic that I initially didn't care about both, but now I do. I don't know how I feel about Wes and his girlfriend. I love Michaela/Asher/Conner. I can't wait to get more insight on Michaela's background, and I love her scenes this episode.
  10. Oh my Good, the Empire I love is back! I love everything about this season except for Cookie's new boo. I am so glad that they are focusing on Andre this season, the actor is the best actor with Taraji and Howard, and I am loving his story line, Andre my love, hang in there. for the first time in a while I love Jamal's love interest, He is so sexy and I love that he was in the military, I am already interested in seeing his and Jamal dynamic play out. My boo Hakeem is crazy and spoiled as always and I am loving all his songs this year, he is really coming hard this season. I love his chemistry with the new girl, but I want them to be just friends. Tiana is looking beautiful as always, but I didn't like her song. I love Tiana but they keep bring girls that can out-sing her, Veronica, Hakeem's ex-fiancée (can't remember her name) and now the new girl. But I still want her and Hakeem back together and I wish she would develop a friendship with the new girl. Luscious, is still as crazy as ever and I still love to hate him. I love luscious and Cookie's back story. I am enjoying Anika and luscious' mother. Oh, and I miss Rhonda, but I understand why Anika had to live, we get more drama with her. Welcome back empire.
  11. Thank you! Just like you said, the writers had a good idea but the execution was silly. It made no sense for Barry to change the timeline again, there was no urgency. I accept it because atleast Barry learned his lesson about changing the past. With all the hype about this episode, I was underwhelmed. I was one of the few that was excited about flashpoint, just for the new direction it might take us the season, this episode did not get me excited about the season. Westallen was cute and all, and there chemistry is still there, but I just didn't buy it this episode. Why would Iris throw away her life and existence for a guy she just met, not just her, why should any of them believe Barry? I hate the writers implying that Joe fell apart because, Barry the Saviour was not in his life, even though he has two beautiful children. The few good things I loved this episode: Iris and Wally fighting crime Caitlin getting kidnapped and wandering if she was kidnapped and asking if she could leave after attending to Wally. It was hilarious. I know this is not a popular opinion, but I'm glad Iris and Joe is on the outs. The writers have never given priority to Joe/Iris, and as a daughter who is very close to her dad, I always hated that. But with this change, they might spend time dealing with repairing that relationship, which might give both Iris and Joe, screen time, without Barry intruding. This story line will piss me off if their reason for being estranged has any thing to do with Barry. I would prefer it if it's about her mother and Wally, or even her job. Finally, as much as I love westallen, they need to give Iris scenes outside of Barry and Starlabs and they need to use this new timeline and write westallen better, they have chemistry, but the writing has to be there too. Show them working together and being the bestfriends the are supposed to be. And please can smart Barry comeback?
  12. This is the worst Xmen movie IMHO. As someone that have never read the comics, I never liked Scott and Jean. I hated, them in the first trilogy and I still hate them, I just don't get the appeal, this must be different for comics readers, but from the movie perspective, Jean is just a mutant with Professor-like powers and Scott just shots fire from his eyes, they both bore me to tears. Every time the movie cuts to them I get mad, then movie then pissed me off by killing Alex who I loved from first class just to make Scott sad, what a waste. I prefer Rogue and Iceman to Jean and Cyclops wish we got them in this movie. Funny enough, even though Storm never had much to do from the first trilogy, I found her entertaining because she have some cool powers. when I heard that this movie would have a young storm I was excited, but its a shame that this franchise is not interested in developing their minority characters, at this point I believe Storm is added just for diversity sake. I liked the actress playing Storm, what a waste. I just don't get why Apocalypse needed the horsemen, except for Magneto, none of them were that powerful and the xmen kicked their asses. The action scenes were so poor and uninspiring except for Quicksilver scene. I thought Apocalypse was controlling them, but they were able to turn away from him, which begs the question, why did they join him in the first place? for power? Why would Magneto even join him? thats out of character for him. Why bring back Moira? she did nothing but follow them around. As much as I love Erik and Charles, I did not enjoy them here. I don't buy that the Erik from DOFP would settle down and have a kid, I didn't feel anything about his family dying and I didn't feel anything from Charles either. This movie just felt empty to me. At least I got some beautiful Wolverine and Quicksilver scene. First class and Xmen2 are both tied in as best Xmen movie for me followed by days of future past. At least, I still get Erik, Charles and Raven, I really loved their dynamic from first class and days of future past. I am really shocked that comic book fans hates Mystic/Raven. She is one of my favorites from the movies. In the original trilogy, she didn't have much development but she was a kick ass character and was very enjoyable for me and in the first Class trilogy I loved what they did with her, especially her relationship with Erik and Charles. This goes to show how comic book fans and non-comic book fans can see things differently. The characters comic book fans are bored with (Wolverine, Magneto and Mystic), might be characters the general audience actually like. I don't know, maybe I'm loosing interest in Xmen (except for Deadpool), they really need to make some dramatic changes to get people interested in this franchise again, its getting repetitive and boring.
  13. This, and also be a big sister to wally, now that Joe have a son, I dont want them pushing Iris out and make all the relationship Barry/Joe/Wally. I heard Iris was closer to Wally in the comics, I hope they do that. Please, let Barry grow-up and make his own decisions, let the team be backup, I don't want them telling him, run Barry, run ever again. Less pep-talks and crying, we all know Grant looks pretty when he cries but you are over dong it show, it makes him look like an over grown baby. Bring back crime scene Barry and happy Barry, no more sad Barry. Lets have more reporter and badass Iris. I love the, "You get behind me" Iris. show her on the streets investigating and at her place of work, she can hang at star labs , but only when necessary. Lets have more of Iris' point of view. Westallan have great chemistry, don't waste it, less destiny talks and more organic buildup. And please whenever you get them together, no makeup and breakups its tiring, this couple can work without drama. Give Caitlin more to do, make her and Iris friends. Give Cisco a girlfriend. Cisco/Iris friendship would be great too. Lets see Joe in a relationship. Bring back Tom, as Wells, revers flash or anybody, I just want him on my screen. And bring back Jessie too, Jessie/Wally will be great. Please do Flash point well.
  14. In what world is Danielle a better actress than Candice? maybe on Earth10. Her doppleganger was bad and cheesy. She handles every scene the same way, she waving her arms, bends her neck and dose weird things with her eyes. I ignored it before, but this last episode was something else.
  15. Steve/Peggy was good, but IMHO Tony/Pepper was better. Steve/Peggy had romantic chemistry, what gave them an advantage in the romantic department was the star-crossed lovers situation, it made us feel for them, but when I try to think about them as a couple there is no stand outs. They met, had a little discussion in a cab, Steve gets the serum, saves Bucky and next we see them have any meaningful conversation together was about Bucky's death. we did not really spend time together with them. What really saved this pairing was that both had chemistry and Peggy's actor is a good actor with strong screen presence that cannot be overlooked even when she had little screen time. Tony/Pepper on the other hand, started small and we see their relationship develop on screen, we see them date, fight and make up. No matter how immature Tony acted sometimes I see them as everyday couple with problems, their relationship is not over the top and I buy them as a couple. I hope the writers fix their relationship in infinity wars. I was a little into Clint/Natasha till Joss ruined it in Avengers 2, I would have bought them as a couple. I must confess that I no longer care about Clint, Joss ruined him for me in that movie, I laughed out loud when he said to T'Challa, "I am Clint" and he replied, "I don't care". I watched the first Avengers movie the other day and realized that Joss must have planned Natasha/Bruce from the beginning. If you look at some of their interactions in that movie now you might see little seeds of their future romance, its just that the set up in the second Avengers was bad. Thor/Jane, meh. Lets hope they do a better job in Spider man and Black Panther.
  16. I laughed at this, Bucky (Becky with the good hair...). Anyways, you are right, there probably would have been a romance.
  17. They may reverse it, but I hope that they keep some of the improvements. For example, if they right Iris better and give her more screen time, I don't believe that when they reverse what Barry did, that they will go back to Iris being in the background. I think they might experiment with this to see what works better, then they will stick to it, or maybe thats just wishful thinking on my part lol.
  18. Tony/Pepper are great, good chemistry, well written, I love them. I hope they do Natasha/Bucky some day. I need the t-shirt too.
  19. How can that kiss be passionate when Barry just reveal that he was broken inside? Give the guy a break, his dad just died. I love that the kiss was sweet and nice, that was appropriate for the moment. Being passionate and tearing each others clothes off would be out off character for both of them in that scene.
  20. Even though we've had some awsome Iris episodes this season (12, 13, 14, 21) I kind of agree with this, but isn't Joe having the same problem? He's a cop but we hardly see him and Barry at work anymore. I hate that star labs is where 90% of the action happen, its limiting most of these characters, I hope that changes next season.
  21. I don't see it as being resigned rather as Iris thinking of the greater good. Most people are mad at Barry choosing his happiness over the fate of the world and now we have Iris make a tough decision to put the safety of the universe first. How is that wrong, she saw the greater picture and Joe agreed to it as they said, to me it makes Iris a better hero than Barry, she has what it takes to make the tough decisions, and it wasn't like she loved doing it, you could see how hard it was for her, she was holding back tears.
  22. Yes, even as a stucky shipper, I agree with this, I prefer Cap when he dose not have a romantic interest. its good that some people want representation, there's no harm in that but I don't think its right to turn on Marvel because they didn't make Cap bisexual (seriously this is a thing too, its not just straight or gay). But also its not respectful to term the people that want this as stupid/crazy as I have seen some people do else where. This is not a new thing, some times people reject canon love interest, happens in every fandom, Arrow, The flash, Star trek, xmen etc. The only different thing here is that this ship is not straight and I don't like that people sometimes treat some of its shippers with scorn. The studios and writers should write what they are motivated to write and not pander to anyone, they just have the do it in an organic way.
  23. In get why you are disappointed, the writers not showing us more of Steve's motivations is one of the two criticisms I have about the movie. The thing is that as a movie judged on its own merits, it’s a great movie. Even though the movie was crowded every character had an opportunity to shine, Steve, Tony, Bucky, Sam, Antman, Black Panther, even Sharon Carter. The villain was an everyday kind of guy that I felt sorry for in the end and he actually achieved what he set out to do. More than any of this, the movie avoided the cliché of having the heroes unite to fight a common threat but rather made the fight personal. As a movie it as great but for fans of Captain America that wanted a movie about Cap and his friends tracking down Bucky it might be a disappointment. From a business point of view, Marvel did the smart thing. They were able to get people hyped for the next Spiderman and Black Panther movies, even though people were tired of the former and knew almost nothing about the later, last week or so, BLACKPANTHERSOLIT trended on twitter. As a Cap and Bucky fan (now Black Panther's too), I was a bit let down, but I enjoyed the movie and am glad Black Panther was included. I just wish they could have given us a couple of minutes where Steve reflects more on his thoughts, Bucky voices out how he was feeling about being an assassin for hydra and maybe few flashbacks to their time in Brooklyn and Peggy. Let's hope we get some of this in Infinity wars.
  24. I know some westallen fans are worried about this, but the thing is that Barry and Iris were already friends before his mother died, so I think they are still going to be friends. The exception will be if Barry and his family moved away from central city. Even at that, when they meet again its not going to be as strangers. I think there is a reason the writers had Iris make that promise to Barry about waiting for him no matter where he goes, they are not going to be separated for long. So, I'm not worried, I can't wait for next season.
