  1. I want tiana&hakeem back together with cookie as their manager. More lola, more crazy loucious, he is sexy. Please focus more on the other 2 brothers, especially andre, his actor is the most talented. Tired of jamal sue.
  2. Hakeem is no poser, he is good just that his dad tried to control him. He is out from under him, so lets see what he will do next season. Ironic that hakeem was not easy for loucious to, "make in his image", but jamal who have always "been his own man" was so easily manipulated by loucious.
  3. I love to hate Loucious, TH is doing a great job. So what will happen next season? I have a feeling that Jamal will be as ruthless as his father, Hakeem out from under his father's influence will blow up and come in into his own. Can't wait. But i still want jamal, hakeem and Andre to still love each other. Loucious should have left his company to the three of them.
  4. Suprisingly, these last two episodes are my least favourites. Cookie and Hakeem should go and start their own company, and take empire down. That rap battle with jamal was aweful and was not needed, just another way to show us that the gay one is badass. It was an unbelievable scene. I wish the show didnt spend all that time on jamal, he is not the most interesting character.
  5. Too bad TPH and Luke Derek have no chemistry, I would have enjoyed them.
  6. Hakeem is the son with the biggest heart. He just hides it under a tough act. He was the only one shown to be worried about andre after they left the hospital.
  7. I don't agree that hakeem offering his watch and money to save his brother means he dosen't have heart and is the kind of person that buys his way out of problems. I believe the three boys are all qualified to maybe run the company in the future, but none is there yet. I think the irony is that together they can exceed their parents expectation, but lucious is making them fight each other for it. Jamal could still be the daddy. I believe they will revisit that story line, maybe in season 2 or 3.
  8. Oh, and they better bring back Lola by any means necessary. Oh, and they better bring back Lola by any means necessary.
  9. The issue i have with the show runner is that he is turning jamal into a walking-agenda that reduces my enjoyment of the character. He's using jamal to prove that the gay man is as much a man as the straight man, this is not the problem, the problem is that he makes the character sometimes say and do things that dosent make sense just to prove a point. For example, when hakeem's friends attacked him and also when he confronted hakeem at his house, jamal kept refering to himself as "sissy". This made no sense to me, he normally used that word as a way of being sarcarstic when talking to his homophobic dad not his supportive brother. Then the writers made him hit his brother to prove that the sissy is a badass. Another WTF moment was last episode when he kept pushing his face into the gun. Why? To prove he is fearless? As far as we can see, jamal is not sucidal. He should be talking down the crazy guy not egging him on. In situations like this, people only act like jamal did if they had nothing to loose, or are trying to save a loved one like luscious did, usually people try to negotiate like hakeem did. I love jamal, but mostly because i love the actor playing him. I enjoy jamal the most in scenes with louscious, lola and hakeem, and recently in scenes with andre and ryan. I understand that one of the issues the show is trying to tackle is homophobia, but they don't alway have to use jamal to prove a point, let the character be natural.
  10. I didn't find the video sexy too. I hope Luscious doesn't die till the final season, he might be the closest thing to a villain, but he is necessary to the story. I enjoy seeing him square off against everybody. What I love most about this show is the chemistry between everybody. they really seem like a family despite their differences. its easy to see the love between all of them. so I don't want any of the family members dead, oh and I want Tiana, Rhonda and the little girl to stay.
  11. None of the lyons are dying? This is a show about a family, all the characters are needed. I think it either vernon, Anika, Rhonda or Berllenti
  12. I hate the drunken scene not for any hoodrat whatever, but because it seemed so fake, i could just see TPH trying way too hard to make that scene funny, it wasn't natural.
  13. I love, love the three brothers in the elevator, my heart melted. I've always loved everybody in this show with Hakeem a little bit my favourite. In episode 4 Andre made me care about him when we saw how he covered for his father, in 8 he stole my heart when he had that gun to his head, now he owns me, he's my favourite now. I want him to get better and run the company with the support of his parents and Jamal & Hakeem as superstars. The actor playing Andre is so talented, he,s in the same league with TH and TPH. Ofcourse It helps that the actor is so handsome. As much as I think TPH is a great, that drunk scene was not convincing.
  14. Ofcourse cookie would say that she just knew Jamal better, but what I have seen is that she loves Jamal more. Knowing Jamal better dosen't excuse her working against Hakeem to make Jamal a star. This is not a terrible thing, as parents loves the kid closest to them more. It only becomes bad when they make it so obvious that the rest of their children pick up on it.
  15. I don't know about cookie telling Hakeem she loves him as much as she loves Jamal, because I just watched episodes 2 and 3. She was actively working to pull focus from Hakeem for Jamal, Rochelle had to tell her that it was cold blooded and that Hakeem was her son too. I don't doubt that Cookie loves her children, but she loves Jamal more.
  16. Anika looks biracial to me.
  17. another reason why i think Luscious was voted ''NO'', to Andre is that he acted like he was glad luscious was dying and couldn't wait to take over his company. it was probably less than a week that he came clean to his family that he was dying and already Andre and Vernon have already met the board members behind his back to vote him in as the temporary CEO. hell I would vote no too if my son did something like that to me. the least that Andre and Vernon could have done was to wait a few more weeks or months, then meet Luscious first before going to the rest of the board, it looked to much like he was trying to steal his company from him behind his back. he showed no loyalty to his Father in that situation.
  18. before I comment about Andre I want to state that he is one of my favorite characters on this show. he is flawed in a lot of ways and that makes him interesting. i am also not an American, i watch this show on the Internet so regardless of how the African American community feels about a black man that married outside his race. i believe that there were some truth in what luscious said about Andre. luscious might be the villain of this story and unlikeable, but I always pay close attention to what he says because there are grains of truth in whatever he says. from the first scene Andre had with his brothers he has been shown to not care about them, he has worked hard to destabilize his family all in the name to take his fathers company that he had every right to give it to whomever he wants to. Andre has been shown to be ashamed of his mother and reject her. I don't even believes he loves Rhonda, when his mother asked why he married her, his answered that it was because she was brilliant not because he loves her. IMO i think she is just a means to an end for him we've not seen much of Andre's back story but I wouldn't be surprised if all his friends were white and he married Rhonda because she was white, he acts like all his family were beneath him. i think luscious knows a lot about his sons though he tries to manipulate them. I think if his father wasn't rich that once he left collage that non of his family would have seen him again, he is here for the money and position. and blaming luscious for Andre's actions because he was responsible for pitting his sons against each other for the company doesn't work because we don't see Hakeem and Jamal trying to work against any of their brothers, Andre choose to work against his family. that being said, I still love him and felt for him the most in this episode, I hope to see him try to build a relationship with his brothers and mother. I would love for the family to come together and become an unstoppable force. I've always had a soft spot for Hakeem and ironically he is the one with the biggest heart in that family and seems like he values his family the most, Luscious might be just right that Hakeem is more like Cookie. wouldn't it be funny if years into the future Hakeem still turns out to be the one best suited to run the company? making Luscious right in choosing him. please show let that adorable girl be Jamal's daughter, I want her to stay. I love Cookie but she was very rude to Camilla even if she was right about her, she had no right to respond like that to her, she didn't even shake her hands when she Hakeem introduced her to him. I love every character on this show, yes even Luscious. this is the best show on TV for me now.
  19. Imho this is the best episode. The family bond in this episode resonated so much with me. I might be one of the few people that dosent have a favourite character in this show, I love everyone. I think these people can achieve more if they come together. I felt so much for Andre, he might be the one that loves his father the most, he was freaking out about him dying and not the company. Bye michael, sorry never liked you that much. Please can the litte girl stay? The family needs a daughter. Hakeem and Jamal making up made me so happy. Those fool are better together than apart. However we feel about Luscious and Cookie, those two have mad chemistry together and I enjoy it.
  20. if my brother accuses me of sending thugs after him to rob or hurt me I would be so mad that at that moment I wouldn't think of anything else. Just as someone previously said. Jamal is written sympathetic so people are always ready to defend him, from the pov of the characters and not as the audience, Hakeem is Self-centered some times but there is no reason as far as we've seen for Jamal to believe his brother would do that to him, we've been shown that Hakeem love his dad and brother and respects them, he listens to them. I know how it feels when someone close to you accuses you of doing something horrible without giving you the benefit of doubt. its not a good feeling. And whats up with the things Jamal said to his brother about being dumb and just his dad's boy, where did that come from? was that the anger talking or have he always resented his brother?
  21. I know that Jamal was written sympathetic and I like him but he was getting boring till now. this episode shows that he doesn't think things through before acting sometimes. Hakeem has never given him a reason to believe he would send his friends after him, to what rob him? he has his fathers support and doesn't need the money; to mess up his recording session? just last week Hakeem visited him and was the one to tell him to write about his neighbors disturbing him, though he was joking about it. its funny that Hakeem was the one that first told him that their parents are trying to pit them against each other and Jamal reassured him that they wont let them. so it doesn't make sense that Jamal would just suspect him without at least asking him. maybe Jamal is a little jealous of luscious love for Hakeem, because those things he said to Hakeem came from some where. for me this episode made Jamal more interesting than the ,'' my dad hates me because I'm gay'', angle. in my opinion non of the brothers deserve to run the empire for now, they are all flawed. I think this show is trying to show that non of them can do it, but together the brothers can run the company. I predict that Jamal might end up going darker just like his dad, Andre might grow to care about his family and Hakeem might grow up, become more independent of his father and make a name for himself. I hope the boys would just band together and kick their parents to the curb. as much as I enjoy the characters of Cookie and Luscious , they are both terrible parents and are not good for any of their kids until they learn to love and appreciate them equally. oh I love Hakeem and Tiana's relationship, its hilarious. I wish that they can become some kind of partners/power couple, they can be good for each other.
  22. I love the iris/joe/eddie Scenes, iris saved everybody. it was good to see iris interact with joe, I didnt like the show neglecting them for barry/joe most of the time, so thank you show for giving us iris/joe. Got to say that the chemistry between barry/iris/joe is so heart-warming, this maybe my favourite relationship on the show followed by barry/iris. I liked eddie in the previous episodes, and I fell in love with him this episode. Drugged eddie was the best. I hope that RF is revealed to be future eddie and over the seasons we get to watch eddie become the RF, just like lex on smallville. Wells is still my favourite character. I don't know why I find villans more compelling than heroes on tv/movies, (loki, sylar, rumple, evil queen). Maybe its their actors. Lol. Barry and the mugger made me laugh, i kept rewinding that part. Grant is so adorable as barry. The look on his face when he was looking for joe and iris was great. Cisco and caitlin are okay. Still love this show, don't have a favourite episode yet, they are all great. Writers, you are the best.
  23. My love for Iris keeps growing. Its funny that a woman that refuses to back down from a story because its dangerous is not seen as brave. Its not like barry, joe and eddie are not in danger, it should appy to them too. I love what the writers are doing. Eddie is definitly reverse flash, I refuse to think different till I see otherwise. Lol. My favourite scenes were: - joe/wells - Iris and barry when he gave her the hint for his name. I was suprised that the chemistry between them here surpassed the iris/flash chemistry last week. - The final scene. Please dont kill joe! This show is just great.

    Iris West

The way I see it, she loved the idea of being a cop but was not passionate about it, so when she found something she was intrested in she stuck to it and refused to give in. She also refused to breakup with her boyfriend despite her father, and she told him in episode three that didnt take long. She already have more dimension, which will grow as she comes to love being a reporter and growing as one. I love what the writers are doing, they are not just giving us the flash origins, but are showing us an iris west the reporter origins, the firestorm origins, reverse flash origins and possibly the vibe and killer frost origin.
  25. I have no issues with iris not recognizing the flash, his father didnt recognize him too, and i will take it any day over lois not recognizing clark just because he was wearing glasses at least the show tried by bluring barry's face. I love this episode, barry and the wests have amazing chemistry. Plastique was boring though, but barry learnt to use his powers more. I hate that they made barry stupid by making him ask cisco and caitlyn things he should know as a scientist just to give them things to say. Hated barry and joe lying to iris. I love that she stuck to her gun, wouldnt respect her if she had given in. I can't wait to see her journey to becoming a reporter. I still love everyone especially joe and wells. I trust the writers, they know what they are doing.
