Nobody is going to convince me that the writers didnt pull this jay = zoom out of their ass. I believe they must have intended zoom to be someone else and then just changed it few episodes ago just to wow us, nothing about this makes any sense. I love barry but he is the worst superhero ever, so stupid. Atleast we got iris pov and iris/caitlin

I don't think natasha is going to get much focus here, shame. I hope they hint buck/nat and flesh it out in infinity war. About the stucky ship, i didnt ship them in the first cap movie. But in the WS, the feels were really there. Change the sex of any of them with the same storyline and i bet you that most would assume they have feelings for each other, so no some are not just seeing what they want to see. The shipping war on tumblr is stupid, disgusting and entertaining at the same time. Some people take this movie way too seriously. Black panther and bucky are so badass in that clip. I wish they can be friends at the end of this movie. I'm still pissed we would get spiderman solo before black panther solo, now we have to wait two years.

I like hakeem/laura, but i have a feeling it won't end well, they might even kill off laura. Hakeem/tiana were nice in season one, if this storyline leads to a jayz/beyonce kind of power couple, i'm all for it. Now writers bring in the baby drama and anika's craziness, lol.

The reviews are coming in and they are great! This movie is the bomb, can't wait.

Bucky is a tragic character, brain washed and turned into an assassin against his will and sebastain is hot, i get why people love him, especially women lol. I get what you are saying, the winter soldier did not show us his pov, so it might be hard for some people to connect to him. But i believe we might get into his head in this one, thats one of the things i'm looking foward to in this movie and black panther! I just hope that both sides are right and noone is villified so that they can all reconcile at the end of the movie.

I would love bucky/nat on screen. You know most shippers don't ship because there is a chance for their ship to be canon, people just go for what they like. As far as they are not hurting anybody, I say let people ship what they like. I've never read a comic book and I suspect that atleast 90% of the people who are going to watch this movie world wide have never read a captain america comic book, so comic book staron will not stop them from shipping whatever relationship they like. I do agree that less focus on romance is good for mcu, their strength have never been romance, tony/pepper is the only ship they got right. Please when do we start getting the reviews?

I'm a stucky shipper and staron kissing dosen't suprise me, i was expecting that. I just hope its earned in the movie. Shipping has always been a nasty business, especially on tumblr. This is nothing new, its in every large fandom with good and bad from both sides; star trek, starwars, harry potter, arrow, the flash, marvel. I've seen them all, however it is important to note that the bad comes from a loud few, majority just watch the movie, enjoys the interactions between their favourites and read fanfics. I feel for staron because they are getting hate, not just from one pairing, you have stucky, stony, steve/sam, steggy, steve/nat, lol. And it dosen't help that these other characters have been on mcu longer than sharon and are well loved. Sam was introduced along with sharon, but i've never seen anyone who hates sam, i believe it has to do with Anthony mackie's charisma and chemistry with other actors. Also sharon have not had a lot of screen time and from the spoilers and promo's i don't think she's going to have much in cacw. She might makeout with steve, staron shipper can atleast enjoy that i guess. I saw the antman and cap clip, can't stop smiling. Antman is the only mcu movie i am yet to watch. I have it on my laptop, will watch it before cacw. The mtv clip is badass, this movie is going to be awesome.

Bucky co-lead? Beautiful. I have a feeling black panther might become my favourite mcu character after this.

So I was right last week, camilla is dead. Hakeem is a brat, but he is an entertaining brat, especially in scenes with cookie. Lucious is stone cold, his children shouldnt aspire to be like him. I don't think anika pushed rhonda and i cant wait for everybody to find out she's pregnant.

I'm actually grateful that barry telling her about earth2 didnt spark her interest, that would be bad, and i could see people using it to discredit westallen. I hate to say it, but i now appreciate why scott was introduced, i just wish scott wasnt her boss. With iris dating scott right after barry told her about earth2 shows that is not going to motivate how iris feels about barry. This is in line with her choosing eddie even after she heard about being married to barry in the future. So any romance iris might find in the future with barry is not going to be because of earth2 or the future, but purely because she fell inlove with barry. I believe thats what the writers are showing.

Thats why i am against the idea of "epic" romance. That iris didnt love barry that way before, dosen't mean she wouldn't in the future. We've already been shown she have feelings for him, we dont know how much because of her lack of pov, but they are there. IMHO thats what any romance needs to grow. Even a little spark can start a wildfire.

Thank God Rhonda is alive, i would have been pissed if she died. Poor andre, poor rhonda, lossing a child is no easy thing.

I so agree with you Rcharter, it made me so mad. I hate that cookie has been toned down by the writers who seem to love making lucious win all the time. Hakeem's life would have been way better if he had abandoned his mother and went back to his dad, but he didnt, he stood with his mother because she sold him on the idea of the both of them building their own empire. Then once lucious was in danger of lossing empire, cookies tone changed to 'dynasty is our company but empire is our family', in one sentence reducing all their hardwork to nothing. And now she had the guts to beat hakeem, they just reduced cookie imho, i now see her as all talk and nothing else. Atleast more than anyone, hakeem had the guts to get lucious where it hurts. They now turned what hakeem did as worse than anything lucious have ever done. I supported cookie beating hakeem last season, he deserved it, but here its just wrong, and the writers conveniently kept hakeem from taking the broom from his mother, yeah right. These writers imho are not writing these characters in a realistic way except for hakeem and lucious most of the time. Others just act as the plot wants them to. When was the last time jamal had a good storyline? And no, his sexuality is not a story line niether is his singing one. Its ironic that as unpopular hakeem was last season, he is now the most developed character on empire. I heard that somebody will die this season, i'm calling it, laura or camilla, maybe even both.

The producers and writers really got lucky with candice. This actress had everything stacked against her character. She is a black woman playing a traditional white character (i know we would all love for racism to be a thing of the past, alas its not so); she was the outsider with no knowledge that barry was the flash; she is not a scientist, a superhero or the tech girl ( yeah, audience generally hate female characters that are not one of these in superhero shows), she is the love interest of the hero that dosen't love him back (burn her at the stake! Lol, seriously fanboys hate this and others will look for the next available female or expect the show to prove why she deserves love), she got angry at the hero and other men in her life (fanboys hate this too); a new love interest in season two for the hero (giving an alternative to people who would take anybody else for the hero) and finally little or no point of view. Its very impressive that despite all this, candice was able to get people to love and care about her character. I have seen people on this board and other sites that do not ship westallen, but still wants her to get screen time and pov. This speaks of candice strength as an actress and her charisma. I will also add that her fans really tried their best to promote her and fight for her, and i'm sure that helped also. Its just a shame that the writers are not giving her more screen time, they are just wasting her potentials. I hope it gets better for this character, it can't get worse.

I've comes to accept that people will want different things in fandom so it dosen't bother me when they don't ship what I ship. That iris and barry grew up together is not a problem to me, mainly because of two things; one, they were already friends before they moved in together. At the crime scene of nora allen's murder, Joe said that he knew the family " my kid is friends with their kid". That means that both families were already connected. So what happened later dose not change how they percieved each other before, iris is not magically going to turn into barry's sister and not the girl he had a crush on. Two, candice and grant have romantic and friendship chemistry which made it easy to see them as romantically viable and not as siblings, even with joe as a father figure to barry. I don't have any problem with what iris said in the first episode, the way i understood it is that its complicated, to them they are not brother and sister, to anyone looking at them without having all the facts it appears like that. Thats why eddie knew they weren't and patty not being there in season one assumed it was. I think the writers may have fun with it when they get together, it might even be funny and entertaining. Relationships like this exist in real life and it dosen't make people like that bad. There's always going to be a reason to like or dislike a pairing, if its not this it will be, they don't have any chemistry, they are more like friends etc. They are all the same, so i just enjoy what i like, and i believe that anyone that dosen't ship them also have the right not to, that they are still watching shows that there are other parts they enjoy, so everybody wins.

I've hated how the writers handled some westallen storylines, but this episode is not one of them. This is matured and pheonics and driedfruit explained it better, this episode is very good for westallen, now all they have to do is get rid of scott asap.

I dont care if they lost their virginity to each other in the comics, this is the westallen i am watching and want to see get together. I've never read a comic book even though i love movies and shows based on them, if my love for stucky didn't get me to read one (though i've been tempted to read the winter soldier comics), i doubt i would read for westallen (i love them too, but not as much as stucky).

I don't get this trope that a tv couple must be epic, each others first and only love to be taken seriously. Its never like that IRL, people can love someone completely and deeply and still end up divorced within two years or can still find an equal or greater love if the past one ends up dead. Iris is lucky, she got to love and have two wonderful men love her. Eddie was a great guy to iris, he dosent deserve anything less than love from iris, so to show westallen are the greatest, iris shouldnt mourn and miss eddie? That iris loved eddie dosent mean she would be settling for less with anybody else. I loved this episode for the barry/iris/eddie arc, thats a mature way to show iris is ready to move on.

Boring episode, the only saving grace is team flash at the bar. I hate scott, can he leave now? I just don't get why they need this character. This episode deserves its low rating, it was boring and was not promoted enough. They were busy promoting supergirl crossover, I don't watch it and will never watch it no matter how much they promote it. Focus on your own show and its characters. Next week looks interesting.
