  1. From the family on Friday, the Mom probably defers to the males in her family, so that's why she's not critical of anything the son does. Today's show - I think Mercury is really disturbed. Sounded like she was indeed stalking (from what little I paid attention to during this tedious show). The other woman had gone to the police multiple times, the police seemed to think she had a case in at least one instance. Phil, of course, rushed off to plug Robin's answer to Mother's Day presents! Her perfume named after her mother or whomever. Yeah, pass. Just do an hour long infomercial already. Surprised he doesn't tell some of the womenfolk that Robin's products are the answer to all their problems.
  2. Wendy did act like she was crying, I think she said oh I can't.............but it seemed kind of fake to me. If it wasn't, then my bad for being too suspicious. But why was it just at the end of the show if he was so important to her? I get maybe not to bring the show down, but there are ways to do it and move along. Show happy pictures, pictures of the crew all together. @Mindthinkr, I rely on folks like you, who take time to do truthful reviews, so thank you.
  3. OMG. I am going to lose my mind. Some small project that one group has been working on (half assed), has of course ended up being my problem or partially my problem somehow. Manager A comes by in Feb or March, saying we can add stuff to job 123. Yep, I need a list, a ticket telling me what you want added and when. We sent copious amounts of information on how it processes. Not sure what they did with all the info. Comes around in April, and I get a message, are we all ready? Beats me, did you submit what I told you to submit a month ago? Oh you need something. Nah, I'm Ms. Freaking Cleo and I just know......... Phone call and one of the manager's underlings says oh well we don't like this run schedule, it needs to be different. Say what? It runs when it runs, schedule already done for 2018. Well, we need for this new stuff to be in for April. Fine, job runs in 2 days, so submit your crap now. Amazing I got it immediately. All set up. Nope, not good enough. Client has 1,000 questions and these idiots cannot answer a damned thing. Junior Project Mgr assigned, who knows NOTHING about it. JPM is at my desk for the next several weeks. Had to set up shit for an emergency test run, even though her boss said why? This job has been running for 20 years now, we know what it does. Nope, had to have new test, which was crap. JPM had zero clue on how to set up test cases. Every other day - CRISIS!!!! So today, some codes not in place for new stuff. JPM and the other manager were to check. Ooops. Then saying you need to do codes for the other way - shit that will NEVER happen. I mean not reversal codes, those are set up. This is moving shit the other way around, which would never happen. Oh, and manager A missed that they need other codes in place, which have to be done by programming (realized that today). Good luck Chuck on that. Won't be done today. JPM - what does that mean? I don't know and I don't care. I really don't. Then Dip was being overly Dippy today. This won't work for me. Now this won't work. Uh, huh. I was like I need time to show you XYX crap, which we'd discussed and Dip really, really, really wanted to see - today said what is XYX? Beats me. I give up. Interesting that another support team member confirmed to me that they're scared when Dip handles anything complex. Just validated that I'm not a complete bitch and not completely crazy (yet).
  4. Watched part of the show today while working from home. She had on a topic about someone who wrote a Yelp review for a restaurant (take out order that was delivered). The woman gave a 3 star review (which isn't all that bad), and the owner came to her door. The owner also kept calling her about the review. Wendy instead focused on what the woman ordered, and oh that's why you don't order take out. Then she said well, SHE doesn't pay attention to online reviews. Ok, your highness. If it's new, I don't want to spend my money at some place that's going to be awful, so reviews can be helpful. I don't have bucket of money to waste on stuff that I won't like, so I do a little research first. Then she kept fussing around with the hem on her dress. She did it the other times I've watched, too. Very annoying, like she was trying to discretely show more leg? Then after the show is almost completely over, she made the announcement that one cameraman had passed away, and was so upset, like gasping for breath (maybe trying to sob?). Now, if you were that hard hit by it, wouldn't you have been upset throughout the show, or maybe mentioned it first. Like a nice photo montage if he was that close to you; she said oh he'd been there since day 1. So you didn't have a few photos or even some little stories to share? Nah, I don't think she was that upset or close with him.
  5. I caught something on one of the reruns before tonight's show. Deena said Sammi was very concerned that Ron would come into the house, kind of stalk her and not leave her alone. He'd been calling a lot to phones where he'd been blocked. Sammi was reportedly making $80k per episode in the last regular season (Snook, Mike, Pauly, Jenni - I think all made considerably higher - supposedly). Anyhow even if that amount for this show was even half that amount, assuming 10 to 12 episodes, she turned down a lot of money (at 40k per episode would be around 500k). I would guess that most of the cast did not take less than what they were making on the last season, but who knows? Maybe they just wanted to be back on tv. Anyhow that tells me she was most likely afraid of Ron and what he'd do. The rest of the cast, nah, she'd argue with them maybe or just fade in the background like Jenni has on occasion to collect that money. I honestly do not blame her for not being on the show. It would stir up the old shit with Ron, when she's clearly trying to sever all ties with him (wisely so). There was an old episode on today (Italy) where Mike told Sammi that Ron had been calling all sorts of girls (saying I wish you were here - one that was shown on tv). Of course, Ron blew up, he and Mike fought (Mike ran into the cement wall - wth) but Ron ended up blaming Sammi for everything. Same old shit. He cannot take accountability for a damned thing. Now the door closed on its own. Right. "He/she/it made it me do it". Wah, wah, wah. Mike hasn't been an asshole so far, so I think Ron is going too far with some of the cracks. Mike has at least (from what we've seen thus far) try to turn himself around. The courts will take care of any crimes he's committed. He's shown more discipline and maturity by staying sober for close to two years, more discipline and maturity than I think Ron will ever have, sad to say. Vinny is a mama's boy. Mama has done everything for him, so not a shocker that he can't give himself a trim. Deena probably was told to amp up the drama, so she drank a lot. She was never really a good fit for this show. I'd still take her over Angelina, though. Everyone is walking on eggshells because Jen is coming to the house? I'd behave normally as possible. Ron did everything to himself; no one forced that girl 'French Fry' on him.
  6. Someone seriously needs to call CPS to that house. There are two kids now involved. Let the "adults" fight all they want, but protect the kids. Being reported now that they have broken up. Until he apologizes again, they make up, then round 3 happens, rinse/lather/repeat.
  7. I couldn't sleep last night, and after channel surfing (mainly infomercials were on), landed on the movie Mame (the musical). It was where the Man in the Moon scene was on screen. Bea Arthur was selling it like nobody's business, and for some half awake moment, I was thinking oh Angela Lansbury is about to come on screen. Ooops, no, it's Lucille Ball. The scene fell flat when Lucy came on, and it was a comedy scene. I watched up to the point of where she meets Beauregard Burnside and they go to meet his mama down south. The whole 'We Need a Little Christmas' seemed so lackluster. Lucy sounded like she'd just smoked a carton of Marlboro's and gargled with sandpaper before singing. Even the 'My Best Girl' song, which is so sweet was awful. The poor kid couldn't harmonize with Lucy - who could? He had to carry the melody. Now, I love Robert Preston, but his role was beefed up I guess, but he and Lucy had zero chemistry. Lucy was wooden. I just kept thinking where is this magnetic personality that is Mame? I turned it off before they got to the title song. The whole thing with the close ups of Lucy being done with a vat of Vasoline on the lens was tiresome. I just scoured the internet to see why Lucy had been cast, but didn't really find anything. The Wiki page said something to the effect that it was baffling that the studio passed over Angela Lansbury who had won a Tony (and rave reviews) for her portrayal. I don't think Angela was older than Lucy, so I don't get it. Did she piss off someone at the studio or pass on it? Just miscast horribly. Woof.
  8. Ok, I saw the whole episode. Ron is a douchebag. He's a cheater, and I don't see him changing any time soon. Mike tried to tell him nicely, your behavior was bad. Ron gets all defensive, tries to say he brought the girls back for Pauly!! Whatever. Then he goes ballistic on Mike, who was actually trying to be a good friend to him. Then he says he feels trapped by Jen and the baby. Had he not been so belligerent and defending of his actions (plus the crying again and again), I would almost say he wanted to be caught cheating. He would then be free of Jen, and just have to deal with child support. I still think it's a possibility; maybe he's crying over how he 'lost' Sammi. (Part of me thinks that he only wants Sammi because he cannot have her and/or she dumped him - finally for good).
  9. I was on a phone call while the show was on, so I could only watch snippets with the sound on very low. I saw the first part where apparently Pauly gets Ron and the blonde out of the bathroom, then they go into the bedroom. Oh they were just going to talk? What about the living room or the area by the pool then? If it was just talking, why the bedroom? And Mike was in there trying to sleep?? The looks on the guys' faces (Pauly and Vinnie) were just so telling. When those two think you've gone over the line, you're miles over the line. They were looking very somber. I caught the very end re: video with Ron and the blonde being all over social media. He really is an idiot. Not only is he cheating on his pregnant girlfriend, but this is the age of everything being caught on phones (photo or video) and then plastered all over social media. Then I'm reading that he basically says he still wants Sammi, not really wanting the girlfriend. How nice. Sammi should be getting a check just for how much she's mentioned during each episode. Smart, smart move by her not doing this show. Waiting to see the rerun of this episode. That stupid Ex on the Beach show is on now. Why is it when I don't want to see a rerun of Jersey Shore, it's on loop 24/7 (almost or seems like it)? When I want to see the rerun, nope.
  10. Was Kim trying to hint at reverse racism towards her? No, stupid. You said shit about everyone in the cast all season (except Sheree), some heinous shit. How did you not think you would be called out? Cockroaches, I didn't understand that it was necessarily racist, but I thought it was classless and tacky to send that out about anyone's house. Bugs can get into any freaking house. Once I would have heard the explanation about how it is racist, I would have apologized. Actually, as an older white woman, if I don't know about something or I'm not sure about something when with a person from another race, culture, or religion, I ask politely or choose my words carefully. If I ask I just say, politely, I am not familiar with that or can you explain that, because I'm an older white woman from the Midwest, so I don't know. Most people are more than happy to explain or say why something is viewed as inappropriate or why this or that is done. Kim obviously does not care one bit. Kim was obviously brought on to stir the pot, but damn, she was beyond all measure. Saying shit that was racist, potentially liable shit (licking the box), are you on drugs, and all around nasty for no reason at all. She barely interacted with the cast, so it's not like there was some long running beef. She had the fight with Kenya early on, which looks like she provoked. Kenya didn't say anything that wasn't true. Kim did ask who Brielle needed to blow in order to get tickets to the John Legend concert. Not a joke to me. You can't say oh leave my children out of it, when you are constantly bringing them into it via your social media comments and pictures. Then she said oh Brielle is 21 (woman?) and very successful. So on one hand, she's a child, then she says oh she's grown, she's a successful woman. It switches up as soon as Brielle's interactions with the other women are criticized - oh don't bring children into it. You do no see Sheree's kids, Kandi's daughter, Cynthia's daughter, or Nene's sons picking fights on social media with the other women. With her little rant at the end, Kim not only burned her bridges, but any hope Kroy had of being a sports commentator/announcer is probably dead, too. His tweet didn't help. Since they're joined at the hip, any network or organization is also basically hiring Kim, as she'd be there hanging on, looking for some photo opp/publicity. No way would anyone want that now. He stood there and didn't say shit when Kim made her comments about racism, so those maybe his views as well. Since they always appear to be in tandem, it's a fair assumption. Kiss his sports career goodbye (I don't think he really had anything on the horizon for him, anyhow - either playing, back office, or announcing). Which, why wouldn't he have started his own training facility, like for youth football, or an overall athletic facility? He could've probably done something like that in Montana where I bet he's still somewhat of a local star (there are rookies in the NFL from my hometown who are doing clinics, for Pete's sake, and they're treated as 'stars' there). Problem is, Wig won't move there.
  11. Mike has clearly matured, and he has not made one gesture, remark, anything that could be even slightly interpreted as inappropriate towards Nicole. Vinny was close to the inappropriate line or slightly over it. Vinny just needed to let it drop after Nicole got so upset. Just learn to walk away and ask her in the sober light of day. The whole stopped up toilet thing still bugs me. I've had stopped up toilets, and had to unstop one for my mom. Mom just had one stop up the other week, and she figured out how to unstop it, and she's 91. Ron walking away and laughing just shows me how immature he is. This new episode, Deena is allowed to be friends with both Sammi and Ron. She's probably closer to Sammi, which infuriates Ron. And oh yeah, I'm sure Sammi talks every day about Ron - NOT. He cannot fathom that Sammi is not still hung up on him. Ron wants everyone to be on HIS SIDE. He was wronged. Probably Sammi dumped him after giving him chance after chance. When Deena said oh he (Ron) called or tried to call Sammi on phones where he was blocked said a lot. He's obsessed still with Sammi. Then this fool brings home girls to the house. You have a pregnant girlfriend at home. I bet he cheats when he's at home. He's just a serial cheater. Nicole, not a great idea to give the girls such strong drinks. I guess she was trying to keep Ron out of trouble, but no Bueno. What if the girl had OD'd or worse? She at least stuck around to babysit the girls and took care of the one who got sick. Still impressed with Mike. Guess maybe getting in trouble with the law was the best thing that could have happened to him? It's a hard wake up call, but he's rising to the challenge from what has been shown.
  12. I just tuned in and Phil has a couple on where the woman clearly told the guy, not interested in seeing you until you are divorced. He said he understood that, then lied to her saying his divorce was final. They ended up living together for 18 months (not sure if he'd filed for divorce and it was pending), then loser tells the woman oh gee, I'm not really divorced. He then tries to throw him under the bus by saying well she did this or that.........totally not owning up the fact that he purposely deceived her for 18 months. Then Phil says, well because he's a decent dad (plus other crap he's observed) loser seems like a good guy, so I'd give him another chance. Say what? This guy has lied to you about something you clearly said was a deal breaker for 18 months. He never owned up to a damned thing, but it's ok because he seems like a good guy? WTF. Honey, kick that loser's ass to the curb.
  13. Ok, I just saw Dorinda and the night of the 31 ding dongs. What a mess. I was cringing as I watched, but it was mesmerizing like an awful car wreck you know you should look away from, but just can't. Everyone was a D list or lower "star". The crowd still went nuts over even the has been "stars" (looking at you Gretchen, Lauri, Brandy). Jeana should sue her doctor. Just dreadful. Gretchen looked almost unrecognizable. And yeah, babies first then marriage. Sure, Jan. I did think Dorinda looked cute. And Dorinda spoke maybe a few sentences? How is it she's the guest, but then they bring on everyone and anyone? And was it ironic or pathetic that Luann sings 'Money Can't Buy You Class'? True dat. Look at the stage.
  14. I bet she doesn't either. She wouldn't stand in line. Kroy would have to go into the booth with her. (I know Sweetie no longer works for her, but I just heard in my mind's eye - her yelling "Sweetie!" because she couldn't figure out how to work a voting machine.) It'd be too complicated, she'd be tired, plus I bet she couldn't bring her red solo cup of wine anywhere near the voting precinct. There's the alternative of an absentee ballot, but no. She'd be late in sending it back, or again, it'd be too much work. Kim does not seem to have any fun. She seems to be joyless. Even on DBT, I don't see her really having a good time. Drinking, cursing, saying how much she lurves Kroy, complaining, saying she's tired, gossiping, but I don't see any real joy or true laughter. Maybe that's why she always has her red solo cup. Maybe Kroy's parroting how hot Wig is because he knows he's stuck now. There's no easy way for him to get out of the Wigdom now. I think he'd probably stay for the kids' sakes (the young ones) until they're at least 18. Maybe he does love her, but damn, even though he's not a great prize from what's been shown, he could have done better than Wig. I can't imagine being at someone's beck and call 24/7. Wig has to be one of the laziest people ever on tv.
  15. I saw part of yesterday's show with the 23 year old who said her mother 'stole' her son. She had the baby for a year, and I didn't get how the grandmother and step grandfather saw the child was in jeopardy. He had a severely infected ear, diaper rash, eczema, skin rash, diarrhea, vomiting. They were like that's enough and got guardianship of the child. Apparently, the 23 year old was adopted and kept saying she wants my son because she's jealous/couldn't have her own kids. She expected her mother to give her money so she could take them to court (grandparents) to get her son back. Phil was just incredulous. She didn't see where that was wrong. For his help, he offered doctors on demand, maybe something else, but damn the girl just needed to grow up. She'd had 6 jobs within a year or so, lived 3 hours away (blamed mother for that - I can't get there, I don't have a car), hadn't seen her son this year at all. I think she'd been spoiled and enabled forever, and her mother finally said enough is enough and stopped the gravy train. I went to Phil's facebook page, and there were so many people saying the grandmother just needed to give the child back to the mother. Rich people always take advantage of poor folks. Say what? And you don't need a car to get around town. True, but they lived somewhere in Indiana. Not every town has bus service. I tried to search to find out where they lived because I'm originally from Indiana. I haven't found a thing thus far. But anyhow, you do need a steady job, ability to parent (Phil had an entire list of what was required on the screen) and all this spoiled child said was well I need to figure out child care or I need money for child care. On facebook, people were saying how expensive child care was, but if she was mature, she would have tried to get some sort of assistance or look into any local programs to help. Nope, she actually said at one point, something to the effect of what she needed (maybe she was sort of asking Phil) money for child care. He just shook his head, but he really didn't offer much to help her. She won't be getting that child back anytime soon. And the grandparents said multiple times, they took him in temporarily or what they hoped would be temporarily. Hells bells, I bet they did. They don't need to be raising her child. That's a huge job. They looked like they were of retirement age, so I'm sure they wanted to enjoy their retirement. Entitled brat is what I wanted to yell at her. She needed a huge wake up call, but it's not going to happen. The grandfather said everything to her was always someone else's fault, never took any responsibility. I was just surprised he didn't offer some of Robin's skin care to all. The end of the show is almost just an infomercial for affiliated Phil products. Or would it be Phamily products?
  16. I've probably already posted this somewhere, but I cannot stand Steve Harvey on his talk show. My mom LOVES him, so I "got" to see him recently as she had the show on in her house. He comes out with some mini monologue, not funny one bit. He laughs at his own "jokes" like he's so funny. And he has to bring up oh that wouldn't get by me (because I'm hood) or I grew up in the hood, then he told someone else he was country. He said he grew up in West Virginia, but I know I watched a birthday show for him (oh he was completely surprised - right - he's the producer or exec producer of the show, so no way he was surprised, I bet he arranged the whole show himself), and his high school in Cleveland was featured, and they renamed a street for him (like a 1 day deal). He changes his background to meet the immediate situation or so it seems. Then he does a matching game with an audience member; if they get so many matched they get $$, etc. It's not a new concept - I know there are online games that require you do to matches like that. When he gets into relationship advice, nope, sorry hard pass from me. And he always seems to tell females that they have to please a man or do stuff for their man. It just seems so misogynistic to me. I don't mind him as much on Little Big Shots, probably because the kids are so cute. He does get on my nerves there, too. Same routine, old man who doesn't know what, or he's nonplussed by the kids' remarks. Then, when the kids are doing their talent, they have to show the reaction shots of him standing off to the side, clapping or saying stuff like 'get it girl', etc. I just find him to be an over the top old ham, using the same old schtick. I don't mind him on Family Feud, but he seems to be getting really full of himself. I think that at some point, I won't be able to watch LBS or FF because he'll be so obnoxious. He seems to put on other personas when he's the Miss USA/Universe host and when he's hosting Show Time at the Apollo. I may watch Show Time at the Apollo for the acts, but the beauty contests, nah. I'm at home today and his daytime show just came on, so I had to vent.
  17. Really annoyed. Boss told Dip that she needed to cut down the OT. Say what? I have minimal OT, especially recently as we're in a bit of a lull. Well, it was announced yesterday that no OT over 2 hours per week unless approved. So Dip gets in before 6 a.m. - which is ridiculous. We have no inbound requests at that hour. A newbie to the team followed suit. BS. We get a lot of OMG I need this type of stuff at 4pm or later. None of us do official lunches, so working straight through, that means Dip has to leave around 2 to 2:30. Means that I have to come in later to cover shit. I am half tempted to come in at 8 and leave at 5. See what happens with that. I'm sure I'd get called or texted with the urgent shit. Today sure enough, both left - around 2 pm. There is stuff that has to be reviewed around 4:30 today, which means it's being dumped on me. The cherries on my sundae of a day: Person in charge of regulatory (tax and other filings) asking me how tax calculations (by state) work. There's a whole freaking manual. I just went through this with this person about a month ago, and they've been in this position for over 10 years. We had a meeting the other day with actual SME's for regulatory (for our division) and they were dumbstruck by the stupid questions - shit that has been in place for a good 6 years or more - that are now being asked, and the same person acting like it's all new. I told co-worker, we're going to be fined and/or sued. New setups - rush request coming up. Dip is like Horseshack, saying ooh ooh ooh, I want to do one! That will mean going over shit step by step, shit that the Dip should know, as they review all of the setups. If you don't know this shit, how do you review it? I may ask, just to hear the response. Makes no sense to me. So basically, if you don't know how to set up, how do you review the data to determine if correct? Means, the review is crap. Then Dip went on and on with emails re: the required date for set up, first asking me what timeframe should be. Ok, I did one this week, less than one day. Oh, but that can't be the timeframe for Dip - I'm still learning. It's been at least 4 years on this team, how long does the learning or training on basic shit go on? Anyhow, back and forth, back and forth, with Dip being told by manager, yeah we said ok because major client. But we need standards. True, but if your major client says we need it NOW, you're not going to say oh sorry can't do it, when it can be done. Such a dumbass. We potentially have new business - which would be huge, coming our way. Dip freaks out. No, that is good news! More business is good news. Corporations are consolidating shit right and left, and if we have a bigger base, that can help prove our worth. We're kind of small right now, and if we don't grow.....not good. Dip was just concerned about having so much work. Ok, most of the time Dip sits and gabs. Asked by another manager, can clients do this or that on an application? Again, someone who's been around over 15 years. They should have it written down, as their area is asked that at least 1x every quarter.
  18. Agree that Ron should have unclogged the toilet or called a plumber. He should have a plumber on call 24/7. He just said oh it's not working and walked out of the restroom. Then he just laughs about it. I didn't understand why Snooki brought the wine into the bathroom, as the smell would've gotten into the wine. It was set back on a sink and the toilet was in a small contained area - like an actual water closet. It would have had to have been a huge splash to get to the wine, but I guess maybe microscopic particles could get into the glass. I wouldn't have taken the glass in there, just gross, period, but not certain it was in the 'splash zone'. Ron is so not over Sammi. His conversation with the current girlfriend was awkward. Paulie called it correctly. They really do not know each other. I doubt they'd be together if there wasn't a baby coming. I have a feeling Ron is always going to compare every woman to Sammi. I would almost bet he's been trying to get in contact with Sammi ever since they broke up, or when he gets on a drunken bender. Maybe he sends flowers for days??
  19. Ok, so I missed it. Did they find Snooki's ring? What in the holy hell does Ron eat that causes him to plug up every toilet in the western world? I would be so embarrassed, but I think he thinks it's some macho shit (literally, maybe) that he's proud of in some stupid way. Vinny, you are honestly asking about boundaries? I was like Snooki is married, she doesn't want anything remotely done that could be seen as inappropriate or disrespectful to her husband or family. I don't think it's funny acting like you're dry humping any female. Vinny and Ron do not seem to have matured one bit. Snooki went off the rails a little bit about it, but damn - she was like I am not going to do anything to disrespect my husband. A smarter person would have said ok, and talked to her when she was less heated. Nope, they all had to keep on and on about it. Leave her alone, and she would have calmed down. I know when I get angry, I will go off and rant for a while, then I calm down. If someone comes and says whatever to me, it just keeps me in that heightened state (ok, not to the point of Snooki - but she may be overacting a bit - I suspect producers are telling them to up the drama). Mike seems to have done a lot of soul searching, maybe learning the hard way of what not to do. Props to him to remain sober in that house. All they seem to do for fun is still to get drunk. Plenty else to do that can be fun without getting sloppy drunk in clubs.
  20. I haven't seen but a few glimpses of the reunion. I have a strong reaction to Wig, as in I want to throw something through the tv when she's onscreen. Her lips are ridiculous, and how does she manage to have at least 3 chins (from the one screen grab)? The comment from Marlon Wayans was funny. Of course, Wig has to drag in that she's got kids, always using her kids as a shield. Someone needs to send Wig a huge mirror. None of the women in the ATL really know how to dress, except Cynthia. Cynthia could wear a burlap bag and look good though. Most think they have to have something so over the top, when less is more.
  21. Watching some reruns today, season 3, I guess. Saw again the epic fight between Ron and Sammi, where he destroyed all her stuff (or most of it). How or why the producers tolerated such violence is beyond me. Then she left, which was a good move. I am thinking she came back because she was contractually obligated. If I'd gone home and told my mom what Ron did, no way would she have allowed me to go back. I guess maybe because it was filmed and crew was already around that lent some safety to the situation. Then, after she leaves, Ron is all crying and upset. The whole fighting then feeling so badly afterwards just struck me as what an abuser typically does (or what I've read they do). They're mean and violent, then afterwards it's the oh I'm so sorry, being overly sorry. Sure enough he sends flowers for days to Sammi. Did she egg him on? Sure, but his reactions were over the top. You can be angry without becoming violent. He would go from 0 to 500 in seconds, with just such a rage. The other thing that hit me is how sexist the guys all are. Girls are to clean up, make meals - or they were bitching that they didn't do that. None of the girls at that point seemed to be too domestic, but Jenni did clean up and cook on occasion. The thing is that the guys were all stuck with the idea of the 1950's housewife. Uh, wake up, those days are over. I think one said oh this is 'women's work'. They were all roommates, so all should have lent a hand in cleaning, cooking, etc. (I will say that it always looked like Mike did make some good meals for the group. I believe he left the clean up for others, which was more than fair). I think Deena would be a loyal friend, but as far as a tv personality, nah. She just tries too hard. Angelina had some better tv moments, but she wasn't a 'villain' you loved to hate. I just couldn't stand her one bit. I wouldn't think she'd be a good friend, either.
  22. Bill was all butt hurt about boycotting, because he's been on the receiving side at some point. Oh, it hurt his livelihood. Well, that's part of the game if you've got a political show or are in the public these days. Anyone has the right to boycott your show, your advertisers, right or wrong. The thing that is so annoying to me is, if you feel your original statement was not wrong, do not apologize, do not back down. Ingraham apologized after advertisers started to pull out of her show. David Hogg said no, her apology was not sincere, plus she's been saying nasty shit for ages, with no apologies issued. The Parkland kids were on Bill's show a few weeks ago, and he or one of the others said, all they (lawmakers) understand is money, so we are going after their money. Bill just laughed and applauded (and the audience loved it). Where was his outrage then? Bill wasn't wrong about the lip service given to kids. As with anything, Republicans are just about the money. NRA brings in the bucks. I don't think any educational associations have that kind of money to get them to vote their way. So guns win over books.
  23. While watching the reruns of old seasons (at home working and I had a bunch of old shows on in the background), I saw a good chunk of Miami. I wanted to shake Sammi and say get out of that bed, lose the douchebag Ron, go enjoy Miami! Then she turned on the girls as they told her, via the note, what Ron was up to on a nightly basis. I think after being away from it for a few years, she may realize how toxic she and Ron were together, and said no way do I want to be around him. He mind fucked her big time. He also had a talk with her out by the hot tub/pool towards the end of the season, where he just went after her for no real reason really. I think she'd dared to say it wasn't cool that he was kissing other girls or some shit. How dare she. He wanted to go out and fuck every girl in sight, but have her at home, too. Right. And everyone else was wrong for "telling" on him. Douche. I also caught part of the last season (I think it was the last one) where Snooki was pregnant with Lorenzo. The guys, Jenni and Roger (maybe Sammi and Rahhn) went to a club. Who was there but Angelina! I was like ok, so this was either a producer set up, or she was trying to weasel back into the show. If she knew Snooki was pregnant, maybe Angelina figured Snooki wouldn't last the entire season. Then Angelina went to every guy and apologized over and over again. I was just thinking oh bitch move on, you left, you blew it. Missed that golden goose. All she to do was try to get along with the others for a few weeks. The people who stayed did well financially from the looks of it. Angelina may have gotten a little money, but she missed out on the big bucks. And if I recall, the reason Angelina left season 1 was for her shady BF. He didn't have time for her, so she thought he was cheating or finding someone else. Then she went to Miami and was 'single'. Oh, plus Angelina didn't want to work at the Shore Store. Like it was hard work. She was above it because she was a bartender? Yeah, trying to sell or make t-shirts is so much worse than dealing with a bunch of drunks.
  24. I was stunned with Paulie's wealth (or apparent wealth). Good for him. Vinny wasn't fat, but I guess he's more toned now. Again, good for him. Snooki and Jenni look like they're good moms. Snooki looks strange with the work she's had done. Jenni does look more 'settled' into her look now. I don't blame either for going onto the show. Maybe some time away from the kids, chance to relive their single 'glory' days. Deena wasn't a friend of Snooki's if I recall correctly. Maybe they'd met briefly, but I think the we're friends was BS for the show. Deena had an audition tape. I think she was maybe a second choice if one dropped out. Deena always seemed to try too hard. I prowled around the internet and saw Sammi's twitter and instagram pages. She's got a new guy, who she's been with a while now. She's got her own products for sale, has had a podcast, so I can see why she wouldn't want to get anywhere near the Sammi/Ron drama. Ron seems to not be over Sammi one bit. He's so going to cheat on the current GF/baby mama. She also has a young son, so not only add the role of dad but step dad if he stays with her. I believe she does go down to FL (the GF), or maybe it was rumored because she was wearing some FL shirt. Ron is a douchebag. Who doesn't at least say sorry for your loss, when a friend loses a parent? How difficult is that? Send a message or do a brief call. The end. Oh, I didn't know what to say. You're how old? Just say very sorry, thinking of you. He could've sent flowers; he knows how to do that - he sent a bunch of flowers to Sammi and someone in her family after she left the shore house (following one of their epic fights). The doll had to be a producer idea. Ok, so she pissed on your dream of massive drama with her and Ron in the same house, but c'mon. It was in poor taste. Mike. Oh, you're in atonement mode, now that you are up against the law. It's surprising how everyone who gets in legal trouble suddenly gets clarity, finds God, whatever. Good for him if it's for real. I don't think he'd go to maximum security prison. While no prison is great, they're all acting like he's going to the same place as murderers, etc. He also looks like he had botox or something?? Or did he just gain weight?
  25. Oooh, I love that clip. JD is scum, just like the rest of the men on the show (most of them). Whitney looked like he's had work done, his skin is tighter than before. His reaction was classic, like oooh, shit, you are in trouble. And I loved how the conversation was just that - no screeching or screaming. I think because it was so modulated, that made it more powerful; not someone screaming and looking the fool, but a reasonable person.
