I think it is more likely that the opposite happens....that Twisty ends up killing Dandy because he thinks he's just too muc and ends him. Twisty is an evil serial killer, but he seems to think that Dandy is a piece of work. I also think that Twisty actually likes and feel protective of the woman and boy, so if Dandy does anything to actually hurt them, I think Twisty could end up killing Dandy as a result.

How did no one tell me that Pacey Witter was in a new show on Showtime? I had seen the ads for the show when I was watching Homeland, but since I got snookered into watching Betrayal last season, I was gonna pass on it. Making a love story out of cheaters isn't something I wanted to watch again. However, I looked at the cast list and saw that Joshie Jackson was the hubby of the woman cheater, so I decided to give it a shot. I realized pretty early on that it wasn't the show I thought it was. It had the True Detective, telling the story from different timelines that I was immediately attracted to. I also love the dueling stories from him and her. It's really interesting for me to find the differences of their stories. About the two main characters, I find them both pretty unlikable, him more than her. At least I can justify her shittiness with the loss of her child. The wife and the husband of the two cheaters are both much more likable IMO. They should find one another and make a much happier show....minus the devil spawn children. I guess I am going to keep watching, even though I am not sure this show isn't going to leave me hating society and the world.

That's apples and oranges. Someone doing drugs right before beginning their job is something that would be an issue for any job, teaching including. That isn' a moral issue, it's a criminal one. Someone who goes out to parties and has a good time or does something you would not do when they are not teaching is a completely different animal. Also, not all teachers have a morality clause and most unions will fight tooth and nail if a school district tries to fire a teacher for something they consider unbecoming outside of work. Now many communities harass a teacher and get her/him to resign, but it is rare that they can just fire a teacher for what they consider a moral and not a criminal issue. And since this has nothing to do with the episode, I will leave it here. In New Girl many of the teachers seem eccentric, but none of them seem like they are doing anything that would be damaging for the children or the community. They just look like quirky, kinda fun teachers.

I enjoyed the dumb jokes about the landline. And I am reminded that Nick is the reason I watch this show. He's charming and funny and makes New Girl work for me. Why? As long as people do their jobs aka educating your children, I don't think what they do in their personal time makes a lick of difference.

I think that is giving the DA way too much credit. She wanted to make her case whether it was the right guy or not. Sadly, it is often way too typical. The job of the DA is to prosecute and get convictions....not get justice. She said she could make the circumstantial case, but then in the interview room when it is becoming all TOO clear it isn't him, she is still going on trying to wish away everything he is saying and stating why he is still good for the crime. I'm in the minority, but I am liking the show. However, I believe that Dylan McDermott has some kind of magic pixie dust when it comes to me...since I seem to watch any and everything he is in and stay for the ride. I watched Hostages for gosh darn sake and that was a shit show from moment one.

Fitz is a prime time asshole. I've always given him slack, but tonight no more. Tonight he became the stereotype of what is good for the gander is not good for the goose. Jerk. He has always been married and therefore Liv has been the woman on the side, but the idea that Liv might have a someone who she can love in the light of day is revolting to Fitz? Fuck you dude. I loved seeing old school Liv who got down and dirty and found ways to fix the clusterfuck that was thrown at her feet. I liked how she was with Karen (tough but caring), how she told off the black mailing parents who had no soul. That's the Liv I fell in love with. Even though I loathe Fitz, I liked his lecture to Mellie. She hasn't been present for her surviving children and while he was mean, I think it woke her up. Her convo with Karen was also great IMO. She was her Mom and not the broken woman we've seen for the past few episodes. I also loved Cyrus' rant at Abby. He was right and Abby needs to just get Liv out of her head. It also reminded me how much Cyrus really does adore Liv. I'm 99.9% sure Jake won't die since this is a formulaic tv show, so I am just gonna enjoy the showdown he is headed for with Papa Pope.

I was sad that Meep suffered such a horribly violent death, especially for a crime that he didn't commit. I don't have a lack of compassion for him because of what his violent talent is on the Freak Show. I see him as a product of his upbringing and also since most people fill their plates with meat that got there through a result that is not any less violent and probably more painful for the animal.

If someone is impaired and severly under the influence by law they cannot give consent. Sex without consent even if the person did not say no is a sex crime. In the 50s it wasn't but it sure is today. Is it prosecuted....well no, but then again most sexual assaults aren't.

Cutthroat Kitchen - General Discussion
shelley1234 replied to Rhondinella's topic in Cutthroat Kitchen
Back in the day I used to not be able to stand Marcel, but he has really grown on me. He is really talented and these days just seems gosh darn charming. Justin on the other hand....I initially really liked him and he seems to just get douchier and douchier every time he graces my television. And Marcel finally wins something! YAY! About time son! P.S. Justin....you don't have better hair. But I'll let that go since since I know you are a bitter barn that you won Next Food Network Star, but they never gave you an actual show. So sorry, so sad. -
Yeah, it is way too much honesty and info for a kid, but of course it feeds the plot, so I am willing to let it all go. I also think that Gordon sees that Bruce is a pretty grown up, kinda awkward, kinda weird kid. He keeps trying to tell him things about the investigation because he also feels a sense of honor and duty to Bruce to fulfill his word and clean up the city/find his parents killer. I don't. Gordon is a cop and he can't just tell her everything. Gordon also told her things in the first episode and if I remember correctly, her smart mouth immediately called and got the media in on it. So I wouldn't be too hot on telling her something like "I know you think I killed Copperpot, but I didn't....however the system is so corrupt that I had to make everyone think I did. And yeah, that creepy guy who came to the house, that was him." Sure, he's gonna tell her that. He doesn't, especially since he set it up not to get the money, but to give himself status and power within the organization. He needs to tie those ends up so that his plan doesn't come back around and bite him in the butt.

Sadly it seems JPS never learned the less is more acting lesson. Every scene of her's is campy and over the top and honestly.....painful to watch. It reminds me of high school kids in their first play SCREAMING their lines. Come on now....there is nothing Ryan Atwood cannot do by brute force alone. ;) The thing in the episode that absolutely cracked me up is when Gordon jumped on the Ballonman's legs to force Bullock to shoot them both down, in essence saving Balloonman......after Jim hits the roof of the van, he smiles at Bullock and gives the most awkward *thumbs up* I couldn't help but love it and laughed out loud.

This show always delivers. I think the funniest moment of the night was the Mark jokes and how they continued through the whole competition. Wahlberg, Ruffalo all and my favorite Paul Gosselaar. It's those little jokes that just make the show for me. I also loved that they have the drug the street name Giggle Pig. Mainly because the street names of drugs are often redonkulous and this just made fun of that. Also, don't ever not have Jake be playful with Santiago again. Es no bueno.

All I could see if that one of his eyebrows was way higher than the other. It looked like half his face was REALLY surprised! -
I didn't immediately love this season like I did previous seasons of AHS, but I am definitely going to keep watching. As others have said, I am not sure who I am supposed to be rooting for since almost everyone seems pretty horribke. Also, clowns are the worst. I have been afraid of clowns for decades and good lord that clown. It can go ahead and fuck off.

BB Past Players: Dr. Will, Maggie, Dan, Dick, et al.
shelley1234 replied to Turtle's topic in Past Contestants Archive
I just read on twitter that Dick just announced that he is HIV positive. He said it was because he was just informed of his HIV status in BB 13 and that is why he abruptly left the show. I was never a huge fan of the man, but damn....wish him nothing but help and hopefully a cure in his lifetime. Edited: I see that was already posted. Still, wish him nothing but a long happy life. Interesting to hear that his girlfriend is dead set against him announcing it, but he was doing it anyway on Couples Therapy. -
I wanna like this show and at times I really do, but damn Jada...you are ruining it for me. She overacts every damn thing that she says. When the O.C. kid is acting in circles around you, it's a problem. All in all, I love the cast, but just went they went a different way since Jada is totally not doing it for me. She's one of my favs ever and have basically loved everything she's ever done. I think she played the role perfectly...with enough creep and comedy for the role.

FANCY! I love the description because it's the one chance the writers of the show have to openly troll the litigants for just how horrible they often are. -

Also in what world does MM think that crayons and toilet paper are hanging out together all the time. Does she hang out in daycare bathrooms a lot??? As for today's case....that poor woman who married her no good husband only to find out he never broke up with his girlfriend. What an ass and why would he want to go on The People's Court and tell everyone that he's a lying cheating asshole? Jeepers. -
Peralta: RICO, that stands for Racketeering, Investigative, Cop, Awesome. Holt: I have to ask, do you think Awesome begins with an O? Peralta: Yes.

So happy to have Brooklyn Nine Nine back! I've missed those crazy kids!! Terry behaving like a 7 yr old and Amy being SO upset that he ruined her lego house that she worked so hard on....was the best part of the episode for me.

I don't think she thought he meant it in a racial sense, I think she thought the word was a racially charged word. Those are two very different things. I watched the interview as well and heard her reaction. Derrick did not mean racial profiling and as a cop in Rhode Island, I doubt that he even thought anyone would take it that way, but it's a fact in the world we live in. He's not wrong though. He used his police and profiling skills as a huge advantage in the game. Derrick was able to pretty quickly assess what might motivate different houseguests and use that to his advantage.

S04.E01: Randy, Red, Superfreak and Julia

That's not the story as JJ Abrams tells it on one of the Felicity dvds, but I'm already way off topic, so I'll leave it here. -
I was absolutely bored at this episode of Bones....until Sweets died. I really liked him on the show. He was a great piece of the puzzle with Booth, Bones and Sweets. I won't be the same without him. I've also been a big honkin' fan of Daley since his Freaks and Geeks days. He'll be missed by me...for sure.

I seriously doubt Donny was covering for anyone. He had the biggest "shit eating" "I'm so proud of myself" grin when admitting that he did it. As many people in BB, Donny was a character in the house and it seems like he is more himself outside of the house and the game. I just don't seem to like the guy very much that he is when he isn't playing a part that's all.
