Ok, am I the only one who wants to know who is sharing new places by dm? I see the above posts and I'm not sure if someone else already DMed the above posters already, and I'm not even sure if I'd be sharing all the correct places anyway. I guess I'll just volunteer to do it,if that's ok with everyone? And then you guys could share the places with other posters if you want. (Ugh my brain hurts)ðĪŠ Ps dm me if you want if know of other places, and I'll make a list to DM to people who are asking. Ps why are they (possibly) ruining this place?ð

If anyone wants to try a Royals discord chat I just set up, dm me and I'll invite you. (Who knows if I even did it right) ð

I'm grateful for the CONVIVIAL friends I've made here.. especially the COMPASSIONATE ones who made me feel like this a place for shy Chi (me) to get up the courage to post my thoughts and feelings. I never once was made to not feel welcome here. PS if anyone is shy and afraid to post like I was, take a deep breath and say hello! ð

Ditto for me...the more places DMed to me the better! Please and Thank you!

S17.E21: Climbing Down From Decision Day
ChiCricket replied to TwirlyGirly's topic in Married At First Sight
Ok..maybe to some people it smells like fresh flowers, to me it smells like skunk. Source, my grandson who vapes in his room. JS everyone doesn't like the same smells. I also can't stand cigarette smoke. Ps I'd rather be around a pothead than an alcoholic, if push comes to shove. -
My husband and I have been married 55 years today. Thought I'd share a photo of us the day we got married. He was 21 and I was 16...yeah, it was a shotgun wedding, but 5 kids and 14 grandkids later, I'm glad it happened. I can't even imagine my 16yo granddaughter being married rn...I was just a baby, but thought I knew it all, of course. ðĪĢ Ps should I send this?! Oh, WTHeck. ð

You mean he had a burner phone? "She proceeded to tell cops she had actually found his burner phone while they were in the car, but she alleges he twisted it out of her hand ... claiming he'd broken her middle fingernail and left her with a few small cuts on her hand as well."

I could see myself using it when I want to commiserate with another poster about something they're going through (and the thing they posted is something that pisses me off because I hate that kind of thing is happening to anyone in the world.) But on second thought, I guess I'd probably still use the huggy bear emojii. Not sure what I'd feel comfortable using the angry one for. ps I dislike that they changed the rainbow thank you emojii to a weird little grateful one. JMHO

I've been meaning to say thanks to those of you who recommended Costco for hearing aids. We picked them up a few days ago. The specialist got them all set up for him, and then told me "ok, turn around so you'll know he's not reading your lips, and say something quietly to your husband." I said "this store is really big, huh?" and he said "Yes, it's huge!" He heard me clear as a bell! (I may have teared up a smitch.) They are awesome and worth every penny. Thanks again for the info about Costco.

Is it posting in real time though? I don't think I'd like that. I just like to read and post when I get around to it in my own sweet time. (But I'm sure that for those who want to chat in real time it would be a good place for them.)

It was not Jill R. Maybe JB Duggar lol. Are you telling me that Jillpm doesn't make forum buying money from her Plexus hustle? ððĪĢ

Maybe the whole site got bought by fundamentalists of some kind? (that's the only thing that makes sense to me) hope I don't get dinged for saying this.ðð

As a recent convert to Taylor Swift and her songs (I'm old) at least Meri won't be writing a song about them. Could be worse. ð

We're fine, thanks. Update: I'm watching the news and they're speculating that at least 8 tornadoes touched down in Illinois (damage still to be determined.) They're saying it's extremely rare for a tornado to touch down in Illinois in February, and that the last one was in the 1950s...70 some years ago. It was so nice outside today (74°), and now they're saying it will be 33° tomorrow, and it's supposed to snow. Ok me done. ð

My daughter is working at O'Hare airport (in Chicago) rn and sent me a video of everyone being told there was a tornado warning, and for them all to head to the tornado shelters (usually the nearest bathrooms there.) Up until a few minutes ago, my husband and I were sitting in our hallway because the sirens were blaring here. Word to self: drag two chairs into the hallway next time..our backs are killing us. #geezerproblems Ps wanted to share the lil vid but it's too big for this site, but here's two screenshots. ð

The doctor did tell me that the hearing aids might possibly be partially covered by our insurance. She said this a normal tone of voice, so my husband didn't hear a word of it.ð The reason I mentioned that he didn't hear that, is because I'm going to tell the doctor to tell him how much they cost without insurance, and then if our insurance does cover any of it, he'll feel like he got a great deal on them. ðĪĢ And if they're not covered he won't be disappointed. ps anyone ever figure out how to remove emojis on these posts? I sometimes go a little nuts with them and want to edit them out later..and I just CAN'T erase them ðð

ð You are starting to sound like an OLD ( like me) But I really walked Â― a mile to elementary school in the snow....with snow pants under a skirt or dress..brrrrrr.
-
I wonder if we can use our insurance there? Ps $35 copay just to clean wax out of an ear he can't hear out of anyway.ðð
-
Ugh..they don't do hearing tests at this location..wth..now I have to make another appointment. Phooey. I wish it would have detailed that when I made this appointment online. ð Ps at least he can get his earwax cleaned out today ð

I am taking my 76yo husband to a new ear doctor today. Wish me luck on having to argue his wrinkled old cheap butt into getting some real (expensive) hearing aids. I have already bought him 2 pair of OTC ones, and they were great while they lasted. He has broken one of one pair by stepping on it, and lost one of the others at church. He said he was ready to buy real ones, and asked me to make an appointment with a new ear doctor and would buy some that the new doctor recommends (he acted like such an ass at his former doctor that I think he's embarrassed to face him again.) Today is the day that he either holds true to his word, or I kick him to the curb! (He has the money, btw, but when he opens his wallet, moths fly out because he so seldom does. )ðĪĢ

From Google: "Except for a handful of circumstances (such as drivers license, Social Security account, passport) a person can use any name they wish without any legal name change procedure."
